the main guy in movies suffering from a battle wound leaving him collapsing on the ground and ready to die but suddenly healing enough to dramatically start fighting in the final fight is literally me when i walk up three flights of stairs and suffer terribly from that sensation where im like i will never be able to take a full breath ever again and then 5 minutes and two sips of water later im completely fine breathing to the best of my ability

I watched gems pov the other day, and number one i think its really really funny that gem went “yk what i failed my task and im bored lemme recruit an army” and she did. Like was it bdubs task, yes. But everyone else to my knowledge went on there own accord. They were like yeah!! Lets fight the dragon!! And then they did-

Like this whole series is about staying apart keeping stuff to yourself. But people just stay close with everyone- like yeah they have there teams. But they all bond and hang out. And its nice.

This series feals like one of those family game shows. Where everyone gets along, they know in the end they’ll have to compete but for right now they can just have fun with the games.

Passing the (redstone) touch: Etho and Mumbo

Etho had been the redstone god for as long as he knew

He liked it

It was a nice job he loved making new things

Trying new inventions

And then came this boy

Redstone just clicked for him

And Etho watched

And little by little he got better

And older

He went from doors

To big machines

To things nobody else had thought of

He was really good

And Etho

Well etho was getting tired

So tired

Of working so hard

So one day he decided

The kid (now a fully grown man but always a kid in Ethos eyes)

Was gonna take his place

He was the right fit

Like putting your flying machine stop at the perfect place the first try without overthinking it

So Etho did something he hadn’t done in a bit

Go to the mortal realm

Visiting a familiar house atop the hill

And they talked

And talked

And talked

And then the sun came down

Etho told him

And there was shock

And a few tears

And a slightly tickily hug (mustache problems amiright?)

And by the time you could see the first break of dawn

Etho was retired

Still a god

Still as immoral as ever

But a boy with a mustache and a fancy accent had taken his role

And he looked pretty happy to have that power

Etho was proud of him

(Even if Etho had specifically told him not to make the automatic crafter and then he did)

Ahdianodensn I haven’t posted in almost a week!

First off happy Valentine’s Day, my contribution to the day is,

My silly Oc gets to be in my guilty pleasure ship (please they are thematic and in my heart where Mercury is a real character and Octavian doesn’t die they help each other through processing their trauma and are so silly-) also Ares because after watching the episode more everytime I see him I spontaneously combust.

Anyway the next post will be about ToA hidden Oracle, I’m finishing the book and I’ve been bookmarking things that looking interesting and that I wanna talk about, which I’ll compile into a post and hahahaha.

Anyway uh Happy Valentine’s Day and Lupercalia to all. Possibly a New Rome/Camp Jupiter festivals post if I don’t get to finishing Hidden Oracle in a timely manner.
