Rewatching rvb and season 2 Tex is so fucking funny in retrospect. You see in the prequel seasons that she’s an insanely deadly fighter, and chooses to remain silent, cold, and aloof to all the freelancers. She never talks to them, and she’s actually an incredibly powerful and intelligent AI in a robotic body. Unkillable and inhumanly intelligent.
Fast forward a couple years and she’s in season 2. All she does is sit around and fight with the Blues. She fought fucking space pirates and jumped off a fucking building, beating ever single other freelancer in combat, but is killed within DAYS of meeting the reds and blues. By DONUT.
She’s literally the most skilled and deadly freelancer, and spends s2 giving meditation sessions to a bomb, being scared shitless by an alien, and bickering with her ex boyfriend and his dumbass friends.

Rvbtober day 5! And I’m only a little late
Boy was this a mission but i was in need of the practice, took some artistic liberties for the sake of the piece but overall im pretty proud of how it turned ou
May have uh, written some new ideas for how Tex would look if she got to do what she wanted with her self expression and um, yeah, I’m so gay. So here’s the great state herself! In full country glory, this piece was inspired by me listening to “a girl named named Tex” (hence the theme of stars) and also scene queens new song. Loved doing this one, put a lot of my own personal style into it (mostly the mullet but a few other things too) hope you all like it too :]

Fun fact! I haven’t seen sailor moon, so this was me grabbing a reference of all the sailors and then going “these two have similar colour pallets/vibes” and rolling with it, so I hope it turned out okay, I have no reasonable explanation to why their in this scenario except for “I thought it’d be cool and I said so” so hope y’all like it :]
May or may not have decided to draw all of blue team as the sailors from sailor moon... whoops :/
Okay so I was thinking about the but in cannon where Tucker dances on the guys they just defeated, particularly the "where'd he learn how to dance?" Bit, because yeah actually, where did he learn how to do that?
He'd have to have a lot of free time, where he had nothing better to do, and where no one would bother to check what one of thier solders were up to. Sound familiar?
And then I was remembering the Tuckers rock stuff that happened back in Blood Gulch, especially Tex telling him he should be very ashamed. And yes, logically I know what that was trying to imply, but I can't get the idea of Tex spying on him behind the rock, expecting to see somthing she'd rather not, and then finding that he's just practicing some very bad dance moves back there out of my head. So I drew it :]

I think by the end of Tuckers arch they’d be the ultimate duo of making fun of church, also they’re my two favourite characters therefore they must be friends lol (ps like two seconds after this theoretically takes place they get into a scrap fight)
Thought too hard about Agent Texas again ( I couldn’t decide between the no snow or either snow versions so here’s both)
There isn’t much context to this, I just like the aesthetics of side winder and have been thinking about my usual face canon for her, and this was very fun background practice :]
