Aro gives you garnets.

Cold lips kiss your neck as your heart flutters, then sweet sound of it exciting the king in ways he cannot describe. You love him! You adore him!

And he can never thank you enough for such a glorious gift!

One day your heart will by silent and you will be as lovely as he is…but for now you are a mere mortal and he is content with spoiling you. Perhaps, he hopes, these gems might be pleasing and (they are certainly pretty). Gold and garnets glitter against your skin as Aro kisses you again and again. Sighing beneath his touch, you close your eyes and kiss him too, the sweet summer of your flesh meeting the winter of his own form…no, it can never be enough.

“Oh, it’s lovely, Aro!”

Your love is a far greater gift then glitter gold and pretty gems and he can never thank you enough for loving him as he does you. But he’ll spoil you still, dressing you like the queen you are, and loving you like lovers do:

Caius gives you diamonds.

If one believes that the brutal king does not have a softness to him, they would be terribly wrong. You alone are his softness and the love he feels for you is his sole redeeming quality.

There is nothing to compare to your beauty, your wit, your love!

But diamonds are quite pretty and they look even prettier on you.

Picking what you like from the seller’s wares, Caius drenches you in silver and jewels and dresses you like a queen…his queen! No one else will know this, but the diamonds draped around your neck is proof of some softness of his. Kissing your hand sweetly, Caius walks with you through the castle, smiling at the sight of his dear queen.

Diamonds around your neck, roses in your hair, and his kiss upon your lips.

“Caius…”

Upon his throne, he is a cruel creature, showing no mercy to the quivering monsters at his feet. But in the privacy of his quarters, Caius will pull you onto his lap and show the sweetness that no one else has ever (or will ever) see. You’re whispering sweet things in his ear, lips nipping at naked skin as Caius sighs beneath your touch. The light catches the diamonds wrapped around and the sight makes him grin as you glitter like a queen.

His queen.

Marcus gives you pearls.

Years ago, in a moment of intense depression and loneliness, he had bought to rope of pearls…though he had not understood why.

Why did he want them?

He had no one to share this gift with, no one to love and dress in pearls and lace…he has nothing. Nothing. But still he kept the pearls, taking them out every so often to look at them and imagine…what would they look like wrapped around a pretty neck? How lovely would it be to place them around his lover?

Now he does not need to imagine.

“Catch me if you can, love!”

Marcus is smiling brightly at the sight of you, oh, how perfect you are! Dancing through the sunlit garden, your lover is chasing you between the roses and lilies, pale hands reaching out to grasp your waist and pull you into him. Laughter ripples through the air as Marcus kisses the sweetness of your neck, cold lips trialing along your skin until he meets the pearls.

Perfect and beautiful, just like you.

Pulling you away to a shady corner of the gardens, Marcus will worship you as the lovely goddess you are, glowing and glittering and drenched in pearls, as you though you had risen from the sea in splendor.

Felix gives you rubies.

They’re bloody and pretty and, oh, how lovely they look upon your skin! Red is his preferred color and he loves to drench you in bloody, bloody red.

For years, he has worn a ruby ring on his left middle finger.

And once he finds you (his lover, his darling, his mate!), he has a matching set made: a necklace, a ring, and a set of earrings. The excitement he feels when he finally gives you the gifts is wonderful, the massive vampire handing you the set of velvet boxes.

“Oh, Felix~”

Cold hands caress your skin as he dresses you in jewels. The necklace rests upon your neck and fixes the ring on your finger, kissing your hand as he does. You sigh sweetly beneath his touch as icy kisses move up, up, up your arm and along your neck. Still so warm in his embrace, Felix kisses the pulsing beat beneath your skin.

The world is silent tonight, there is only you and your undead lover.

And it will remain that way until morning light, Felix adoring you all through the night. Everything else will come off expect for those rubies, blood red gems the only thing left on your beauteous form.

Heidi gives you anything from her collection.

Over the centuries, Heidi has gathered a massive collection of earrings, necklaces, chokers, rings, bracelets, and more. There are diamonds and pearls and emeralds and sapphires, opals and rubies and topaz!

And you may have them all!

She loves to dress you up in glittering gold and silvers and a sparkling array of gems. They are lovely, yes, but she insists that nothing could be as lovely as you…especially like this.

“My love…”

Laying nude upon the silk sheets, your body is adorned by only her jewels, diamonds and pearls glittering all over your supple form. Bracelets and rings adorn your arms and hands, a shimmering rope wrapped around your neck and dripping down your chest. The sight of you is something godly, like a gift sent from the heavens above.

But even prettier are the kisses she gives you, lipstick staining your skin as Heidi makes her way to your lips and takes what is rightfully hers.

Santiago gives you sapphires.

While black, gray, and red are popular colors in the Volturi, Santiago has always preferred shades of blue. He likes the summer sky and starry nights, oceans and forget-me-nots and blue moons.

And he likes it all the more on you.

When he first found you and realized who you were to him (his one and only, his dream come true), Santiago had a gift made for you in hopes that you would one day wear it for him. And when you agreed to come away with him and become his for all of eternity, he gave it to you. Wearing it at this very moment, Santiago cannot take his eyes off of you.

The sapphires cover your skin like deep blue tears, looking so lovely.

Taking your hand in his, he pulls you into his embrace and begins to kiss the cold skin of your neck. It was there, Santiago recalls, that he had bitten you, venom still scarring the crook of your neck. He kisses the wound and grins as you sigh, hands running along his back.

“Santiago…”

He could listen to you say that for all of eternity!

Alec gives you his heart.

You convince him to attend a festival with you, the two of you sneaking out of the castle and into the city. In the darkness of the night, you dance and play, no different than any lovers dancing through Volterra…and then he sees it.

It’s a pretty thing, a red heart that glows when you touch it just so.

He wins it for your easily (though is sure to throw a loss or two in order to blend in a bit better, the both of you are already stealing too much attention) and clasps it around your neck as you smile.

“I love it!”

You kiss him sweetly and, since that night, you’ve worn it always. Sometimes Alec presses it just to see it light up because when it does, you light up too, giggling and kissing him all over again as he sighs in delight.

Eternity was never so sweet as it has been with you.

Over time, Alec will bring you many gifts (he likes to spoil you) but this will always remain his very favorite and one of his fondest memories.

Jane gives you a locket.

There are two of them, identical necklaces that she has made for the both of you. Within her own is a photograph of you and a tiny little daisy (the one you gave to her when you first met, pressed long ago). Yours shares the same photograph and a little bit of lace, ripped from the dress she had worn when you ran away together.

It’s very sweet but then again, so is she.

Though very few people will ever truly come to know Jane for who she is, you will be one of the few that know just how gentle and wonderful she cane be.

The silver heart is proof of such.

Every morning they both of you get ready together, Jane’s nightdress tossed over a chair as you brush her hair, her laying out your clothes for the day. And everyday you each place the necklace around the other’s throat, Jane stealing a kiss from your neck as she does.

“Janie!”

And you’re laughing, playing with her hair as you greet the sun together with kisses and dappled light and love.

I know this blog is for Vladimir and Stefan But I couldn't keep this only for myself.

The first time Athenodora told you something about her personal life was a rainy day in Volterra and the two of you decided to wear cute raincoats and boats and go for a walk around the city, Felix and Demetri following shortly after you.

When the two of you approached the park, somehow the conversation got deeper in the blink of an eye. "There has been actually one time when I got scared by Caius's reaction, though it was a long time ago." She stated and you motioned her to continue. "In the middle ages, many ancient Greek statues got destroyed because the bronze they were made of was very useful and needed at the time, for weapons, mostly. I never understood how they were able to destroy something so elegant and pure to make something so shameful.". Athenodora played a little with her hair, twisting and curling it with her pale fingers. "When they destroyed the last standing statue of Policletus, I got angry. I couldn't confront those who had destroyed the statue because they were for a powerful coven. One day I was crying in the library when Caius found me. From the moment he saw my tears, I could see and feel rage growing inside of him. I told him the whole story, and then the following day he left with Aro by his side. they returned one month later, the coven who had destroyed the statue had been slaughtered.".

You were speechless. Of course you had already understood that Caius was full of anger and potentially a very dangerous being, but you never thought he could be triggered by such a little matter.

You looked at Athenodora, who was shaking a little bit. "Hey, Dora, as you said they were a powerful coven, you would have conquered then anyway". She smiled a little and turned her head towards you. "Maybe not as violently as Caius and Aro did in the end". You shrugged. "There's no point in "maybes" and "ifs", Dora".

"It was the first time I got scared by Caius's reaction". She confessed. "He did it because you were hurt, it's understandable" you responded, and she appeared happy with this reply.

"Thank you Y/N, this was a nice talk". You smiled. "Anytime, Dora, anytime".

Interview to Felix Volturi

[Warning: this has some personal headcanons. Felix happens to be in a relationship with Demetri, for example. It’s not canon, I know. Be warned]

1.  What are three labels that you identify with?

Er, modern societies dig labels, don’t they? If I had to put three labels on myself they would probably be gym guy, guard and LGBTQI* community. Kinda. [laughs]

2.What is your happiest memory?

Probably getting into the guard and feeling that I had found a family. I love them all. 

3. Tell us the story of your first kiss.

Is Demetri around? I don’t want him to hear this one! [laughs] I gave my first kiss when I was about ten, possibly eleven, to a, uh, a girl [laughs] that lived next door. So embarrassing. 

4. Do you think aliens exist?

Alec and I actually hava had this argument going on for months! I personally think they don’t. 

5. What’s your favourite thing about yourself?

My muscle, of course! 

6. Do you have any superpower? 

Well, if you consider tearing arms and legs and heads off, a power...

7.  What is your favorite physical feature of Demetri?

Probably him being slim but very very in good shape. Oh, and his collarbone! I just love it. And his hair, too, amazingly soft. 

8.  What kind of arts do you like?

Well, in terms of movies I like war ones, mainly, Some sci-fi as well. I also love Quentin Tarantino. Jane recently made me watch some Tim Burton’s movie, I was unimpressed but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. 

I love music, a lot. I like every type of music, because there are different occasions for different music types. What I’m out partying with the others I like Tylor Swift and Katy Perry but when Demetri and I have a serious date night we go to the Opera theater and I’m happy all the same.

I tend to read only books about History, even if rarely I read some novels.

Recently also Heide got me a camera and I’m starting to understand how to use it. We’ll see. 

9.  Which three guests would you have dinner with, alive or dead?

Demetri and I have actually decided something of this kind. We would like to dine with Elagabalus,  Nietzsche and Amun.

Amun? Why Amun?

Just to have fun seeing him getting all agry, I guess. [laughs].

10. So I’ve asked your friends to say what they think about you and I’m gonna read you the answers. 

Heide said: “Felix is a great guy. A bit of a dickhead, but still he’s always down to help anyone with anything and also he has a big heart, even if he doesn’t show it much”.

 (Felix) She’s so cool.

Alec said: “I like Felix because he’s the only one with whom I can talk nonsense. He’s a great listener and I think of him as a somehow philosopher.”

(Felix) This kid’s sweet but I’m no philosopher [laughs].

Jane said.: “I think Felix is one of the most friendly people I know. Like, he even watched The nightmare before Christmas with me and didn’t complain about it! Like, he’s often willing to do things for others. He’s good, but he needs to stop pulling pranks on me with the help of my brother or otherwise I’ll -”

(Felix) I love her! [laughs] Alec and I actually live for pranks and yeah, sometimes we choose the wrong target, let’s put it this way [laughs].

And finally Demetri said: “Felix is the love of my life. I mean, it’s obvious I adore him, right? I wouldn’t be able to tell why he’s so great, I mean I would never finish the list of his virtues. He’s just the most amazing person I know [wipes tear].”

(Felix) I love him so much. [smiles]

26. You’re holding back (Romanian Coven fan fiction)

Vladimir stares blankly in the fire in front of him; he normally would be afraid of being all alone in the deep woods, but in this moment he doesn’t really care, and he’s not alone. Stefan has proven himself the bravest of the pair, for merely some hours prior he managed to escape the battlefield with his friend, who was and still is numb. The blond continues to stare, indifferent to his friend’s sighs and worried glances. Stefan looks down to his ripped jacket and he sees that also the coven’s seal has been ruined. He tries to put it back together, but he can’t. Deep inside of him, he knows fully well that it is not only the seal’s fate, but also the coven’s.  How could it ever be repaired? Most of his coven mates have been killed; without them, what use is a new coven? He gets up and starts to walk away from the fire, but Vladimir notices this and immediately gets worried. “You’re not leaving, I’m confident you know that” he simply says. Stefan looks at him, but he can’t find his brave friend anywhere. He nods and he sits again.Some days pass by, and yet Vladimir remains silent. On the third day, Stefan loses his cool and, when they stop to camp on a clearing, he just lashes out. He goes on and on about how the battle would and could have been won, how everyone in their coven had been an idiot and lastly how he felt like no longer had a purpose or a reason to stay alive. Vladimir still stares blankly at him. He nods and put a hand on Stefan’s shoulder, then gets back to prepare for camping. Stefan is outraged at this point and he cannot believe his friend is behaving this way. He calms himself down, he needs to be tactful to the one man left he cares for. “You are holding back, Vladimir” he tells him. The blond sighs; “Maybe” he replies “but what use would It be to lash out like you did? They are not coming back, no matter how loud I scream or how violently I cry, Stefan. We are the last of our kind, my friend, and it is up to us to maintain its legacy. So yes, I am holding back my rage and my strength for when we will face our enemies again”. Stefan stares at him and realizes he is right, only to start crying. Vladimir immediately hugs him, and soon both of them are shedding tears. They do not know what lies ahead of them, nor if they will ever find happiness again, but in this moment when they embrace one another, they couldn’t feel safer.

More Felix-was-a-gladiator headcanons

So, lots of powerful Romans had gladiators accompany them whenever they went out and about, especially in Rome, for protection. This modus operandi was especially popular at the time Ceasar died, so at the end of the Republic.

Just picture Felix as a gladiator working for a very influential and powerful Roman. He would be his bodyguard, following him everywhere.

The Roman our favorite man works for is very pleased with him and treats him better than all of his other slaves, who hate Felix for it.

One day, while the lord is strolling through the city with his family, they come across a very handsome man with a weird smile yet a very alluring personality.

Yes I'm talking about Aro. He takes one look at Felix and he's like: "Gotta have this strong boi™ all for myself".

At first Aro plans to do something grand, like killing the humans to leave Felix unprotected, but he decides against it.

When Felix's lord makes some comment about how Aro looks like he doesn't belong in Rome, Aro gently smiles and replies: "Seems like I'm not the only one who's not where they belong" and smirks at Felix.

Felix spends the following days trying to figure out what that weird man meant, until on the third night Aro shows up, all alone, to talk to him.

Felix is very confused as to why a powerful lord such as Aro would sneak in another's lord house to talk to a slave. Now that they're in the darkness he notices Aro's bright red eyes.

He's taken aback, each and every of his muscle is tense and ready for the action.

Aro smiles at him and answers his questions. He then leaves and promises to be back in six days' time, to see if he's ready to accept being turned. Aro hopes Felix will join his coven, but since this all happens before Heidi, all he can do is hope.

During those six days, Felix ponders about his life. He's a slave, a loved one for sure, but a slave nonetheless. It doesn't take him much time to realize he wants to join Aro.

Aro comes back and when he sees that Felix collected his items into one traveling bag, he smiles broadly.

The Volturi guard + pets

Demetri likes cats. They're elegant just like he is and can be left alone while he's on a mission.

When he doesn't have company, he likes to take it slow and relax, especially when the cat is purring or sleeping in a cute position.

He spray or neuter each and every cat he owns because once kittens wreaked havoc in his walk-in closet and it's NOT happening again.

He would hire someone to feed the cat while he's on missions and to clean the litter box, because there is no way Demetri would do that himself.

He likes rare breeds and would go to a great distance to find the perfect cat.

Felix likes big, fluffy dogs. Anything smaller makes him worry he's going to accidentally hurt them.

He likes to take long walks with his dog, and sometimes he brings along Demetri, with whom he plays a very unfair game of hide and seek, or Alec, because the kid needs a break from all the drama going in in the castle.

Every time a dog of his dies, Felix mourn and claims he doesn't want to even look at a dog anymore. 30 years later, Demetri and Heidi bring him to a local shelter and our big guy inevitably falls in love with a new pup.

The twins take care of the fish in the pond, feeding them with extreme attention. They get mad at anyone who dares throw something like stale bread at those lovely creatures (why do vampires have stale bread anyway?).

They also love bigger animals and Caius got them two lovely horses.

Alec's horse is black and tall. He loves going on rides for entire days, maybe even a week or two if the masters allow.

Jane's mare is white and extremely sweet. Jane likes taking care of her and she takes hours at a time, brushing her and braiding her tail.

Jane is obviously unaware of this, but Caius got her that horse hoping that she would benefit from taking care of another being and it did. So you could say that Jane is doing pet therapy.

They love going on short rides together. After all, who wouldn't enjoy Tuscany while on horseback?

Renata has lots of hamsters. She bought only three. It's out of control now and soon the castle will be full or rodents.

Heidi doesn't like the idea of another being depending on her, but she occasionally buys bread to feed the lovely birds outside of her window.

Corin has tried multiple time to lure the squirrels at the park into the castle. A mission unsuccessful to this day.

Even though he's not supposed to, Afton has a snake in his room. He knows he's not allowed to (since one high-ranking member of the guard is scared, nay terrified of them) so he uses his power on it.

Semi-silly Demetri headcanons

He is scared of snakes. You can only imagine how awful it was while he was living with Amun in Egypt.

He is constantly worried that he smells bad. He showers twice a day and scrubs his skin so vigorously that he almost irritates it. People joke that they can find him following his scent; he laughs but he's truly happy. Felix is the only one who knows that at the lowest point of his human life, Demetri couldn't stand the smell of his family's house -he comes from a very poor family.

His conquests are immediately drawn and open to him, they like to tell him things they never told anyone else. He's more closed and doesn't share a single personal thing. He likes to bathe with his favorite partners, those with whom he feels a deep connection; with them he feels free. Only Felix and Heidi made it to his bathtub.

Always lets Felix choose the name of his pets because of a lost bet a few centuries ago.

Doesn't allow anyone to borrow his clothes because he's secretly worried that they would suit other people better.

Always has to go to Felix or Alec for help when he tries to use technology.

He's banned from game night because he's too easily irratated when playing board games.

Silly AU #2

Imagine if Felix and Demetri got together.

They secretly had a hand-fasting ritual, but they never speak openly about it because they fear that other people could use this information against them (after all, they work for the most dangerous and known coven in the whole world).

They are the ultimate power couple.

Heidi is jealous at first, but slowly she warms up to the idea and is supportive of them.

The masters always pair them up for missions because they know that they work better together.

They live by the rule "never go to bed angry at your spouse". They have different views on certain topic so sometimes they have their bickering thing going on. Demetri plays the offended man but when Felix walks up to him and wraps his arms around him, he melts into the hug and murmurs apologetic words.

I need someone to share my feelings for this ship with

Silly headcanon: Marcus wears Hawaiian shirts regularly, and often pairs them with cardigans. Demetri cannot bear to look at him.

"God fucking dammit!" the string of profanities broke the quiet calm of the evening. Felix had been reading in his and Demetri's shared room when the door suddenly flew open, slamming against the wall. Demetri stood there, a very aggravated expression on his face. Felix looked up from his book, noticing how mad Dem looked. "Hey, what happened? Come here." he said softly, putting his book down.

Demetri shook his head no, and removed his cloak, carelessly tossing it aside. He was still super pissed, and had good reason to be. He had been sent on a mission by Aro to hunt down a rogue nomad who had been on a murder spree in Portland. He had almost caught up to her, but lost track of her scent halfway through to Seattle. All he could smell was the scent of those annoying wolves the entire Coven had come across last year.

Their stink overpowered the scent of the nomad, effectively ending Demetri's hunt. He hadn't failed a mission like that in a very, very long time. Not since about 50 years ago. He had felt the guilt then, too... just not as bad as he did this time. This time, there was sure to be no forgiveness from Caius.

He ran a hand through his hair, letting another expletive leave his mouth. Felix walked over to Dem, pulling him close. "Hey. You wanna tell me what happened? Why I see clouds and no sun?" he murmured. "I had her. I fucking had her! And then I just... lost her. Those stupid wolves made me lose focus. It's nearly impossible to track someone down with their stink all over the place! God, this is so fucking irritating, Felix!" Demetri growled.

Felix pulled Demetri closer, embracing him in a hug. "Hey. It's not the first time this has happened, though. We all make mistakes, Dem. We can't all be perfect." he reassured him. Demetri's face scrunched up in frustration again, and he let out an exasperated sigh. "See, but that right there is the problem. Caius, man... He expects all of us, including you, to be perfect fucking saints all the time, no mistakes." he muttered.

A low chuckle came from Felix, followed by a smile. "Trust me, Dem. We're not even close to being saints and you know it. You think I'm perfect all the time? I'm their goddamn executioner and even I slip up sometimes! I almost did with that Bree chick. But you know what? It's perfectly fine to screw up every now and then. It's how we learn from it." he said, smiling down at Demetri.

Demetri shrugged, a tiny ghost of a smile on his face. "It just sucks, I guess. Kind of makes me feel like maybe I'm not as good of a Tracker as I used to be." he whispers. Felix gently grabbed Dem's face in his hands, making him look Felix in the eyes. "Hey. Don't you dare talk like that. There's a reason you're still around. It's because you're good. Don't you ever fucking forget that. So a few dogs got in the way... So what? You'll get em' next time, Dem." he said.

The vibe in the room was now a lot less angry, bitter. More... calm, loving. Demetri looked up at Felix, a bit of a bigger smile appearing on his face, his eyes filled with love for the tall man. "Why are you so good to me, Felix?" he murmured, standing on his tiptoes to kiss him. Felix grinned, kissed him back, and pulled back to look at him. "Because you are more than worth it. You're my lost boy, I'm not gonna give that up, are you kidding me? I'm not that stupid." he teased.

Demetri let out a laugh and buried himself in Felix's embrace. "Smart man." was all he said, still grinning to himself. Maybe today wasn't a total loss for him, after all...

Volturi guard + guilty pleasures

Has long bubble baths, for which he uses tons of products. From bath bombs to conditioner, this man spares no expenses when it comes to his personal beauty routine.

He lives for shopping. Like obviously he buys the latest trend of clothes, for his wardrobe is always up to date, but he also likes to buy what cannot be described as nothing else if not "useless stuff". He accumulates so many things that periodically, say every month or two, Felix and Heidi have to help him clear out his rooms. Usually, the majority of the objects gets handed out to someone from the coven.

He flirts with absolutely everyone and anyone just because he can (he necessarily doesn't want to do anything with the people he first with).

On his days off, he never gets out of his pajamas. Why does he even own pajama? To see Demetri's Iconic Eye Roll™.

Whenever he's driving a car, he sings loudly the most obnoxious songs. Sometimes passengers like Jane and Alec join him, but once again Demetri is annoyed.

Basically one of Felix's guilty pleasures is annoying Demetri.

Jane loves people watching. Whenever she's out and about she always take time to sit for a bit and watch the people around her. She's both fascinated and repulsed by the humans, who hurry for no reason at all in her eyes. When Alrc joins her, they comment what they see. Sometimes Alec purposely brings Jane out when she's upset for some reason so that she can let her rage out with mean comments to strangers rather than in the castle.

She loves make up and continues to buy the lasted trend, even if she already owns the equivalent amount of items that can be found in any make up shop. Sometimes, when she's in a good mood, she's accompanied by Demetri during these trips to make up stores.

She loves make up not only on herself but also on other people. Everyone in the castle let her practice on them, from Aro, who usually requests something with an excessive amount of glitter, to Demetri, who totally rocks the basic look of eyeliner and lipstick. Even Alec let's her practice on his face, sitting patiently while she figures out contouring. Felix loves when she finds a particular shade of lipstick, like green or blue.

He loves proving his sister wrong about something.

He sometimes continues to play video-game even after his presence has been requested elsewhere -but he only does this when he's sure there won't be dire consequences.

Likes to watch on to the next episode of a box set, ahead of his viewing partners, Felix and Demetri, who inevitably discover his betrayal and kick him out of Movie Night, only to apologize and let him in not even 5 minutes later.

This is 100% what happened!! Demetri was destroyed when his beautiful locks were ruined, but Heidi did a good job and Felix reassured Demetri for weeks on end, cuddling and playing with his hair for most of the days so that the tracker would get his confidence back

So in the books Demetri is described as having long hair. But what if before the events of New Moon, during when the Volturi were doing the immortal children experiments, an immortal child got a hold of his luscious mane and yanked off a good chunk. And Heidi, who has been dying to get her hair hands on his head, gave him a hair cut.

Chapter Two

Maricela Swan’s POV

I want to get the story moving too but in order to do that we need to look back again because there’s more to the story. I know so much happened in the span of a day I’m still processing it too.

Flashback

Holy shit we’re in Italy. I’ve always wanted to go to Italy but not for these circumstances. Alice, Bella, and I were in a bright yellow car Alice got, driving to go stop Edward from killing himself. Not my first choice for color but that’s not important right now.

“I guess you didn’t rent this car?” Asks Bella as Alice speeds past cars.

“Oh my god you stole a car?! Alice I love you.” I stated with enthusiasm.

Alice let out a small laugh and said, “I figured neither of you would be opposed to grand theft auto.”

I burst out laughing as Bella said, “Not today.”

“I cannot believe you stole a car Alice! What would Dr.Cullen think?” I asked jokingly.

Alice gave me a sad smile and said, “What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.”

She suddenly spaced out again and looked worried

“What? What do you see?” Bella asked worriedly

“They refused him.” Alice states with shock

“So?” Bella egged her on

“He’s going to make a scene. Show himself to the humans.” Alice says grimly

“No. When?” Bell asks

“He’s going to wait until noon, when the sun’s the highest.” Alice says

“Wait how is that going to get him killed?” I asked

"The Volturi have rules set to keep the balance. One of them is to keep our existence a secret from humans." Alice answers for me

"Why did Bella know then?" I asked

"That's a story for another time Alice you got to hurry up." Bella urges

Why did Bella know? I never thought about that until now. I get they have feelings for each other but you would think if humans weren't supposed to know Edward would've stayed away from her.

"There's Volterra." Alice says as my gaze lands on the gorgeous castle in the distance.

Alice speeds up passing by people wearing red cloaks and soon we appear behind a crowd of them.

"Why are they all in red?" Bella asks freaking out

"St. Marcus day festival. They're commemorating the expulsion of vampires from the city." Alice states quickly

I let out a snort at the irony of the situation.

"It's th perfect setting. The Volturi will neve let him get far enough to reveal himself." Alice tries to comfort Bella

"Five minutes!" Bella grunts

"You know Bella, just breath." Alice says trying to calm Bella

"Come on Bella, we'll get there in time. It's okay." I say

We run into cops stopping th car and Bella rushes out.

Turning to Alice and I she calls our names.

"You're the only he can't see coming. He'll read my thoughts and think I'm lying. He'll rush into it." Alice urges Bella to go.

"Where do I go?" Bella asks rushed

"He'll be in the clock tower. Go!" Alice exclaims

Bella runs in the direction she was told too. This is happening. Wow. I stay quiet as Alice talks with the officer too shocked to say anything. I try and keep my eyes on Bella as she runs. What if she gets hurt? What if she doesn't save Edward in time? I don't want her to be hurt anymore then she already was. Would her relationship with Jacob ever return back to normal?

"icela! Maricela!" Alice yells waving a hand in front of my face. I snap out of my thoughts.

"What? What happened?" I asked nervous

"You spaced out. Now come on we have to go with them." Alice says getting out of the car.

I rush out of the car walking as fast as I can to the clock tower without drawing anymore suspicion. We make it to the door but before I can try and open it Alice turns to me.

"Maricela before we go in there I want you to know, don't be scared it's supposed to happen this way. You're going to be okay and happy. It's our only option to get out of here alive." Alice finishes and before I can ask what the fuck she was talking about she broke open the door.

Why won't she answer my questions? What does she mean by "It's our only option"?

"Come on guys, it's a festival. We wouldn't want to make a scene." Alice says with a teasing voice.

I walk in and see two guys with vibrant red eyes look at me. The bigger guy takes my attention first. He's as big as Emmet Cullen but doesn't have the mischievous look in his eyes Emmet has. Emmet and I had a few classes together and when he wasn't staying quiet he was joking around in the back of the room. The other was very handsome. Damn. He stared dead into my eyes with so much intensity that I was worried he would burn holes through my head.

"Enough." I hear a young voice say with foot steps echoing through the hall. A girl comes into view. She's really pretty an looks young, aroun my age but with an innocent face. The way she carries herself says completely different, she moves stiff but with grace and menace. I should stay away from her.

"Jane." Edward says bowing his head.

"Aro sent me to see what's taking so long." the girl, Jane, had replied looking to the two unknown men she stood beside. She looks at all of us and quickly turned and walked down the hallway. Edward, holding Bella, pushed her gently forward and I followed next to Alice.

"Just do as she says." says Alice with a warning tone

Jane lead us to a stair case and turned to wait for us to pass. As Bella and Edward passed though, she cut off Alice and I and walked in front of us. We reach the end of the stair case and I see a pair of elevator doors. The two men behind Alice and I walk ahead of us and open the doors waiting for us to go in. We all gather in the elevator and as the doors close I can feel my heart start to beat faster than eve before. I don't want to die here. I can't leave Charlie without saying goodbye. Edward turns to look at me and smiles slightly, tightening his hold on my sister. The elevator doors open and Jane walks out keeping a steady but rushed pace.

When I walk out I see a woman stand up from a desk and say something in Italian. I look to Alice and giv her a confused look. She looks human, why is she here?

Once we're out of hearing distance Bella turns to Edward and asks what her and I are thinking, "Is she human?"

"Yes." Edward replies with a grim voice

Bella, still confused, asks, "Does she know?"

"Yes." Edward answers again, this time looking more anxious.

"Then why would-", Bella cuts herself off, "she wants to be-" Bella hesitates to finish he answer.

"And so she will be" I jump a little, startled, as the short man behind spoke up. He looks at me, smirking and giving me a wink. I, very creeped out, looked away quickly and stood closer to Alice.

"Or dessert." Jane chimes in.

Shit. Fuck. I'm going to die here.

We reach a set of door and Jane opens them with ease. I see into th room and I'm shocked to see how gorgeous the room is. White tile is everywhere, clashing with the red tiles that patterned the ceiling.

"Sister they sen you out for one and you bring out two. And a half. Such a clever girl." a voice startles me. I never knew voices could be so addictive until now. I look around to find the sourc of the voice and see Jane approaching a boy, seemingly around her age.

I couldn't look away. Something in my wouldn't let me draw my gaze away. He must've felt it because he then looked at me. As we made eye contact I realized. He was effortless. His milky pale skin and blazing red eyes just like every other vampire in this room but they weren’t even comparable to him. His brown hair was cut like Justin Biebers and though I usually hated that cut it suited him. He wore a black suit, fitting him perfec-

"Maricela." a voice broke me out of my trance and I turned to Edward shocked and confused to what just happened.

As I look into Edward's face I see that he looks scared and worried.

"Stay close." He tells me stiffly without looking m in th eyes.

I nod and get closer to him and my sister with Alice standing next to me.

"What a happy surprise." A man standing in front of one of three thrones says with enthusiasm.

"Bella is alive after all. Isn't that wonderful." says the same man walking towards us.

"I love a happy ending." he says eerily happy as he reaches out for Edward's hand that was holding Bella's. Bella gasps at th loss of contact between them.

"La tua cantante." the strange man says after holding Edward's hand for a moment.

Something blood?

He continues to speak in Italian, the rest a cannot pick up.

"It makes me thirsty. How can you stand to be so close to her?" he asks glancing at Bella. What the fuck.

"It's not without difficulty." Edward replies quick and rushed

"As I can see." the man says with a chuckle.

What the hell is happening right now.

Edward glances at me and says, "Aro can read every thought I've every had. From one touch. And now you know everything." he finishes pulling his hand away from the man, Aro?

"So get one with it." Edward continues with the hostility

"You are quite a soul reader yourself Edward, though you can't read Bella's or Maricela's thoughts. Fascinating." Aro says finally glancing at me. I forgot that Edward can read minds. God that's so creepy. No privacy with him.

Aro takes a step back and says, "I would love to see if you are an exception to my gifts as well."

"Would you do my the honor." he continues this time holding out his hand for Bella. Bella steps forward and take his hand. She stumbles as Aro drags her closer. As the room goes quite I'm suddenly aware of the eyes on me. I look around and catch the eyes of the boy. When I caught him looking he didn't look away but something in his expression changed. Not enough to be noticed by most but I did, somehow. Why can't I look away. He has my graze trapped on him and I know I should b scared but I can't find it in myself to be. I see Jane turn to look at me in the corner of my eye and then looks at the boy beside her. A look of fury comes across her face and he quickly turns back to me to glare. I almost immediately look away from his eyes and focus back on what's happening.

"Interesting. I see nothing." Aro says looking at Bella. He then turns to me quickly and gestures for my hand. I place mine in his and after a few moments he looks up.

"Similar with Maricela here." he says as he backs up. When he's far enough away I finally look around and notice two other men sitting on thrones, each beside the center where Aro was sitting. The man on the right was blonde and had a menacing look on his face, with blood red eyes, and a face seemingly set in a forced snarl. The man on th left looked tired, withered away, and completely depressed. He looked like Bella a couple months ago but more aged. And a man.

"Let us see if they're immune to all our powers." Aro says bringing me back to the conversation.

He turns to Jane and says, "Shall we Jane?" I turn to look at Jane and she has a small smile on her face as she turns to look at us. Edward yells in protest and runs in front of Bella and I but stops suddenly. He then falls to his knees in agony as Bella protests loudly. The boy beside Jane rushes to stop Bella from interfering after she tried to run to Edward. As he holds Bella back Alice leaves my side to be next to Edward. I don't know what to do. I want to help but what can I do when these are powerful vampires, they can kill me in seconds.

Bella then turns to Aro and yells, "Please stop! Just stop!"

Aro then turns to Jane and signals her to stop. Edward gasps in relief as Aro tells Jane to "Go ahead".

The boy holding Bella back moves slightly, blocking me from Jane's view. I look up at him shocked but he isn't looking at me, still looking at Jane.

"This may hurt just a little." says Jane as she looks at Bella. A few moments pass and as Jane's smile falls I could hear Aro's joyful laugh.

"Now for Maricela." he says. The boy still standing in front of me, hesitates to move.

Aro taken aback by the boys hesitation says, "Alec, you're blocking you sisters view."

Alec. That's a good name for him.

Alec slowly moves out of my line of sight and Jane finally lays her eye on me. Fury is in her eyes as she looks at me. The same as before everyone stood for a few moments waiting for something to happen when, nothing did. I felt completely fine.

Aro laughs again and exclaims, "Marvelous! They confound us all. So what are we going to do with you now?"

"You already know what you are going to do with Bella." the man on the left throne speaks up. What about me though? What are they going to do with Bella?

"They know too much." the man on the right throne spoke.

Aro's face goes slack and he says, "True. Felix."

All hell broke lose after that. Alec, who was still holding Bella, spins her around but guides me with him away from what's happening behind me. As he pulled me away Edward rushed in front of Bella. Flipping her behind him as he rushed to Felix, the bigger guard from before. Alice tries to run towards Edward but the man who was with Felix before took her by the neck, stopping her from helping.

As the fight between Edward and Felix gets more intense with Edward being thrown across the room I look up at Alec. He still has yet to look at me, instead choosing to watch the fight. His hands are hovering against my back, I would be flustered if it weren't for the situation we were in.

As I look back to the fight I see Edward still getting his ass handed to him. At least he's trying. Felix slams Edward into the steps and pulls him to his knees.

"No! No! Please! Please!" Bella screams

Aro gestures for Felix to stop, shocked at what Bella's doing.

"Kill me, kill me. Not him." Bella says with her voice shaking

"What the hell Bella no!" I shout. She can't die!

Aro walks towards Bella after looking at me and the hand Alec has on me.

"Extraordinary. You would give up your life for someone like us." Aro says gesturing to himself

"No she wouldn't, right Bella?" I asked angered by her decision

"A vampire. A soulless monster." Aro continues

"Stay away from her." Edward says gruffly

"You don't know anything about his soul." Bella glares at Aro

Aro starts speaking in Italian and turns towards Felix.

"This is a sadness. If only it'd be your intention to give her immortality." Aro says turning back to Bella walking towards her

"Stop!?" "Wait!" Alice and I shout at the same time

Aro doesn't look away from Bella until Alice says, "Bella will be one of us. I've seen it, I'll change her myself. There's something you should know about Maricela too." Is this it? Is this the only option she was talking about? Aro holds out his hand and Alice walks forward to show him what she saw.

"Memorizing. To see what you have seen before it has happened. You gifts will make for an intriguing immortal Isabella." Aro pauses before looking at Alec, "And it seems our dear Alec has found his mate." Aro then turns to me and I back up. What is happening right now. What's a mate?

"What? No! Alice tell me you're lying!" Bella begs turning to Alice with fear written all over her face

"What do you mean mate?" I ask and the room goes quiet

I look at Alice and she's looking at me with pity again. Bella looks like she's about to cry and Edward looks furious.

"Alice what the fuck did you see?" I ask again

Alice opens her mouth to explain but Alec cuts her off, "A mate for vampires is similar to a soulmate for humans."

Fuck. Crap. Shit. Dammit.

This isn't happening.

"Oh. So I'm your mate?" I ask hesitantly

Alec nods

SHIIIT

"That's cool. When can we go home? Back to Forks." I ask panicked

"I'm afraid it isn't a good idea for mates to be separated. That's why Edward was here because he believed Bella to be dead." Aro says with a smile

I can feel myself get lightheaded.

"What about my dad? What about my school? I can actually go somewhere in life which was shocking for me and my dad to find out. Is Bella going to leave?" I ramble on asking question after question, scared at what I know is going to happen.

"She's not staying here she's coming back to Forks!" Bella protests

"Bella. Maricela. I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do." Edward says

Nothing? I start to tear up thinking about my life being ripped away from me. Will I be killed here? They're all blood thirsty vampires.

"He's right. Either way Maricela is staying here th only difference is in one option the three of you don't leave here alive." Aro says with a grim expression

Bella and I look at each other and she rushed towards me. She hugs me with so much strength I feel like I can't breath. Alice joins us and hugs me after Bella let's go.

"I'm so sorry. I was going to try and make you stay back at Forks but I know you wouldn't have listened." Alice apologizes

"Yeah no I would have still come with you." I say and glance at Alec who stepped back when my sister and Alice rushed me.

"Go now. Make your preparations." Aro says as Felix let's go of Edward. He rushes towards Bella and hold her waist. Gently pushing her towards the door.

I take her hand in mine, "Tell dad that when I went with you I got a really good schooling opportunity and that's why I couldn't come back. Okay? Tell him I love him." I say as more tears cloud my eyes.

"Let us be done with them. We have a different situation to discuss." the left throne man says

"I'd advise you follow through on you promise, we do not off second chances." says right throne man

Bella, Alice, and Edward all walk out the doors giving me sad looks. I see Bella with tears rolling down her face as the doors finally close.

Silence fills the room.

"Aro food is nearly here." says left throne man

"Lovely. Marcus why don't you take dear Maricela to another room so Alec can feed and clear his head." Aro says to left throne man, Marcus

Marcus stands slowly and gestures me to follow. Alec now standing next to me again puts his hand around my waist to lead me to him. He leaves my side when we reach Marcus. Marcus starts to head towards another door at th back of the room and I, too scared not too, follow behind him. We were in a long and dimly lit hallway. As Marcus leads me I pay attention to my foot steps echoing throughout the hall. I must've spaced out because when I come to I bump right into Marcus who's standing in front of a door. I jump back, frantically apologizing while he doesn't even turn to look at me and he just walks in. I wall slowly behind him and look around all over the room.

It was gorgeous. Shelves full of books going all the way to the ceiling, red velvet chairs and black leather chairs are placed all over the room, small circular tables beside them holding lamps. A giant carpet with patterns covered a majority of the floor. The walls that we're covered with book had paintings of the same woman. She was gorgeous, hair dark as space and eyes as red as blood.

I realize Marcus was staring at me waiting for me to take a seat in front of him. I nervously walke over to the chair in front of him and sat down.

"Do you have any questions Maricela?" Marcus asked with a fragile voice

I stay quiet. My thoughts are racing. I don't know what's going to happen to me. I don't know how my dad will resp-

Wait. How will he respond to me when I don't have a phone?! I must've forgot to get it when we were leaving Forks. I'm such an idiot!

"I know it's a lot to take in at once but please know a mate bond is very important to a vampire. Don't feel pressured to accept but give Alec a chance. He's had a difficult life and humans weren't exactly his friends." Marcus finishes

"Give him a chance? He's the reason I won't be able to see my family or my friends ever again!" I exclaim finally crying after holding in so much emotion.

"I just want to go home." I finish

Marcus just stares at me before opening his mouth to say, "A chance is all he needs Maricela. Please think about it. Now clean up your face he's coming to escort you to your room."

I quickly wipe my tears away and focus on my breathing to calm myself down. We sit there not talking for a minute when there's a knock on the door.

"Come in Alec." Marcus calls out, voice still fragile as ever

The door opens and walls in Alec. His eyes are on me instantly and suddenly I feel more relaxed.

Flashback over

I still can't believe that happened. I'm never going to see my family again. I wish this story was a good one like those Disney stories. I don't even know if my story has a happy ending.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Honestly, I wanted to make this have more than just Felix, Jane, Alec, Heidi and Demetri but I don't know the entire background and personalities of the other Volturi guards, so perhaps next time when i have more information about them. I imagine Elizabeth Gillies as Heidi, but it's fine if you imagine her as someone else! Also, Felix's and Alec's actions are similar to each other but they are not exactly the same.

FELIX VOLTURI AKA THE EXECUTIONER

Felix tries to be understanding of your actions but he ends up being sad since he has done everything he could to make you happy and you still wanted to leave him after all this time. Demetri was the one to find you attempting to escape and managed to get you back to Volterra, but for some reasons, Demetri being the one to catch you trying to escape actually makes Felix feel worse than if he was the one to catch you himself. Felix just gave you space at first, only watching you from a distance, before he started giving you gifts and do small things that he knows you would appreciate. He was doing everything he could to make you stay. It was all geniune and you could see that as well. You probably end up feeling guilty in the end and agreed to continue to stay with him. However, to ensure that you wouldn't try to run away anymore, Felix would be stricter with security measures and made sure that there's a guard who's always secretly watching you from a distance at all times.

DEMETRI VOLTURI AKA THE CASANOVA

You tried to get away from Demetri Volturi? The best tracker in the whole fucking world? You must have been really bloody insane, confident or just quite desperate. There's nothing else left to be said. This man can literally track you anywhere and everywhere. He knows where you are at all times, not just because of his tracking gift, but also because of his vampire senses. And even if you did try to escape him while he's on a mission, he will always know how to find you and get you back in his arms again. He usually doesn't take your escapes seriously and almost think of it as a game of hide and seek or a challenge of some sort but at times when he does take it seriously, he gets a bit stricter with you afterwards and made sure that a guard is with you all the time.

ALEC VOLTURI AKA THE "NUMB" WITCH TWIN

You would usually try to escape while Alec is on a mission far away from Volterra, so it was always another guard who catches you trying to escape or even sneak out to just have some relaxation, most of the time it's Demetri or Felix. At first, Alec only stayed silent the whole time while he's always near you, before he starts giving you gifts and do small but sweet gestures that he knows you would appreciate, similar to Felix. However, unlike Felix, Alec's gifts and sweet gestures aren't geniune at all. They are all just part of his scheme to guilt trip you into staying with him. He would indirectly make you think that you are the one at fault. But if manipulation doesn't work with you, then he knows a few other extreme ways that does.

JANE VOLTURI AKA THE "PAIN" WITCH TWIN

Jane is furious. Very fucking furious. It certainly didn't make it any better that she was the one who had caught you trying to run away. Jane's solution to deal with your behaviour is through torture, but she would most likely not use her gift on you. Most likely. It depends on the situation entirely and Jane's mood as well. However, Jane will definitely force you into isolation in your room for weeks, perhaps even months if you continue to go against her. She would not allow anyone to go near your room, not even to deliver your meals. Jane will be the only one to do everything that's related to you. Not even his brother, Alec, has visited you once during your isolation. You will either break or kneel to her, it is all up to you. On a side note: she would probably force you into isolation a little longer than she had planned merely for fun, even if you were already begging her to let you out.

HEIDI VOLTURI AKA THE SEDUCTRESS

Heidi would be furious and annoyed as well if her darling mate tried to escape her. She was the one to catch you trying to escape when she noticed your scent lingering a little in the group of tourists she was leading in. She left to investigate and saw you hurrying into town. Heidi was a little more furious than she would be if you had attempted to escape on a regular day. Why? Well, you interrupted her during her fucking job, that's why. It will take a bit of time for her to forgive you but when she does, she will use her gift on you and attempt to seduce you. You will have a hard time resisting her, but if you somehow manage to resist her, then Heidi will have no other choice than to get help from Corrin. She will get her to mend the relationship between the both of you and Corrin will also make you forget about any doubts you have of Heidi throughout the relationship.

ALEC VOLTURI & JANE VOLTURI AKA THE WITCH TWINS

You had a yandere Alec or a yandere Jane, now imagine having a yandere Alec and a yandere Jane and trying to run away from them. Well, no one can help you now from their wrath, perhaps not even the masters, not like they would be paying much attention to the well being of the humans in their castle though. Alec is more "merciful" than his sister and will persuade her to give you a slightly lesser torturing punishment, but it's a little hard for her to do, especially since she was always the one to catch you doing things that the twins had forbidden you to do. Eventually, Jane settled on using your loved ones to blackmail you into staying with them. You were bloody terrified and agreed to stay, while Alec would be trying to "make up" to you for their actions afterwards by doing grand things that you would be completely in love with, whether it's to make sure your loved ones stays in a luxurious new home or anything that makes you momentarily forget about what they had done.

Finally somebody gets it 😭😭😭
