She dumped Mike in s3 because he was lying to her, and yes it was with the help of Max that she dumped him, but it was her choice to dump him! In s4 it was HER choice to argue because she thought that Mike didnât love her! When in s3 sheâs sad without him, sheâs sad not because she doesnât know who she is without him, BUT BECAUSE SHE LOVES HIM AND DOESNâT WANT TO BE WITHOUT HIM. (AND SHE SAYS SO TO HIM AT THE END OF THE SEASON). If you think that she doesnât know what love is, and how to give and receive it, then, as I said, youâre ableist, as simple as that.
Also if she âlatched herself on anyone that treats her like a human beingâ then why does this apply to Elmax? Dustin, Lucas, (from the end of s1) Max and Will always treated her like a human being. Does their love for her mean nothing? Canât she love them back because she really loves them and not because in your twisted mind she has no idea of who she is and her love for them is invalid?
Sorry if Iâm coming off pissed off, but the idea that traumatized people canât receive/give love BEFORE THEYâVE HEALED fucking angers me because traumatized/ND people deserve to be loved and to be in love just like anyone else.

I think the strangest thing in stranger things is Mike (literally a gay man be serious.) and Eleven (lesbian as hell are u kidding) dating.
The duffer brothers: Will is gay and in love with Mike

Stranger things s4 sets up what is the essentialy will el and mike dynamic in seaosn 1-4 except its max el and Lucas
Will in the first seaosn goes missing and it takes a while for the gang to even commatie with will contact the lights did help but again they primarily couldn't talk to will
Max is in coma shes like not speaking and she essentially can't commicate
So thoses two with the added death via the upside down of ms barba who will to nancy mike are like in trouble
The gang and two others in these trios are worried el and max the same sex part of the dynamic as well will and mike have homosexual friendship(I'm to lazy to use big words lmao)
So each dynamic has romantic gay dynamic(elmax byler) entirely platonic dynamic between one of boy and girl duos(lucas and el, will and el,) and perceived romantic comhpet dynamic (lumax mileven)

So if this season lacked byler in some yalls opinions its because they're setting up elmax lesbian upside down trauma (I'm sorry im bitter but some yall are so focused on byler you dont care about importantace lesbian subtext that is crucial analysis)
Essentially elmax will go through byler trauma although given the dutchbros dont have much time well see how they pull it off
