Adrien has been locked up in his home for nearly his whole life where all the decisions have been made for him!

You don't think maybe he wants to go out and explore the world, do something, work at something for himself? To be OUT THERE, working/helping/doing good?

He already enjoys going out and helping people as cat noir, plus we know that he has a natural instinct to help others so I don't believe he'd be content just sitting around while others are in need.

I hate when people do this, believing Marinette should become the breadwinner of the family and Adrien the househusband simply for the sake of inverting gender tropes.

Both characters have been shown to want to be out in the world, one of the things they have in common is that they're not going to sit around or run away when there is danger.

idk why but it kinda rubs me the wrong way when people say adrien is gonna be a household husband??

don't you think he deserves to find himself, his true passion and be happy with his work alongside feeling useful?

All of these are very interesting and good points, but I just wanted to add the reason I always assumed why they have a rule against sharing their secret identities.

I always thought that the reason why ladybug and chat noir never shared their secret identities with each other is because if one of them was revealed/caught, nobody would be able to force the information of the other's identity out of them because they would genuinely lack that knowledge and thus the other's identity would remain safe.

I imagine this rule would have much more emphasis onto ladybug and chat noir since they are in possession of the 2 miraculouses shadow moth wants most.

Also because in the show they are in possession of the 2 powerful miraculouses.

WHY?!

I agree, it is just the excitement is dampened due to prior knowledge of what is to be shown in the episode.

I still hope the episode will still have a bunch of surprises, but when the spoiler comes around, it probably won't be the same level of excitement as the other surprises, especially with a spoiler that significant. It probably just won't feel the same as if you just experienced it along with everything else.

I still plan on watching the episode open-minded and having fun and being excited of what is to be shown, along with what has already been shown in the trailer.

If it turns out that Luka knows about both, that means Adrien FINALLY has someone on his corner. AND THOSE ARE GREAT FRIGGIN NEWS MY DUDES. Because what luck! it's the guy that has made it his friggin mission to get Mari and him together.

It's the guy that has been asking Marinette to be honest. It's the guy that coincidentally, has the traits and character that could potentially reach out to Adrien and encourage him to do the same. He's the guy that values honesty, but has kept what few secrets Marinette has entrusted him with. He's the guy that ADRIEN HIMSELF recommended as a "second chance" for the snake Miraculous.

what do you mean he's not a good pick? he's an excelent pick.

boy bouta go like: "you want me to keep a secret? bet. Adrien bestie, u need a shoulder to cry on? Say less my dude."

AND LIKE CAN WE REMEMBER?? THE FACT?? THAT HE WAS ALSO MARI'S SHOULDER TO CRY ON ABOUT "RESPONSIBILITIES" BACK IN S3? WOULDN'T IT BE A GREAT PARALLEL?? IF HE'S THE FIRST ONE TO BACK ADRIEN UP???

I for the most part feel very much the same. I truly started to like his character in season 4.

There were moments before where I cringed and became annoyed at his "cringy musician self" and music metaphors, like in previous seasons. At least this season the metaphors weren't that bad (and were in character) and were useful, like in wishmaker.

Plus I felt Luka in season 4 was the Luka they were trying have in previous seasons. I like him now.

Like I said, I actually started to like Luka this season and before that I was slightly annoyed/lukewarm about him
