Aroace people are aromantic too, please remember that
I've read a lot of stories with humanoid gods and eldritch demons but none of the opposite.
I want to read about benevolent and kind gods whose appearance is so terrifying and indescribable that it drives people into fearful insanity, gods who don't even seem to conform to human standards of divinity; gods who strike fear into friend, foe and worshipper alike.
I want to read about demons who don't look like demons but are more human instead, demons who may not have an eldritch form but can still strike fear into the hearts of people, demons who literally embody the quote, "The Devil comes as everything you've ever wished for."
I don't understand how I could devour at least three large books in one sitting when I was in fifth grade but now I struggle to read just one page of any of my favourite books
My biggest dream in life is to write a book so profound, so inspirational that it will be regarded as a modern classic. I want to create characters so human that closing the book will feel like saying goodbye to an old friend. I want to create a masterpiece that will tug on the heartstrings of everyone who reads it, whether they exist now or in the years to come
I find it eerie that so many memories can be stored inside an ordinary object. I had a friend with whom I'd always read an encyclopaedia with every time I went to their house. Our most favourite page had a picture of the Norse goddess Freya riding her chariot pulled by cats and we literally obsessed over that image. Just before I left for India, my friend gave me a copy of that book because she knew how much I loved that picture. I still have it and whenever I look at it, I'm reminded of the life I had with that childhood friend
