OK!!!! so we all know jinx shows clear signs of ASD in arcane such as sensory seeking (listening to loud music, fascinated by explosions, surrounded by bright colours), taking sayings literally (when Chuck said sevika did a number on someone and she asked which number), obsessing over topics/special interests (science/engineering), ECT so shes real obvious however Catra having autism isnt

Recently psychologists are favouring seeing autism as a wheel like this where different people have varying levels of each symptoms. If you look at Catras behavior throughout the show, what shes most likely doing is a whole lot of masking as a protective measure. Still, we see high anxiety and black and white thinking which I honestly think is her bipolar disorder symptoms but because I like to project

Heres what I reckon catras looks like. Shes got sensory issues real bad and she leans towards beige foods. People usually take her tone as rude even if she thinks shes talking casually, which just makes her not want to talk to any new people which makes her anxiety worse

Heres jinxs. Like I said with Catra, i do think some of the symptoms are her BPD and not the autism but if the test asks imma answer idk (the abnormal speech thing should be switched for them not sure what happened there anyways)

But, you've come to find the taste of tobacco and booze on her tongue pretty alluring.

Acts like a tsundere almost. Will act like you bother her, like she's irritated at any attention you give her but inside she secretly enjoys it.

Okay, she actually loves it.

She loves having someone dote on her.

Someone to clean her wounds. Someone who genuinely cares that she comes home safe. That she lives.

And, now in any fight she gets in, all she sees in her mind is you.

Your smile. Your kindness. Your good heart. How she has to live to see you again. Live to keep you safe.

Sevika loves when you beg. She loves the way your bottom lip downturns when you pout.

She likes you needy. Needy for her touch.

Will never say she's sorry in any argument, even when she's in the wrong.

But, after giving you hours of silent treatment, she'll come home and pick you up in her large, dark arms and throw you on the bed.

Her "sorry" will be to make the whole night about you and send you into ecstasy.

Will probably never tell you she loves you outwardly.

Sevika's love language is physical. She will protect you. Fight through all of hell for you. Die for you. But, say those three little words to your face? She'd rather lose her other arm, too.

But, in the early hours of the morning when you're curled up between her caramel colored, muscular arm and the cold metal prosthetic, when she thinks you're asleep, something out of character occurs.

Sevika will actually cuddle you. Her warm, human hand, which is so often rough, will trace the curves of your body. Will tuck a loose strand of hair behind your ear.

In her husky, deep voice she will whisper her affections to you. She'll say it into your skin as she kisses your neck and pulls you even closer into her toned chest.

You will never, ever tell her that you're secretly awake during those rare, tender moments.

Just knowing how loving and romantic she can be, when she thinks you can't hear her, is enough. It melts your heart.

Sevika has a rock hard exterior, damn near bulletproof even but deep, deep down, you've made her soft and her heart is all yours.

You’ve been crushing on Vi for a long time, like a long time.

She’s felt the same way about you too for about just as long, maybe a bit longer.

After weeks of mustering up the courage to ask her out, you finally do it,

Except she asks you out first.

You obviously say yes.

Later that night she comes to your door. She doesn’t have any flowers or anything because fancy isn’t exactly her style.

But she does greet you with a kiss on the cheek which is just as good, better even.

The undercity air isn’t the cleanest, but it’s okay because you have a mask.

Most of the date involves the both of you trying drinks at The Last Drop, but you don’t get anything too strong.

You guys joke around and flirt a lot.

It’s just a really fun time.

After that, she walks you home and holds your hand.

Her hands are warm and rough, but that’s not a complaint.

You’ve wanted to hold Vi’s hand for the longest time, so you really don’t mind how soft or rough they are.

“So... wanna do this again sometime?” she asks, almost unsure as to whether or not you enjoyed yourself as well.

With the most reassuring smile she’d ever seen, you answer, “I’d love to. I’ll see you around, Vi.”

She smiles and pulls you in for a quick kiss, leaving you awestruck at your doorstep. “See ya, cupcake,” she winks.

Christmas With Vi: An Arcane Headcanon

The past week was pretty exhausting, since you guys waited until about last minute to go Christmas shopping.

You strung up some basic Christmas lights together, which aren’t Vi’s favorite but it’s the least you could do.

She helped you put up a little tree as well.

You two bake and decorate a cute batch of cookies of various shapes.

She hasn’t properly celebrated Christmas in a long time, so it’d probably take some time for her to get used to all the nice, cozy festivities.

She does spoil the hell out of you though with gifts, though.

Like, more than half of the gifts under the tree are for you.

You feel bad, but you also got her a bunch of presents.

She’s not used to receiving so many gifts on Christmas, but she’s really grateful and gives you a big hug

Christmas With Jinx: An Arcane Headcanon

Christmas is definitely one of, if not Jinx’s favorite, holiday.

She takes a small break from crafting bombs to put together over the top Christmas decorations.

She’s always excited for whatever surprises you get for her.

She’s, without a doubt, like that one kid who wakes everyone up on Christmas morning so you all can just get to opening presents.

She likes giving out presents too, but the gifts she received from Silco in the past were the best, so she’s really, really excited about getting them.

You had made her a bunch of little bombs and also got her some trinkets and crafting supplies for her gifts.

She’s ecstatic over it, of course. “Aww, you made these yourself? They’re so tiny and cute! I wonder how big the explosions are...”

Definitely calls you over at random times to places with mistletoe hung over them just to kiss you

Jinx x Introverted Reader Headcanons

For starters, Jinx really enjoys talking to people. She has to talk to people, it's kinda her thing.

You, on the other hand, prefer being alone. You don't really like it when random people come up to you while you're enjoying your personal space.

So, when you run into Jinx in the streets of the Undercity, she takes the initiative to strike up a conversation with you and you have no idea how to feel.

On one hand, she's invaded your space. You walked into this alley for the mere purpose of being alone and now that point is kind of useless.

On the other hand, she's cute, pretty, and you'd often be judged for thinking such ways about who's deemed as a psychotic criminal, a loose cannon, but you can't exactly hate her, can you?

"Hey. Heeeey. You there, toots?" she calls to you, whose mind is still wandering somewhere else.

You look to her and nod wordlessly, signaling her to continue.

"What're you doing all alone? Don't you have things to do with your day?"

"Not really. I just prefer to keep to myself most of the time, that's all."

"Hmm. Well," she thinks, slowly stepping closer, "you wouldn't mind if I sat here, right?"

You think for a moment, but before you can answer, she's already sitting in front of you with her legs crossed.

She talks to you a lot, going on multiple tangents about all the crimes she's committed adventures she's been on. You don't talk too much, not at all if we're being honest, but you listen to every single word.

As she goes on, you slowly begin to lose focus, watching her eyes light up whenever she tells you about an accomplishment that she's proud of. Her voice is raspy, yet so fun to listen to. She smiles so frequently throughout the "conversation" that you've probably smiled a few times as well.

It almost hurts to see her walk away after a while; no, it does hurt. It really hurts.

You hope you'll stumble across each other again soon, and maybe, just maybe, you'll share a few things about yourself with her, too.

When Jinx is Sick:

Delirious, VERY delirious

A lot of hallucinations, like more than usual

Photosensitive me too bestie

She'll ask you to stay with her while she rests

Asks for a lot of pillows too

Keeps refusing to stay hydrated and take medicine (she eventually does though after you insist over and over)

She tosses and turns a lot when trying to sleep, moaning in pain here and there and mumbling to herself if she does fall asleep. You'd normally wake her from nightmares, but she needs the rest, so you scoop her up into your arms and hold her close.

She relaxes almost immediately and cuddles into the warmth of your chest.

When You're Sick:

Prepare to be spoiled

You're lying half-asleep on your mattress while Jinx launches several pillows and stuffed animals at you

You feel like death but she's super cute so it's fine

Frequent checkups

"Do you need juice? Water? You should drink something, trinket."

"You haven't eaten much today, I'll go cook you something!"

She's not the best cook ever but she tries and that's all that matters

Sits with you for almost the entire time, tinkering with bombs and other inventions but more-so paying attention to you, checking for any temperature changes or more symptoms

So, so many forehead kisses even though you tell her you're sick and don't wanna get her sick

It's whatever, though. You feel miserable and she wants to give her partner some love, is that so bad?
