I'm late to the party, but are we really not going to talk about the similarly between Vox's and Sir Pentious' powers? And the fact that the reason behind Pentious' repeated attacks is to be seen as an equal by the Vees, potentially mainly Vox?
The authors state that they know each other (Vox even seems familiar by Sir Pentious' incompetence, as if he's seen it happen many times before) and must have some history together, even openly showing us how he's immune to Vox's hypnosis power.
Pentious thinks very highly of him, evidenced by how he takes the job offered by Vox and more by how he reacts to his later berating. He doesn't stand up for himself nor fights back; he just cries and complies, accepting his death.
It's a bit far-fetched, but could it be that Vox is the long-lost son Pentious mentions on the Pilot, or perhaps another family member? I'm placing my bets on it.

Vees birthdays Roman numerals
What if one of the Vee’s birthday’s (or maybe death days) was May 5th. 5 in Roman numerals is V, so it would be VV. To be VVV, they would have to die on a year ending in V. My idea is that they each died on the 5th of their decades.
Vox died in 1955, Valentino died in 1975, and we aren’t sure what decade Velvette died yet, but since Vox and Val are 20 years apart I’m gonna say Vel died in 1995. Even funnier? They all died on the same day, just in different years.

Vox: May 5th, 1955 (Mid-fourties: 48 y/o) Valentino: May 5th, 1975 (Mid-fifties: 56 y/o) Velvette: May 5th, 1995 (Early thirties- 33 y/o) •The ages are my headcanons but the ranges are canon :P
So they all died on V/V/V. That would just be great. If sinners celebrate their death dates instead of their birthdays, then that means they would all have the same birthday. Which would be even better. Just think about how much money would be spent spoiling each other…
I dunno, I just want to learn more death dates in Hazbin and I think this would be hilarious.
