BG3 Tarot Update!
12 people so far have responded to the form- tysm!! Those who prompted in for the tag list I will begin that soon, but for now I'm gonna just post this update.

I've began working on both The Lovers card (aylin x isobel) along with The High Priestess (selunite shadowheart). Finalized designs will be posted once done and the designs will probably be fixed slightly before I release the entire deck, which will take a VERY long time btw.

First off, another huge thanks to the people who responded to my form!
Back Design:
The decision of the gold + purple was reinforced through the responses with over 50% of responses voting for it.
There was also some helpful feedback given too, I really appreciate it! I'll likely tweak some colors and the center design slightly and post it on the next update
Frame Design
Complex won by far, and I totally agree. This is pretty much final with a bit of room for color and symbol tweaks for consistency between the back and front of cards. Lots of great feedback on this once again, thanks!
Major Arcana line up!
This is probably the biggest decision for this project, and the lineup two won in the polls with 66.7% voting for it. So, what does those mean? It means that as I shuffle around the minor arcana placements a bit (which are set but not finalized or released) I'm now able to provide more diversity of characters in the cards. Minor arcana will be the next big poll, stay tuned!

Lastly...how will these decks turn to physical form?
I've done lots of thinking on this, and once more, this info is not final! Due to my distrust and/or lack of funds for the several large manufacturers I have looked into, I will likely make the decks by hand and sell them on my etsy. I've found several methods that which i am yet to test in the upcoming months that would ideally make a high quality and similar product to if I followed through with a large manufacturer such as mpc. Pros to this would be I can better manage the quality and design of this, and it may actually be more cost wise for me while still making a good product. Cons, it's extremely time consuming. This means I'll probably have to make smaller batches to sell than I would with a manufacturer and have them be spaced out, along with opening my shop over the summer as I have no time otherwise (I am a student)
Anyways, my main worry is the designs right now. More updates on this later :))

So this didn’t happen. I in fact continued to play I have a problem.
I need to break up with bg3. I have an addiction and I hear admitting it is the first step.
As a side note I have started working out and was hoping to ask how much the boys weight.
These two things are not correlated. I swear…
I’ve been obsessed with Baldurs Gate 3 for so long that every time I can’t play it for a weekend I become twitchy like a fucking addict. I yearn. I need the gate!! These little photos and cut scenes can only satisfy for so long before I go feral!!!!
I really hope that they change the way to get Minthara, like I've seen so much about her that makes me love her but not enough to sacrifice the tieflings and literally half of the other companions
So I do have a mod that allows getting minthara on the good route of the game, now the question is should I add her into my story as another friend. I'd have to play through act 2 and 3 again to see her lines first but I was planning on that anyway
So question, with minthara, can you make her more...good-ish? Like I know she's a drow and fairly ruthless but I did the mod where you can recruit her after saving the grove and she was talking about how she hates the absolute and wants revenge for it targeting innocents. This confused me cuz she is supposed to be the "evil" character who supports the absolute.
Also if she continues this way, I 100% believe that she should have been the act 2 companion and not halsin. She fits in with the theme of escaping the cycles of abuse where he doesn't (granted I didn't play with him so he might)
I'll die on this hill (and will probably get hate for this), Minthara should have been the Act 2 companion for all paths instead of Halsin. He really doesn't fit in the overarching story of breaking the cycle of abuse. He's just there cuz gamers were horny for him. I'm not saying he shouldn't have been romancable, but he should have been an NPC same with Jaheira and Minsc (granted my opinion may be different had I played 1 and 2). Minthara just fits better into the story imo especially with her ties to the absolute and the chosen 3
Edit for clarity: I absolutely do not hate Halsin nor do I think he's a bad character. I just felt he'd work more as an exposition character that stayed in camp. Still think Minthara should have been a main line companion tho. Maybe they could change it so players get both.
Another headcanon post but this time for jobs the party would have in different situations. (It'll make sense in a minute)
Lae’zel (if the gith were nonmilitaristic/ she was literally any other race): a florist/gardener. In game she loves to point out the beauty and majesty of nature (then say something bad cuz girly is the worst at expressing herself) not to say she wouldn't still like fighting but I think had she even able to grow from a child without that stict culture she'd be softer
Gale: a professor. Had he not gotten the orb/ gotten involved with mystra. He's just so passionate about magic and teaching that he'd be perfect as an instructor for both children and adults.
Shadowheart: a rancher. Had Shar not been a dick and kidnapped her. I see her and her parents opening a ranch where they could raise animals and care for abandoned ones. She in canon loves animals and in her good ending wants to live away with tons.
Wyll: as I said in a previous post, a writer/adventurer. Homie is a poet at heart and could spread such positive messages had he not gotten involved with Mizora or the cult of tiamat's shenanigans.
Karlach: tavern owner. Had she not met gortash. I don't remember where I saw it but swear I've seen post that say she in canon wanted to open a pub, but I think it fits her personality well. She so open and personable that she'd be great at it.
Astarion: a politician/duke. Had he not been turned or captured by cazador. I can really see him rising the ranks of politics (either for good or not) he's just so charismatic and suave that you can't not love him. He said he was a magistrate before he was bitten too (but who knows if that's true, I think it is tho)
Halsin: a woodworker/ craftsman. Had he not become a druid and the shadow cursed not happened. I can see him just living in the woods near Reithwin whittling away chatting with Thaniel and nurturing the animals with the money he makes helping the town.
Minthara: Drow Matron. Had the cult not gotten her. She is the one I see changing the least. She's so confident in who she is and her ideals, she'd easily claw her way to the top of Menzoberranzan culture.
Is it worth it to romance post patch 5 Minthara? I really want to cuz I enjoy her character but it's so hard to get her approval up, she just keeps disliking everything I do so I'm stuck at neutral.

guys i love bill seacaster so much and he's one of my favourite characters! i don't really care that he was a bad father to fabian because, and i know this will come as a shock to a lot of you, he's fictional
Minthara + Astarion banter has been great so far. The Astarion voice actor's delivery has been incredible, especially when Minthara sounds like fem Nigel Thornberry. Really impressive work.
