I WANT JINX TO NOD AND SCOFF AND TELL HER TO USE PROTECTION OR SOMETHING STUPID LIKE THAT. I WANT THEM TO BE SISTERS. I WANT THEM TO BE FAMILY. I WANT THEM TO BE SAFE. I WANT VI TO TELL JINX THAT SHE’LL CALL HER WHATEVER SHE PREFERS BUT MAKE SURE SHE KNOWS THAT SHE NEVER SHOULD HAVE SAID WHAT SHE SAID. AND TELL HER THAT SHELL LOVE HER IF SHES POWDER OR JINX OR SOMETHING ELSE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I WANT JINX TO TELL VI THAT SHE JUST WANTED HER SISTER. I WANT JINX TO TELL VI THAT SHE KNOWS SHE WAS DOING HER BEST AND THAT SHE WAS JUST A KID WHO HAD TO GROW UP TOO FAST. I WANT THEM TO HELP EACH OTHER. I WANT THEM TO GROW TOGETHER. I WANT THEM TO BE HAPPY AND TO BE A FAMILY AND I WANT THEM TO BE ABLE TO JOKE WITH EACH OTHER AND TO LAUGH AND TO CRY AND TO FORGIVE.

Gus and Jinx: A Story of Two Prodigies

If there is something that I could notice is that thanks to Labyrinth Runners I noticed that Gus has some similarities with Jinx from Arcane.

They are both considered prodigies despite how young they’re (Gus is a prodigy with illusion magic and Jinx is a talented inventor and mechanic).

They both have so many insecurities about themselves that they even doubt the perception of their reality and their ability to trust others, believing that people will betray them at the slightest opportunity.

However, Gus has positive and healthy support from his friends who value him for who he is and genuinely care about him and don't want to take advantage of him

while Jinx never had a healthy support system so her paranoia doesn't stop to grow and ends up harming herself

and those around her.

It's pretty scary and sad to think that Gus could have ended up as Jinx if he hadn't had friends who really appreciate him for who he is regardless of his talent.

I can't help but think of Caleb and Phillip's relationship as a cross between Vi and Jinx from Arcane and Yor and Yuri from Spy X Family.

Which isn't a lot, but it's just weird that it happened three times you know.

I like to think that Ekko was able to “get over” Powder (meaning not talk about her 24/7) over the past few years; but then the bridge scene happened and all that progress went poof, like Jinx’s sanity.
