you know what gets me about tanfang? it’s the way we can see fang express his insecurities only for tan to immediately dispel them without even realizing he’s doing it
fang worries that it’s boring for tan to always spend time watching him work when he could be with his friends. and tan responds with the fact that sitting and watching fang work is relaxing for him. that he loves looking at his cute boyfriend all the time
fang feels that maybe tan finds it weird or cringy when he acts soft and affectionate towards him. tan responds with how much he likes every version of fang and that the soft side of fang feels like it’s for special occasions, makes him feel bubbly inside
fang misguidedly takes his school frustrations out on tan and feels frustrated with himself for it. tan assures him he’s not unreasonable and does something to lighten fang’s mood
and none of these things feel like tan has to go out of his way convince fang that he means them because tan wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to fang and he can see that tan is saying these things so easily because every word is 1000% true for tan
tan is just being his affectionate and bright self and probably doesn’t even realize that his sometimes over-the-top and cheesy lines actually mean so much for fang and i CRY
okay but can we talk about fang. khaofang – this darling sweet elder brother fang – who doesn't know how to let himself be loved.
khaofang who doesn't think he can be loved because he's "too unreasonable" and "doesn't behave well." khaofang who was taught that love always comes with conditions. khaofang who is certain that everyone will leave the people they love – just like their parents did with phum.
khaofang, whose only wish is that tan offers him a warning before he leaves. if only so that he can prepare for what he sees as inevitable.
but he has tan. tan – this actual walking angel on earth tan – who knows that he is loved.
tan who is there every time fang needs him, ready to listen to his grievances and shower him in reassurance. tan who is unashamed of his love for fang, who will shout it from rooftops and whisper it in secret all the same. tan who promises fang a forever he never thought he deserved.
tan, whose only wish is that khaofang truly understands how cherished he is.
Almost a week and Fang's quiet 'I miss you' to Tan while he pushes Phum and Peem to meet their parents, the quiet way he stays by himself in the family meeting and smiles at the peaceful moments but never brings his boyfriend there, never introduces Tan, just goes home to him instead... it's so sweet. It's everything to me. Fang has his safe space. Fang has a home that lets him be himself. There's pain to see him there alone when he's been dating Tan longer than Phum has been dating Peem but there's also a joy in the comfort he gets from loving Tan, from knowing that he goes home to Tan, to choosing not to bring Tan when he has to wear a mask because Tan is where he goes to take that mask off.
So... I've watched the trailer for Blue Eye Samurai, and I do plan on watching the show after seeing it, and it got me thinking on what a potential movie for Daken could be.
One has to admit, Daken has a lot of untapped potential. He has a lot of interesting stories to tell. Hell, when the trailers for Logan first dropped years ago, I was kinda hoping what would turn out to be X-24 could have been Daken.
Whether it be Daken's quest for revenge against his father Wolverine, or him forming a bond with X-23, or even some other options, Daken has stories you can tell.
There's a chance I'll add more to this in later, just gotta get some more thoughts together.

Civilian X-Men series: Wolverine, Laura and Akihiro by Bestylocke
So... a while ago I made a small post about Blue Eye Samurai, as well as Daken from Marvel. Mostly as a way to talk about how it would be interesting for the son of Wolverine to be adapted to other mediums and get some recognition.
I know that last time I spoke of this, I talked about the idea of Daken's quest for revenge against his father and the idea of him bonding with Laura/X-23. I think with BES being a story about revenge, I think going with Daken bonding with his sister would be the better option. Oh! The adaptation that features them could be an adaptation of Wolverines, the comic where Logan is dead and people like him and/or connected to him are kidnapped and used by... I honestly forget who and for what purpose, it's been a while since I read Wolverines. I do remember it also featured Sabretooth and Mystique
Or maybe one could just go with his quest for revenge, or maybe have it be the story of a young Akihiro growing up, that anger and resentment at his father building and building, eventually him being trained by Romulus as something of a weapon against Logan.
If anybody else has any ideas, it's cool to share them. I wouldn't mind hearing of those ideas.

Happy late Valentine's Day! Took me a while to get this done cause I never get to have the chance to draw from time to time, so now I'm 4 days and some hour's late but at least its done!
Thank you @blues-sues for sending Fang over for Valentine's, Koal enjoyed the nice gesture even if Fang didn't want to.
Glad to be done with this, I'm gonna go take a nap. See y'all another day -🥕
Battle scene plus individual sprites. I wanted to match each character's personality to the class as best I could. In rank 1 is Fang. In all honesty I did not play snoot game and should've done at least some research on a project that took twenty or so hours but to late now. Fang is the Hellion class because I think it suits her punk personality, a shallow reason but I don't know a lot about Fang, only bits so I played it safe. In rank 2 is Anon as the Bounty Hunter. I know a bit more about Anon. Starting out, as far as I know, He's a bit abrasive. But then starts to open up. The Bounty hunter CAN open up like Anon, but the biggest reason I went with BH was the personality. I used the colour of his shirt for the leather armor and the colour of his pants for the chainmail under it. Anon has a really basic design so he has more BH traits so you can tell what class he was. In rank 3 is Inco. I have played Wani so I know a lot more about the other two. Inco is very outgoing and tries his best to help Olivia despite how she pushes people away. Due to how protective he can be, It's not hard to imagine him wanting to protect his friends as well. So I made him be the Man-At-Arms. His shirt doesn't really look like the armor I wanted it to be but I think he came out better. And finally in rank 4 there's Olivia. Ending two Olivia to be specific. Both the Arbalist and Olivia were forced into a situation they didn't want to be in. The arbalist having to fend for themselves as just a child and growing into soldier just to survive. While Olivia, due to her condition, struggles to get anything but pity. Ending two shows how much she hates how people want to get her into a company that sells art from disabled people. But it seems that there's no other option, after years of trying to be a normal artist in a wheelchair. It seems as if she must resign and accept being called a disabled artist and take the easy way. Of course the Arbalist has it harder but the angst is there. Both of them being something they never wanted to be, and now only being known for it. Also It's probably best to keep the wheelchair bound Hero in rank 4 though I guess being in a wheelchair with the breaks on would give you extra Move resist or something. That was probably a annoying amount of text but I hope you guys enjoy the artwork!
