Catch me in this whip @ walmart
I am a WHORE for “the love is requited, they’re both just idiots”
I like to imagine that the juice wasn't spiked and that orange juice just Does That to him.
The riddler knew he couldn't resist that sweet, sweet OJ.
A REFRESHING ORANGE DRINK???
one of the best Family Guy scenes!

Now we get to the good stuff, AKA, Batgirl!
(Done pre-Wacom tablet upgrade.)
Now if you were to ask me what my favourite incarnation of Barbara Gordon is, honestly, I'd be torn between two:
--Batgirl of Burnside
and
--1966 Batman
Interestingly enough; Batgirl of Burnside draws incredibly heavy on Yvonne Craig's influence on Batgirl, and it's not hard to see why.
See, originally, Batgirl as an identity wasn't meant to be a side-kick (that was a 1990's post-zero hour retcon! And a messy one at that!)
Batgirl was basically meant to stand on equal footing with Batman; she was an ally, not a copy. Inspired by but not working for nor under. That was pretty much established in her debut episode, in fact! She loved what he stood for, but had her own way; a much more empathetic, working-with-the-people approach!
That carries on to the current run today! So, wheras Bruce nowadays is happy to inspire fear and act as a semi-urban-legend, Barbara wants to be right on the street with the people--using a combo of criminal psychology with the most updated tech!
It's fascinating really!
But I digress.
While Burnside put emphasis on the practical design, the 1960's were all about stage presence! Something I wanted to capture here, using Yvonne Craig's history as a champion Ballerina!
It's actually a lot of fun to see how or if you can truly meld fight-coreography with the grace of dance...and ya know, I think it can be done. But I wanna explore and push it more!
Day 1 of "The Dark Knight Rises" Catwoman countdown: Julie Newmar.
Julie Newmar was the first actress to play the role of Catwoman. Newmar
starred in the 1960's "Batman" tv series from 1966-67, she was in 13 episodes and had to make her own costume and do her own makeup.

Day 2 of “The Dark Knight Rises” Catwoman countdown: Lee Meriwether.
In 1966 the "Batman" film was made, Julie Newmar was unavailable to reprise her role as
Catwoman so Lee Meriwether was the one to wear the catsuit this time. Meriwether's Catwoman tricks Batman into falling in love with her, disguised as a russian woman named Ms. Kitka. It was all part of a big plan to try and take over the world...

Day 3 of “The Dark Knight Rises” Catwoman countdown: Eartha Kitt.
"Purrr-fect", This Catwoman was made famous for her purr! Eartha Kitt took over the role of Catwoman in the "Batman" TV series from 1967-68. She was only in 5 episodes but she has gone down in Batman history as one of the best!

gotHAM, arkHAM,…… I’m on to something….
End of UtH fix-it where the bomb at the warehouse teleports Jason into the Adam West Batman show from the 60's. Jason's bleeding out when Robin finds him and fixes him with anti-hemorraghia spray and therapeutical fluting, and the general state of this universe is so absurd that it shocks him straight out of his episode. In the end they offer to adopt him and he decides he likes it better there and stays forever the one straight man in that universe, who comes to solve a situation with a really judgemental face like "you guys got tangled into a human knot of death? Again?". He also keeps shooting at people but it's fine because if he tells Bruce it was a "special technology fake death bullet" to trick the villains into surrendering Bruce just goes "okay makes sense" and doesn't investigate further.
