Breaking News: Jocks across America are posting their new "gainz" with the hashtag #fizzbod. Many attribute their growth to regular nights with their bros pounding the hottest new beer, The Fizz. Seems since the massive (pun intended) popularity of the dadbod that having a little more heft than average has become sought after even by the once-athletic youths of society. Relatedly, college coaches have reported many changes in teams as swimmers and tennis players swap over to sports that benefit from increased weight like football and wrestling, or more leisurely sports like golf and baseball. In other news, professors worried as drop-out and fail-out rates continue to increase steadily at colleges, even in the Ivy League. Some ascribe the shift to a perceived rise of anti-intellectualism among men. Others, like Dr. Fitz, head of the Biology and Chemistry department at NIT, suggests otherwise. Interviewing him over beers, he explained to me that men were simply embracing their natural instincts and engaging with age appropriate activities. "The idea that the entirety of your youth should be spent on learning is an entirely modern construction" he expounded, "I think its healthy that more and more men are drinking and being merry, sowing their wild oats so to speak, intellectual pursuits can come... later probably." Now this may have just been my drink talking, but I couldn't help but agree.
