Heterophobia - Tumblr Posts

Will i loose followers for this post? Probably

Will i loose friends for it? Maybe

Do i care? Nope

Misandry exists.

Women do use feminism as an excuse for misandry.

If you say kill all men or anything along those lines please block me.

Women do have certain privileges when it comes to certain things.

Men don't have all the privileges in the world.

Recently, I notice that, it turns out, many people think that sipping a man and a woman is stupid and not interesting, and generally straight people turn out to be shit ...

I am not homophobic, but every time it becomes more and more sad. You protect them, you say that they are also the same people as we are, and instead of straight people they pour mud.

Feeling Lost

I try to do the best I can to try and find people that have the right mindset over people and equality and justice for others but when I think I find them, they end up disappointing me. I used to be more hesitant about things but hope to be getting better. I wonder if I might be wrong. Usually I see groups fight for a cause but there’s a bias or preference that compromises them that frustrates me. People need to realize that despite the struggles, no matter how small or big it might be, should matter. For those that have harmful ideas or mindsets should be educated respectfully but firmly. I just don’t know who the good side is anymore.

Rant

I hate how tumblr has to make everything such an “us and them” situation. Like, there’s literally nothing inherently wrong with cis people, or straight people, or white people, or men. I can’t believe I really have to say this.

No one is inherently evil.

Cis people can be transphobic. Trans people can be cisphobic. Straight people can be homophobic. Gay people can be heterophobic. White people can be racist. Minorities can be racist. Men can be sexist. Women can be sexist.

No one is inherently evil.

Being LGBT+ doesn’t and will never make you incapable of hate or prejudice. Never. It's not about privilege. It’s not about oppression. It about being hateful towards someone because of who they are. When you want to spread harassment and violence like a plague against people you don’t like because they fit into a category you deem inherently evil, it is never, ever justified.

No one is inherently evil.

If someone is being transphobic or homophobic or racist or sexist, you have every right to call them out and try and change their mind, no matter what you identify as. Respectfully. But violence and harassment have never changed anyone’s mind for the better.

No one is inherently evil.

That being said, people can change. Support their change. Teach them about your perspective, your opinions, your morals. I’ve changed for the better in such a big way in the past few years. It takes exposure to other viewpoints and lots of self-reflection. But it’s very possible.

No. One. Is. Inherently. Evil.

Hatred can come from anyone. It’s an emotion in collaboration with an opinion. That isn’t exclusive to anyone. But violence and harassment can’t, won’t and will never fix anything.

I’ll say it again for the people in the back:

No! One! Is! Inherently! Evil!
