"Raven's Inquisition" is a Curse of Strahd prequel campaign I am currently playing in where we get to explore setting elements and character relations that otherwise could not have been explored in the canon module. The DM @emp-roar is constructing the campaign as an adaptation of the "I, Strahd" novel, where Barovia has yet been established, Strahd is still human, and the players are all inquisitors overtaking the Tsolenka Valley under the von Zarovich crest and the banner of the Morninglord.

I am personally interested in Sergei von Zarovich as a character due to his interactions with our party and my player character, Omen, specifically. I then decided to create a concise concept sheet displaying the various layers of his holy vestments.

I've wanted to draw these two for such a long time ! Ever since I saw @t00thpasteface 's art and comics (you should check them out if you've never seen them before, they're *very* good), I've kinda fell in love with their dynamic ? who can blame me ! The skillful assassin being tasked to kill the new emperor, but don't go through with it because the man kinda cute and offered him wine fnflfl incredible (and don't get me started on the whole former priest of sanguine so maybe they already met before bit, I will start eating dry wall)- also it's a ship based on two characters who never met and I love that shit (if you've seen my stardew valley fanarts, you already know that dkfkk)

But I wanted to add my own spin on it :) by making lucien lachance the most hedonistic little cunt you've ever seen fkdkld the man is drinking fine wine first thing in the morning after the getting the best dick of his life- and making him eat what can only be describe as the most aggressively cliché french breakfast :))) as a treat (my french ass trying to come up with a decadent breakfast : hmmmmm how about jam on baguette and wine ?)

PS : and remember ! The first rule of perspective is to have fun and be yourself :D second rule is to never ask me where the floor is

Herbert and Dan study date NOW. They still have the rest of their third year and their fourth year of medical school. How is this not half the fics.

They’re doing flashcards together and Herbert smacks him with a card every time he gets an ‘easy’ one wrong; Dan proofread’s Herbert’s papers which he refuses to write until the night before no matter how much Dan tries to get him to be more responsible (he just doesn’t give a shit); they have to do a research project together and bicker in the library so loud they get kicked out.

They glow under each other’s praise when they get test scores back. Herbert argues with professors in class and Dan just watches in awe. Herbert gets distracted by Dan’s habit of chewing on the ends of pencils. No one wants to be stuck with the two of them in a group project. Dan makes a mistake in the chemistry lab and Herbert dramatically fusses over his (extremely superficial) burns. They’re the best at dissecting human cadavers.

And yeah maybe Dan impulsively kisses Herbert on the couch one night while they’re studying and they don’t get any more work done that night.
