Winter Break
My classes ended this thursday, which means I'm on my winter break until January 24th. (it's a week or two more than what I'd get when I was in school, and it's also funny because that's when my bros b-day is XD; he's angry about it) I'll slowly start crawling back to my drawings, in which I hope to improve in not only the anatomy, but also in the style that I want to draw. There are a lot of artists that have inspired and influenced me in these last 2-3 years (besides the videogames and cartoons/animes that I have seen before these) that I love so much, it's really hard to put them in a list to recognize them easier. But even so, I will try to list the ones that have done so and in the order of how it possibly went: (they're my main inspirations, though people unmentioned are also inspiring me when they bring up something new)
Takeshi Matsu (curiosity pulled me in when someone said his name)
Luisazo (might have happened before the above)
MonkeyGoGo (during the curiosity stage)
Humbuged (I think I saw him through Luisazo's favorites)
Crimsonblood/Zhu (sexy hunks + nice anatomy)
Kenny (I've been watching you on most of the acc's you had that I can remember)
Leomon32 (Bahn the giant + multiple character designs)
Branchlaw (8U latest~ <3)
Also most of the people that I watch on the sites that I go on. (ex. DA, Pixiv, Y!, etc)

I got this idea of bug-elves sitting around my lore notes for some time where. Basically taking the fascinating collectivist structure of a euro-social insect colony and applying it to a society of sapient beings. Individual members are tiny and simple-minded, but through sheer number and coordination, they are capable of achieving great feats of strength and science. I only got one type here, but there could be dozens, if not hundreds of different species of elves based on all kind of ants, bees, wasps and termites, fitting to how elves tend to come in all kind of variants. I also like to imagine that they are still relatively tiny and everything from their buildings to their war machines are the size of toys.
