sometimes i think about how THOROUGHLY impulse latched onto bdubs in double life. how impulse was almost like, uncanny levels of cheerful, and was clearly almost trying not to look at anything that might be wrong. how you could see that falling apart a little as he and bdubs got to red lives. and then, that final death, the way it showed bdubs as having killed him in his death message. and then i think about impulse from third life and impulse from last life and think. it must be overwhelming, for someone like impulse, to suddenly have the full attention of bdubs deciding that you're his special little guy. for once, you're the lucky one. you have bdubs right here. you have this guy who is basically known for being loyal to an insane degree to like, one person ever. do you think impulse just wanted to hold onto that. no matter what else was happening. no matter what else was wrong. do you think impulse just wanted to come first for once. to be trusted by the person he cared about for once. to be unconditionally by someone's side for once. because i do. i think that. i think traffic!impulse very much would have wanted to finally be trusted, to be valuable. and i think he would never forget that death message. the fact that at the very end, this person still stabbed him in the back. don't you think? do you ever just think about impulse,
I’m watching the Sons of the forest vods on impulses channel, and scar was talking about using a walker at 16, I’m 17 and I’m on the Ehlers Danlos Spectrum, told by doctors I’ll most likely need a walker or wheelchair later in life, so hearing scar talk about using a mobility aid at the same age I am, makes me feel better :)
Scar is having a mary poppins moment now.
Is it a Genie luring the Minotaur back into the Maze?
Or is it just a Ghost, disguised as a Dungeon Maser, trying to bribe his friend into playing the bad guy in his dungeon?
Either way, it's Minotaur Impulse and Ghost Tango (or Tanghost) for the Hermit fanon swap!

I couldn't get this out of my mind after Skizz said he wants a Burger with Imp's hair in Cleo's stream, so I had to draw it.
I do actually love Impulse's skin tho, even if the hair looks like fries xD

my sleep schedule decided to break, so completing these in time is now quite a challenge, but I wanted to make the pun SO BAD
and it isn't what I initially had in mind, but I like this one way more I think
also at some point my brother walked in on me drawing this and asked "is that a defibrillator humanization". and I hate how that description fits rather well
me and the boys ganging up on our friend to try and stop him from procrastination

DEATH IMIDEAT. Just a friendly warning :)
"Grian? Grian!? Where are you!?"shouted a person. "GRIAN!"
The person went into Grian's room. Light emits from the bathroom.
The person gets scared. They went to the door, trying to open it.
"Don't try." They heard.
"Grian open this door." The hybrid ordered.
"Call the ambulance. Will ya?" Grian asked.
" Why? Just open the door and we can help you."
"Too late for that..."
The door gets unlocked but Grian kept it shut with his body. Grian held a smile.
The person called one as per request. A while later Grian slowly crwaled away from the door and went next to the bathtub.

The paramedics got to the bathroom, and saw a dog hybrid crying whilst holding a cold, damaged bird hybrid, in their arms.
The medics got them both in the ambulance and drove off. No sirens, no over the speed limit only taking its time and helping the dog hybrid.
That happened a while ago. Where a sever first met Grian for the first time and the last time. Season 6 of hermitcraft the first week. they meet, had fun and died.
A few met him years before the sever, some didn't at all. The only Witness of the death was Ren. He told Grian's old and current friends of his death. Xisuma was the first to hear of it then Doc, Joe and Tango.
Tango ran to Grian's dead body. He didn't believe Ren nor the doctors, that his love had died.
Xisuma, Doc and Joe also got there.
A week later, they told their therapist on what happened. That's how Impulse and Kerilais found out. Scar simply asked what's happening.
Season 6 got an early mid-season break. The hermits thought it was because X needed a break from being an admin. None of them thought that X blamed himself for not protecting Grian.
A year had passed from that point. Cub stayed curious. He spied on Tango and Scar about their weird behaviour after the first week of the season.
Then got Zed in and both of them went to Scar's and tango's bases looking for answers.
Zed found a box labelled 'best buddy's ' and it being full of stuff he knows no hermit owns and took it. Zed also found a book and a compass which he took as well.
Cub only found a red sweater and a compass as well. The two met up again & went through the stuff.
In the box they found had 2 headphones, a few books, a photo album, a blue sweater, 4 pictures, many letters and a smaller purple and white box.

2 of the pictures were framed, one of them had Grian, Tango and a person they did not recognize with "Me, luv and him" written on it.
The second one had X, Doc, Impulse, Grian, Tango, Joe, Scar, Ren, and the others with "My Dads, Brothers and sisters!" written on.
"Okay who exactly is Grian?" Cub asked.
"Bird hybrid, not that tall, seems like he can kill and will. I do not know," Zed replied, "He died the first week, probably someone wanted to kill him?"
"Joe might have some answers," Cub then said.
"Let's go!" Zed stood up.
They both packed the 'stolen' stuff and put them on a table labeled "Evidence."
The two got to Joe's office and got his logbook.
"You think this is a good idea? All hermit's problems are in it," Zed whispered.
"I am also a therapist. He won't mind," He whispered back.
The Lights flicks on.
"It is 2:30 in the morning. I just got Ren and Scar to bed. What are you doing?" Joe asked, standing at the doorway.
"Uhhhhhh- Hey Joe! We thought X was here?" Cub started.
"Really? Then what is with the whispering about the logbook and about you being a therapist?" Joe Then said, "plus you failed your test."
"We only wanted to know who exactly is Grian?" Zedaph told him.
"... Goodnight and put the things that you stole back in their original place." and left after killing the lights.
The two dumb boys despite it would be best if they left as well, while wondering how did Joe Know?

instant sadness
A man cleaning the deck of his ship alongside with his crew, a helpful bunch. When one of them saw something.
"Captain! Fallen sailors!" Said his second mate.
"What!? Bring them 'board! " The captain ordered.
Three men and one woman were saved from the dangerous sea. The helmsman noticed a mark on the girl's collar bone and told his captain to be careful.
" Hmm. Thank you Bdubs. Joe go tell the others we have passengers for the time being. Doc, go get Stress," he ordered.
The three of them nodded and left to their jobs. The captain stayed with the almost dead crew from the flying Jelly.
"HmMm- bastard- wha?" One of them woke up, " where?"
"You're on the Hermitcrew ship. I'm the captain Xisumavoid," he told the other, " this is Stress,our medic."
"Immpulse. I'm ImpulsSV. That's Mumbo Jumbo our helmsman, Grian first mate and Pearl 2.nd mate. I'm land spotter." Impulse introduced.
"What happened to your crew?" The captain asked, while Stress took care of Impuls, then went on to Pearl.
"We got attacked by others and our ship sank to the bottom, while our captain fled." The conscious man replied.
The medic checked on Grian. A pulse, very weak. She waited for the next one. It didn't came.
"Xisuma. Get doc and get out of here." She said looking at the captain with no emotions.
X knew better that to disobey.
He shouted for Doc and got the four of them out giving the medics some space.
"Too much water-"
"No! -art beat!"
" -ump him!"
"Got a beat!"
"Will he be okay?" Impulse asked the taller.
"Hopefully yes. But we need to wait," he answered.
"Shit-!"
"Wounds are infected!"
"Grab the needles!"
"-in activity's low !"
"Get the mask and the solution!"
Pearl woke up.
"What's going on ?" She asked.
Joe came in with food for 5 and gave one to the ones awake.
"He's the captain of the ship Hermitcrew," her brother replied.
" Where's Gri-" she started.
" XISUMA GET THE EXTRA BATTERY!"
X ran to grab the battery and rant into the room. Joe put the rest of the food on the surrounding barrels.
"Grian can't swim," Pearl muttered.
"What ?"
" Grian can't swim," she said it again.
Impulse realized it too.
