Super random fact, but when Flying Scotsman broke his leg in the shorts Broken Bones Heal his break the first time was Comminuted (and not on the femur) and then when he damaged it worse not listening to the doctor’s orders it was spiral and through the leg and skin. We love the idiot, but he was being a big idiot. Now you can see why Gordon was pissed.

Writing Edward and James’ scene was SO hard. I remember being in tears multiple times just writing that and having to stop. I have lost both my parents, grandparents, a brother, and now a child so in writing that scene I wanted to convey a lot of that similar emotion of begging and wanting things to turn out alright. I’m so glad that I was able to convey that emotion and help you enjoy the characters and what they’re going through.

I need to apologize to everyone that I didn’t get the fic up yesterday. As y’all know I’ve been super picky with how things have been going, like there’s a lot of hurt and chaos coming up, and I have written and edited and written some more and… I hated it. There are scenes I love but more than 10 pages of absolute forced arch that I couldn’t do. So, I deleted it. It didn’t flow it didn’t envoke emotion it was just so… blah. Not the James x Edward scene, I literally started crying as I read over and edited that. But they aren’t the ML and FL. So, I went to read what I wrote for Gordon and Camille and it just fell so incredibly flat, especially after where we left off of him asking why and begging for everything to turn out alright.

So I apologize it didn’t come out but I felt like if I posted it, literally half of it would be a disappointment. Like utter disappointment. Mind you, I wrote this when my brain was half gone due to that awful pregnancy and things are rough to say the least.

It will be done and I’m working on it in between my kids being in school and housework but, seriously, I cringed so hard reading that. Felt like 11 year old, new to fanfiction.net me wrote that. And that’s just not gonna be posted.

So, it’s still in the works and still coming. But… EUGH! That was BAD.

Hello!! 24 for Henry and Hiro

Oooo, this one is a bit spoiler-y. Shall I do the thing?

Without going into heavy detail, if you’ve kept up with the fanfic, you will know that Henry and Hiro have attacked each other due to the illness that’s on the island. Do they have any recollection of it? No, not really. But the damage is indeed done, as will be revealed shortly, and they will struggle for it. Henry blames himself entirely and when a decision is made for the health of Hiro, Henry is absolutely devastated to the point of severe depression. Henry isolates, stops eating in his human form (not horrible as it’s not exactly life sustaining), but the one thing that’s his telltale sign of depression? He quits tending to his plants. All except his Amaryllis but even that’s neglected quite a bit.

Do they recover from this? Yes. I promised a HEA (Happily ever after) but that doesn’t mean it’s not gonna be difficult.
