So. For my first post on the new account I chose my last obsession — my four OCs (Fallout4, BG3 & W40kRT) drawn in Gravity Falls AU because
a) I love them, your honor
b) I watched Gravity Falls like I should do in the fall

Well, this definitely needs some context. A few months ago, I polled my followers on other platforms about which of my original characters they would choose to romance in a dating sim. The winners were Blanche (Rogue Trader) and Andy (Fallout 4), but overall the most voted option was "Please, have mercy, I'm scared, either one of them could literally kill me". And that's true! But not the point.
So I'm slowly but surely drawing them some dating sim shots.

Backstory:
(Mentions of Stillbirth, Enslavement, Cults, and Sexual Exploitation ahead)
She grew up in a traveling show run by a baro of Wasteland Rromani. After accidentally falling pregnant at 17, she marries Joel Stepford a mortician from a long line of morticians. After the baby is stillborn due to complications, Joel falls into a heavy depression and begins to drink constantly leading to a very large debt. When the bar owners arrived to force him to pay his debt, Sweetjane offers herself as an indentured slave. She works as such for six months until her contract is sold to the Brooks family, to be a domestic slave and carer for the matriarch who was suffering from Alzheimer's dementia. She was branded with a B on her left shoulder as was custom in Louisiana but was not given the collar.
While as a slave under the Brooks, she was attacked by one of the sons who was under the influence of Psycho causing her very distinct facial scars, including nearly severing her nose (leading to a loss of her sense of smell). After three years under the Brooks, the Matriach dies and she was sold again, this time to a cult run by the Baron. The Baron runs both New Orleans and a cult based around << Voodoo >> . Not actual Voudoun religion, but what tvtropes terms << Hollywood >>. The Baron is a pre-war ghoul who has styled himself after Baron Samedi. This is when she was equipped with the bomb collar in case something goes wrong or she tries to escape.
They succeeded and Sweetjane passed away. The Actual Bawan Samdi took pity on her, resurrecting her and making her basically immortal with certain conditions attached, seemingly out of boredom. As well as her seeming immortality, he has gifted Sweetjane with the ability to see spirits that wish her harm as well as the general ability to communicate with certain spirits. The closest thing to compare it too is that she is now his avatar/assistant. However, she doesn't work for free. In exchange for the Iwa's protection, she must never partake of alcohol, particularly rum, and cigars (cigarettes and chems are fine) and once a month to keep her soul here in the land of the living partake in the consumption of human flesh that she herself has obtained.
That night Sweetjane locks the cultists inside the church and burns it to the ground, but not before grabbing the boy who she was meant to kill and eat as a sacrifice. This boy is now her son Jame. Jame is non-verbal due to trauma, he communicates using a speak and spell toy or sign language.
They escape to Lincoln Memorial, where Jame's bomb collar was removed and they found out that due to manufacturing error Sweetjane's bomb collar cannot be removed safely. From Lincoln Memorial the pair trekked to Chicago and settled in a supply farm for the Midwest chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel. However this chapter was extremely corrupt and she endured sexual exploitation. This gives Sweetjane a lifelong distrust and vendetta of the Brotherhood as a whole. When they asked for her to bring her son next time, she left for Diremall.
She lives in Diremall for about 6 months and tiring of wearing the literal millstone around her neck, she heads to the Commonwealth.

I wanna write about my fallout ocs. (all specifically fallout 4 cause i haven't played the other games.) im gonna do it. Time for cluster fuck.
This is my sole survivor Rocky! Shes based on my first (and current) play through and my emotions towards the shit that happens in game. I will give reasoning behind all the story rewrites. Firstly now shes a model instead of a lawyer. Why? Cause i can. Now lets get into what changes the games story. She doesn't have a kid. Shaun isnt her her kid. Shaun is her best friends kid. Her best friend died 4 months before the bombs dropped and Rocky took her child since he would have been put up for adoption. She didn't want kids and wasnt even in a relationship at the time but took him and vowed to raise him the way Lucy(her friend) would have wanted him to be raised. Rockys roommate took shaun to the vault before Rocky could even get out of the house which is why she survived. And why did i write her story like this instead? Its because 1. Most of my ocs dont have kids But 2. The main reason is because we didnt get to grow attached to our son in the beginning of the game. I also already am predisposed to dislike babies so when i finally found him, on top of becoming friends with nick and hearing the fear of the npcs of the Institute, and he was an absolute dickhead. I didnt give a shit about him. Like he said letting the sole out was an experiment then he says the Commonwealth is disgusting i just legit hated him. So made him not my characters son. Like why would i want to stay by my side he is so easy to hate. So im gonna draw some comic segments for her every now and then. Most will be funny, some will be sad. Most will have nick and hancock and thats it for now.
Based on a moment that happened when i did vats while crouched. I just had to draw. Hancock is allowed one spooky bad ass art all others will be him being thrown. Im still drawing some comic strips one will come out soon hopefully.

So i was like hey. My sole survivor oc was a model prewar. I wanna make a whole magazine for her. And ima weather it and like add in picture with paper clips of her friends now, maybe make it look like she wrote notes in pen and stuff. And then i was like well i wrote on her back story that shaun isnt her kid its her best friends kid but, shes the god parent and her best friend died so thats why she has shaun. But her friend was also a model, so i should design her and put like a picture of her in the magazine too. But then i was like shaun wasnt taken to the vault by sole so hey i should design her roommate whos also a model that took shaun to the vault. Also put a pic of him in it. Then i was like hey, i wrote in her backstory that she lived with 4 other models and ive designed 2 so fuck it ima design the other 2. Then i was like hey. She had a pretty good childhood and shes a model cause she wants her mom to be able to brag about her only child. So hey. Ima design her mom too. And then as i fell in love with these characters and these dynamics that they had it dawned on me. Everyone but my sole survivor dies... And now im sad. Wtf have i done to myself.

She has an illness? Mutation? That causes fungus to grow from her body it’s helpful though because it consumes radiation and allows her to heal a lot quicker than the average wastelander, she even has a little pet bird that follows her around
Ive still got a lot to figure out about her even though she’s one of my oldest ocs but she means a lot to me so I’m happy to be able to share her here !

what kind of uses does Ophelia make from the fungus that grows from her? I understand that it has a healing factor, so does she ever make brews with it? bandaging? what other things might it be useful for?
Ophelia trims them when they become to overgrown for practicality reasons (such as being able to wear normal clothes and whatnot) but it hurts a little bit because they are physically apart of her. With the trimmings she can make a faster working radaway and such but apart from that they’re most useful on her keeping her healthy!
Strayed a quite a bit from the question here I think but I’ll include it anyway!
They produce a faint glow when it’s dark and a really bright one when near large amounts of rads, you can imagine her shock with commonwealth radstorms they go crazy bright !
The fungus makes it so she’s kinda cold all the time though so she has to layer up (more noticeable in Boston than it was in vegas) but than she over heats in radstorms because of the radiation consumption so it’s a bit of a downside - still need to work on this bit though
Another downside is that she’s not allowed in places like diamond city without a disguise because they think it’s contagious ( it’s not!) but her minutemen settlements just have to suck it up because what else are they gonna do - the last part isn’t exactly cannon because most people don’t actually know what she looks like until she does her big settlement help scheme and starts handing out equipment and having her people enforce settlement security for the war with the brotherhood / institute!
