Day 9 Christmas Tree

“ Coming through people- out of my way” Ginny yelled as she walked down the stairs with boxes in her hands. The crowded hallway of people made space for her as she continued making honking noise to get the attention and knocking along the way few ornaments kept over the side tables. 

She walked through the sliding door and soon kept the boxes on the floor and cracking her back up as she arched “ You- two idiots- move your asses and help with the boxes” She yelled at a sitting gossiping couple over the coffee table.

Harry reluctantly got up, Draco getting up after him and followed Harry as they walked through with Harry complaining about this being typical Ginny around christmas, trying to get everyone involved into the whole decoration process. 

They both went up the stairs of the cabin they had managed to get around the heavily packed Christmas booking to spend a Christmas with just friends and be away from the everyone else as much as possible and somehow everyone else was looking for the same, hence the packed cabin with Harry, Draco, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Pansy, Blaise and Luna, Neville wanted to join but unfortunately his banabarawuet sapling that just bloomed up in his Garden after 5 years needed his care. It was understandable.

" She's always so bossy " Harry mumbled.

" at least someone is " Draco mumbled from behind him as he followed him up the stairs.

" What do you mean ?" Harry gasped

" Well you all just had plans to swamp around like apes so it makes sense that at least someone is taking charge " Draco explained.

Harry walked through the door and turned a little to his side to see Draco " We were not lying around like apes- you and I were having a much important conversation-"

" about consistency of pancakes batter-"

" which is very important for someone who likes pancakes" Harry added.

Draco shook his head smiling and pointed the box for Harry to pick up and so he did.

" I am sure you'd love a conversation about the Immanuel Kant's hypothesis over the origin of the universe " Harry rolled his eyes

" well he did actually give out a good hypotheses which later was named into nebula hypotheses claiming that the Universe-"

But he was cut off by Harry's fake snoring sounds against the door.

" you're not worth it anyways- I'll talk about it with Malek from work about it- he actually went to study muggle geography and- he's a good guy- not to mention he's hot" And he finally got Harry's drooling attention

" hot ? Perhaps you would want add annoying to the sentence ?" Harry suggested

" No" he hummed frowning " he's actually really really interesting- he even got me a cup of coffee the other day " Draco replied with a plastered smile.

Harry raised a challenging eyebrow at him and kept the box back down he picked up and reduced the distance between him and Draco.

" I'm sure he was great but he can't make you hot like I do-" Harry pushed Draco lightly against the closet with his hands going under Draco's jumper.

" Harry- the door is open" Draco stammered.

" don't care- welcome to watch the show" Harry whispered closing the distance between him and Draco so his own leg adjusted between Draco's and his eyes met Draco's own steely grey eyes and lips bare Inches away from being touched.

" they'll find out about us" Draco hoarsely said then cleared his voice trying to get his voice back.

" they'll find out eventually- tell me about this guy though- hot you say, hotter than me ?" Harry asked in a dangerously low tone, his hands not dropping from Draco's stomach, holding him in place.

If Draco had to be honest, this had never happened in the four month's relationship that they've been, by this he meant Harry being even remotely jealous of someone he didn't even know, it Infact didn't even make sense for Harry to even be jealous at all but given the moment Draco threw all his sanity out of the window as he felt Harry's fingers doing a circle while the door was far too open for anyone to walk in and find out about them.

Draco raised his arms to push Harry away to create some distance and finally catch his held on breath but figuring out his intentions, Harry already pinned then to his sides.

" What are you two doing up there ?" They heard the voice coming up the stairs and Draco's heart beat rose frantically while Harry's smirk only quirked up more in a challenging and his fun seeking dangerous playgames way. Draco tried to wrestle free before Ginny would've come upstairs and find them in a position but Harry's hold was entirely too strong and as a good measure, to make it more enthralling Harry kissed over Draco's exposed neck, kissing it fevrently to sucking lightly for him to fight back a moan.

And just time Harry stepped away and picked up the box winking at Draco all at the same time.

" what's taking you so long ?" Ginny conferred.

" Nothing important thing- just discussing some work issue " Harry shrugged.

That bastard.

Draco caught his breath along the way and hiding through his jumper where Harry might've possibly left a mark and picked the box himself and took it downstairs.

Hours later when the teams had been divided into two with Harry and Draco being incharge of decorating the Christmas tree Harry risked his chance to brush his hands away with Draco behind the tree and even walking by too closely to him leaving Draco if anything but entirely greedy and desperate for touch, any touch.

Done with the tree, they were proud of themselves and decided to reward themselves with a glass of apple juice and piece of cake when Harry risked it all again and sqeezed Draco's ass behind the counter so no one would see but it made him jump up, squealing with his mouth shut and he decided he had enough and dragged Harry to his room he was staying in when no one was looking and pushed him against the door.

" What is wrong with you ?" Draco asked not trying to sound excited at all.

" Nothing- just you" Harry tried to reach for Draco again but he stopped him, raising an eyebrow for explanation and Harry gave up " it's hard- not being with you while we're here. Trying to hide my relationship with you from everyone. I don't want to and it's making me crazy not being able to hold your hand and I know it sounds shitty or very desperate of me but I've never felt what I'm feeling for you and I want everyone to know but I'm not ready yet- I just- I just wish it were easier but holding your hand is the only thing that makes sense " he sighed.

Draco looked at him in awe, pulling him closer and then hugged him " I know it's hard but it'll only be a few more days or weeks. We can come out to them as soon as you want you. I feel the same way about you Harry and I'm damned I do but I wouldn't have it any other way-"

" Open up this damn door or I'll knock it down"

Draco's head dropped down in exhaustion then yelled back " Privacy Ron- can I get any "

There was a pause before the knocking stopped " No " and the footsteps faded away.

Harry looked at Draco then smiled " You got rid of him "

Draco Chuckled shaking his head " Well if it's only way I'm getting to spend time with you I'm not gonna to let anyone ruin it for me "

Draco kissed his lips softly beholding in some moment where they weren't disturbed by other's the time of happiest season. Maybe it'll be some cliche Christmas story to tell one day, one trip, too many friends and a secret relationship.

Harry covered himself under the shade of the umbrella he bought and the sunlight hovering over the rest of his body. It was finally nice being at the beach to relax and to just be around nature. This was a much needed break from the over tiring work he had at the office, seeing files after files of immense amount of cases he had lost count of and everyone still fanning over him as soon as he’d walk in. It was just him, the beach, the sun, the soft music, nice wind, and natural sound of the trees wailing and the seals making noises far off in distance. He had laid his head back and closed his eyes after reading the magazine and had gotten only 5 minutes of relaxation when he heard the water whip harshly with something. He groaned to himself and raised his head, pushing his shades at the bridge of the nose and watched as his menace of a boyfriend walked towards Harry, embarrassed. 

Harry raised his eyebrows just as he stood by his bench. 

“ In case you didn’t know the water was awfully salty and definitely not tasty” 

Harry shook his head and laid his head back against his bench again smiling to himself “Menace” 

“ In my defense the fish was very very beautiful” Draco rolled his eye and collapsed on top of Harry. 

Harry let out a small laugh wrapping his arms around Draco’s torso instantly “ of course it was ”

I'm aware I have many dialogue prompts to just fill out, I'll be planning on doing these regularly while putting my other regular writing aside ( excluding the butterflies effect series) and other requests that comes the way ( if any ).

I plan on starting from scratch again and try to be as regular as possible. So here's to fluff December. And if I haven't mentioned before all requests are welcome.

December tends to be a stressful month for a lot of people, so let’s try to de-stress and unwind with some laughter this year.

All I Want For Christmas Is You

Day 3- Holiday music 

The place swamped more and more as the snowfall grew stronger minute by minute. It was almost as if a blizzard had come but it was just typical Britain snowfall. Harry served minute after minute, keeping a content smile over his face as he served to people after people even though his feets were killing him and his back was practically dying to be stretched out but with the snow outside and the Holiday season overhead he barely had anytime, not even to stretch and like a cherry on top the new waiter just dropped the muffin and the coffee of a customer. 

“ You look at the counter, i’ll clean the- your mess” Harry told the new waiter and picked up the mop and the dustpan. The waiter scurried away in a slight fear that he was going to lose his job and went off to the counter like Harry had said so.

Harry stretched his back as he cleaned the floor along with the spill and took it to the back and stood there for a few moments, letting his exhaustion wear down a little but not even a second later the same waiter came in and asked for Harry’s help. 

“ Its one heck of a day” Harry mumbled to himself as he followed the waiter to the counter. 

“ How can I serve you today sir ?” Harry asked kindly

“ I ordered a blueberry muffin, instead I got a vanilla cupcake and I definitely did not order a latte yet somehow I have this “ The customer slid Harry the order the waiter had messed up. 

Harry looked at the waiter who held an apologetic look. He shook his head. 

“ Here- take this- chocolate brownies are our specialty- on the house and i’ll be right with you with your order” Harry easily said.

The customer smiled hesitantly at Harry then went back to his seat.

" Olli- I thought you were getting better" Harry scolded him a Little.

Olli, the new waiter Apologised again " I'll take the correct order"

Harry sighed then served the correct order on the plate and made him deliver.

He was about to tend the next customer when his phone kept on the counter rang, "Ferret". He pushed the ignore button instantly and rendered the needs of the customer but five more times in a row made him impatient and he was forced to leave the counter and to go in the back and pick up the call.

" what ?" Harry snapped lightly.

" Wow- wonder if every boyfriend treats their boyfriends like this or is it just me- a special treatment" Draco muttered.

" Draco- dear I don't have the time- I'm running on a very tight schedule- can this wait ?" Harry asked impatiently.

" I- Nevermind " Draco replied disappointed.

Harry sighed knowing he had ruined whatever Draco was about to say and even his mood.

" I'm sorry but it's just, the cafe is filled with people and the snow isn't helping either- I'm gonna be stuck here for a long time I suppose- I wish I could come home early"

" But this was supposed to be our dinner night" Draco whined a little

" I know- and I know I promised but I'm stuck- I wish I could do something but- yeah one second I'll be there- yeah- I wish I could come early, I really do but I'm just stuck " Harry explained.

Draco sighed on the call " I understand- I wish you could make time- it feels like you have a much more stressful job than I have when I am the one who have to look after students making dangerously new potions everyday "

Harry smiled to himself " I love you"

" I love you too" then eventually unwillingly they cut the call and Harry got back to work.

Almost 45 minutes later of still ever-growing crowd and serving back and forth, billing and cleaning the mess, the door chimed again and Harry had almost lost it if it wasn't for the familiar man turning the sign board of the cafe to closed.

" we can't be closed yet" Olli Whispered to Harry.

Harry shook his head and the man turned around and walked right upto the counter.

" Since you couldn't make time for me- I came for you- this goes two ways " Draco smiled at Harry.

He shook his head at the absurdity but he couldn't deny that seeing Draco had lit up his day more than anything had today.

" listen up everyone- this- all of you- tonight is a special night with my beloved boyfriend but apparently he couldn't make time for me- but I could and here I am and I know this is a very crowded place and everything but God- this is getting dull- so-"

" Karaoke " Olli whispered yelled.

Draco turned his head to Olli and nodded, smiling " jukebox- I know how much you love your work Harry but I want to be with you even if it means being with you here all night just watching you- so here I am even if you want to throw me out of the cafe but-" he paused and put in a quarter in the jukebox machine he bought, the song beginning to sing and Draco pointed his finger at Harry then sang along " All I want for christmas is you "

The place dissolved in short laughs and a warmer surrounding as Draco continued singing while watching Harry who was just leaning on the counter watching him sing his heart out. It wasn't long before Harry shook his head and jumped over the counter to Draco and pulled him closer by the scarf around his neck.

" You're an idiot you know that?"

" an idiot in love perhaps ?" Draco suggested.

Harry shook his head smiling " An idiot I love" and kissed Draco with everything he had, everything he had to hold himself back from the entire day and the love that ran in his body for Draco, all poured out into that one moment. The thing was that sometimes they can't make time for one another, Sometimes the work becomes too much that they end up not even seeing each other but no matter what happened or no matter what may come, Harry and Draco were sure of one thing, that Love doesn't just happen and end up in happy ever after. There are moments that hurt, there are moments that leads to fights, there are so many more moments of disappointment but instead of finding a reason to not be with each other, they'd run back home knowing that if love was somewhere for them, it was in each other, even if it meant that they had to work hard and put through a lot and they were proud to do whatever they could do be with each other, even if that singing in the middle of a busy cafe along to the Christmas songs. At the end of the day when they'd curl into each other, it would all be worth it.

Well hello,

Nobody asked but here I am..

I've been meaning to post this for about a month but I told myself constantly it'd be an act of desperation and simple pity ( it's not ) but I felt like I needed to explain my much less interaction since October with my reading and my writing. Despite the fact that I know nobody's going to read it I'm still doing it;

Back in October ( early ) due to my messy, unorganised and busy schedule I took a couple days off writing knowing that I'd eventually inevitably return to writing whatsoever but I must confess on returning I didn't see the enthusiasm and it resulted into me questioning my writing and the eventual demotivation to be consistent and it effects me more because the people I've connected on Tumblr with and everyone around me here feels like a family to me. Therefore It had been incredibly demotivating going on lately, even though I still am going on and writing, I've been lagging off days because of this demotivation. I'd be lying if I said I have any requests in my hands at the moment, not more than 2 or so which are rather old and it aches me because in the last 2 months I haven't have had almost request ( at least here, which is my major writing platform ) but I remember days when I used to wake upto bunch of requests or even a single one but all I feel lately is Just closing Tumblr every time I open it. I'm not asking for anything neither is this a cry for help, request or anything but this is the actual reason why my updates have been unorganised and random, However I won't stop, obviously, I've lived being unrecognised and being recognised, and it still brings me at least a little happiness everytime I see someone reblogging one of my post or commenting on it. I hope everyone now knows why I haven't been writing much lately or have been inactive additional to the fact that I've been busy. I still love everyone and I still adore everyone who've continued supporting me and even the ones who have not. Much love💜.

Ps. I'll take this post down in a day or two and I'm sure of it.
