I've had these in the backburner for a bit while we've been waiting for dinner time, and it's really rewarding to see them all in one place.
Lets hope I actually survive dinner though....
I want to draw Ireena with a pretty horse but every single animal in Barovia probably looks like the most malnourished and depressed beast on the planet 😭😭

sorry for low quality, im using CSP demo so i cant export images i have to screenshot them lmfao. Also i think ive said this before but i genuinely dont know how ive gotten by using medibang for so long, CSP is SO much better for painting with.
Long time no see! Guess who started DMing a Curse of Strahd campaign!
And of course I had to draw some of the npcs my players encountered (feat. their character's reactions under the cut)
Ismark and Ireena, NPCs from Curse of Strahd. Things have come full circle; after finishing the campaign 2 years ago I am now DMing it for my partner and friends, and it's been a blast to return to Barovia in the pilot seat >:)

As I am very predictable, I'm adding a bug theme to the module! All the major NPCs will have bug motifs in their designs (Ireena's is a crane fly), and a few more insectoid monsters and encounters to the module. (:
I've also decided that I want to draw a lot of the NPCs, given the bug-themed design changes, at least so that they have new token art! Ireena is the first character to get a new portrait, but I've got a sketch in the works for Alek, and I'll begin work on the rest of the Village of Barovia's residents soon. (:

I haven't done much research yet so the design is as simple as possible. gonna refine it soon. plus it turned out to be extremely difficult to find info on traditional hairstyles
AFAIK her eye color is not stated so I'm choosing between heterochromia (black/green), green, blue/turquoise, dark brown and green with brown spots... ugh. cursed be the choice paralysis.
