Tech's crossiants:

*Wrecker came home to find Tech and James baking in the kitchen*

James: *sitting on the kitchen counter* hi dad

Wrecker: hey, what are you two up to

James: baking

Tech: I made Crossiants, and be careful with them they're still hot

*James instantly grabbed one and took a bite*

James: mmmm light, buttery, flakey, these are delicious, forget the bakery, uncle Tech should become our private baker

Tech: you can try to make me do that James but you'll never succeed

Wrecker: it's true, I tried something  very similar once

James: *continuing to eat his Crossaint* I've got a challenge for him, try to stop me from eating more of these 

Then he called me dad:

*James calls Wrecker dad for the first time*

The next day:

James: *to Daniel with a shocked look on his face* then I called him Dad

Wrecker: *to the bad batch while sobbing tears of joy into his hands* then he called me dad

Put on my tombstone, I regret nothing:

*one April's fools Day Anthony and his friends, Nathan, Archie and Alfie are running around pranking the bad batch*

*Hunter eventually catches them and starts scolding them*

Nathan: *hiding a paint launcher behind his back and whispering* this is so tempting

Anthony: *whispering back* don't do it Nathan, do you want DEATH

*Suddenly a balloon of flour lands on Hunter's head after Daniel throws it at him*

Anthony, Nathan, Alfie and Archie: our hero

Daniel: *running from a very angry Hunter* Joey put on my tombstone that I REGRET NOTHING

*Joey facepalms and sighs long-sufferingly while next to him James giggles*

follow your dreams (dad Wrecker):

Wrecker, Katie, Colin, James and Allison all stood at the zone of where Brendam's latest fire had been.

James had wrecklessly ran into the house in an attempt to save the occupants unaware that the house was empty, and had gotten himself trapped as a result.

This lead to Wrecker having to save him.

Wrecker looked at Katie and Colin.

"Can you two head back to the station and explain everything to station officer Lloyd, I'm going to take James home." Wrecker said.

Katie and Colin nodded and climbed into Orion, driving back to the station.

Wrecker and James started heading home.

Wrecker picked up James and hoisted the boy onto his shoulder.

It was then Wrecker took in James' profile.

Ash from the fire coated the boy's clothes and a decent amount of it was on his face and hair as well, there was also the strong smell of smoke coming from both him and James.

He would definitely need a bath when they got in.

Just then Wrecker heard James yawn.

He looked at James and chuckled.

"Aww, is my little boy sleepy." Wrecker teased.

"I'm 8." James protested.

"You'll always be my baby angel, no matter what age you are." Wrecker told him.

James hummed and a moment later he yawned again.

"I am tired though." He mumbled.

Wrecker chuckled again.

"I'm not suprised, running around town all day long saving people does that to you doesn't it." Wrecker said.

James nodded rubbing his eyes.

The two soon made it home and Wrecker lowered James down from his shoulder.

He then unlocked the door allowing James to go in first, he then went inside and locked the door.

Wrecker looked at James.

"I'm gonna go run you a bath, I'll call you when it's ready." Wrecker said.

"Okay dad." James said nodding.

Wrecker went into the bathroom and began running James' bath.

After a few minutes Wrecker turned off the taps and checked the temperature of the bath.

Once he was satisfied he opened the bathroom door.

"James your bath is ready." Wrecker called.

"Coming." James called from downstairs.

James came up and went into the bathroom, closing the door behind him.

Wrecker turned away as James undressed and climbed into the bath.

"Okay dad, I'm ready." James called.

Wrecker nodded and grabbed a flannel cloth.

Kneeling down next to the bath he began scrubbing at James' face to get the ash off.

James laughed and squirmed slightly as Wrecker washed his face.

"Dad, that tickles." He laughed trying to pull away.

Wrecker chuckled and held him still.

"I know bud, but I need to get this stuff off." Wrecker said resuming his efforts to get the ash off of James.

After a few minutes he finally managed to get ash off of James.

"There, all off." Wrecker said.

He stood up.

"I'll leave you to relax for a while." Wrecker said.

James nodded.

Wrecker smiled and ruffled James's hair before leaving.

James leant back in the bath and closed his eyes.

He thought about everything that had happened today.

It felt good helping those people and he couldn't help but smile slightly when he remembered just how happy he'd made them.

He wished he hadn't been so careless earlier though, his mistake had put him in great danger and his dad had to save him.

He remembered just how worried Wrecker had sounded and felt bad he'd made his dad worry so much about him.

He was also glad Cynthia was away on a trip, he grimaced imagining the lecture she'd have no doubt given him.

Deciding to put aside the negative thoughts for now he decided to just relax.

He hadn't even realised he was beginning to drift off until Wrecker came back in.

"James, it's time to get out." Wrecker said.

James nodded and climbed out the bath, wrapping himself in the towel Wrecker gave him.

"I've got your pajamas all warmed up and laid on your bed for you." Wrecker said.

James nodded and left the bathroom to get changed.

Wrecker showered and changed into his own pajamas.

He went downstairs to find James sitting on the couch.

"Hey bud, wanna watch a movie?" Wrecker asked.

James nodded and eagerly scrambled over to sit on Wrecker's lap.

The two put on a movie and it began to play.

Partway through the movie James spoke up.

"Dad, do you reckon i could be a brave firefighter one day, like you and uncle Trix?" James asked looking up at Wrecker.

Wrecker smiled and ruffled James's hair.

"Of course you can, I was about your age when I decided I wanted to be one if I ever got the chance, 99 always told me to follow my dreams, I did so and look at me now, I'm the strongest firefighter in this town." Wrecker said flexing his muscles.

James giggled.

"Thanks dad." James said.

"Don't mention bud, and like I said, follow your dreams and they may just come true." Wrecker said.

By the end of the movie James was fast asleep.

Wrecker carried him up to bed and tucked him in.

Wrecker was just beginning to leave the room when suddenly turned around.

"But for me, my biggest dream was adopting you, and I'm glad it came true." Wrecker whispered before leaving the room.

hands

*a couple of police men were visiting Naboo elementary*

*Joey, Daniel, Rowan and James were looking at a police horse*

Elderly Policeman: hello boys, nice to meet you

Joey: you too sir

*he shook the policeman's robotic hand*

Policeman: beautiful horse isn't she

Daniel: *nodding* she's lovely

Policeman: how many hands do you reckon

Joey: *confused* hands

Policeman: just by looking how many hands

Daniel: *confused* what, you or the horse

*the others laughed while the Policeman rolled his eyes*

A bad batch summer chapter 1

Waterfight:

It was a warm summer day on Pabu and several of it's youngest inhabitants Omega, Boba, Cynthia, James, Joey, Daniel, Zander, Kordi, Rowan, Dante, Deke, Stak, Mox, Lyana, Jax, Sami and Eva all stood together down by the small fishing docks on the beach.

The group all held several fully filled water guns between them and were discussing what to do.

"So, is everything prepared?" Omega asked.

The kids all nodded.

"So what exactly is it we have do?" Deke asked.

"Well, we're going to split into two teams, and basically all we have to do is run around shooting each other with our water guns." Lyana said.

"What's the point of that?" Daniel asked confused.

"To have fun silly." Lyana giggled.

"Alright, who's leading the teams?" Joey asked.

"How about Omega and Lyana." James suggested.

The others nodded in agreement.

They split into two teams.

Team one consisting of Omega, Stak, Deke, Daniel, Joey, Jax, Zander and Rowan headed to upper Pabu while team two consisting of Lyana, Sami, Eva, Cynthia, Boba, Dante, James, Kordi, and Mox stayed at the docks.

Omega's team began scouring the town trying to find their newest victims.

Daniel, Jax and Deke were patrolling when they saw Wrecker sunbathing, the loud snoring coming from him told them he'd fallen asleep.

"This is just too good." Daniel grinned.

The three kids tiptoed over to Wrecker stifling giggles as they aimed their water blasters at Wrecker.

They aimed their blasters at Wrecker and fired.

There was a loud shriek of surprise as Wrecker awoke to a jet of water soaking him.

This was quickly replaced by a loud shriek of laughter as Wrecker grabbed the three kids and dangled them in the air.

"Okay you lot, what's going on, I was having a great nap, and suddenly it's like I fell in the ocean." Wrecker said.

"Well Wrecker, we're having a water battle, and we just thought." Jax said.

"That you'd give me a soak." Wrecker said finishing Jax's sentence, to which the mirilian nodded.

Wrecker chuckled and set the three down.

"Alright you guys very funny, now go play somewhere else." He said.

"You want to join Wrecker?" Deke asked.

"No thanks Deke, I'm going fishing with Shep, but make sure you get Crosshair for me." Wrecker said winking.

The kids giggled and ran off.

Two hours of fierce waterfighting later, including highlights such as Omega, and Lyana soaking Crosshair to the skin and Sami, Eva and Mox ambushing Tech and Phee from atop the weeping Mys tree resulting in a laughing Phee and a confused Tech the kids met up at the docks once more.

They were all soaking wet and out of breath from running all over the island.

"That was so fun." Eva said as she fought to get her breathing under control.

"Did you see Crosshair's face when we got him." Omega giggled.

"He looked so mad." Lyana said laughing.

"Found them." A voice yelled.

The kids looked and saw the adults behind them, holding water blasters of their own as well as very determined grins.

"What's going on?" Omega asked confused.

"Payback." Crosshair smirked and fired at Omega soaking her with a jet of water.

In peals of laughter the kids ran off followed by the adults determined to show the kids what a real water war looked like.

Bad batch summer

Ice cones:

The triplets try ice cones for the first time:

Lyana, James and Cynthia were heading to the market planning on showing the recently arrived cadet triplets, Mox, Stak and Deke Ice cones after the three cadets told them they'd never had it before.

"I still can't believe you guys have never had ice cream before." James said to the triplets as they walked.

"I mean, they never really had anything like that on Kamino." Mox said.

"Or with the empire either." Stak said.

"Well believe me you guys are gonna love it, there's so many different flavours, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, pecan, almond.." James said beginning to list of the many different flavours of ice cream.

He continued for a few minutes before Cynthia put a hand on her brother's shoulder.

"Ok James, I think they get it." Cynthia said trying to calm down her little brother.

James nodded.

"Are the ice creams good?" Deke asked Lyana.

"They're so good, Priscilla makes the best ice cream in all of Pabu." Lyana said.

They soon got to the ice cream stall, Priscilla looking up when she heard the approaching kids.

"Hi kids." She said.

"Hi Priscilla." Lyana, James and Cynthia said while Mox, Stak and Deke simply waved.

"What can I get you kids?" Priscilla asked.

Lyana, James and Cynthia ordered their usual flavours and after a while the triplets chose their own flavours, the group sitting down to enjoy their treats.

The triplets all eyed the ice cream with slight caution before digging in.

"Wow, this is amazing." Deke said.

"The best thing I've ever had." Mox said.

"I told you guys." Lyana grinned.

The group all sat and enjoyed their treats, the sun shining over them.

Barbecue:

One summer evening on Pabu The bad batch were heading to Shep's house, he was hosting a barbecue and had invited everyone.

The kids were practically pulling the adults along in their excitement.

"Cmon dad, we've been walking forever." Joey whined giving Cobalt an almighty tug forward.

"We've been walking for two minutes bud." Cobalt said as he was almost pulled off his feet.

"Yeah, forever, we're gonna be late at this rate." Joey said.

"Relax Joey, we won't." Cobalt said.

Just minutes later they arrived at Shep's where the man greeted them with one of his signature smiles.

"Hello friends, glad you could make it." He said.

Shep looked to the kids.

"Lyana is in the backyard if you want to see here." He added.

Shep quickly stood aside as the kids and Batcher charged through the door.

Laughing heartily the adults followed through the door and went into the garden where the kids and Lyana were already engrossed in conversation.

Soon Wrecker and Shep had gotten the barbecue started and a smoky smell had now enveloped the garden.

Daniel and James were chasing batcher around the garden, Boba, Zander and Rowan were talking with Mox, Stak and Deke about different ships they had seen and flown and Omega, Kordi, Cynthia and Lyana were sitting together having a whispered the silence interrupted by their frequent giggles.

Other guests soon arrived including Rex and several clones from the rebellion, Riyo Chuchi, Emerie, Phee and to everyone's surprise Rampart along with Jax, Sami and Eva.

"Hello Edmon, glad to see you." Shep said.

"It's a pleasure Shep." Rampart nodded before going and sitting next to Emerie while Jax, Sami and Eva went to the other kids.

Soon Shep, Wrecker and Gregor announced that dinner was ready and the kids eagerly ran over, even batcher and Lucky got a plate of food each. After the kids had been served the adults got their share of food and everyone dug in.

"Good as ever Gregor, you continue to impress." Rex said after a mouthful of fried porg.

"Oh Rex you honey dripper Gregor giggled pretending to blush.

Rampart took a bite of a pirg wing and he suddenly started gasping for breath.

"...To hot.." He gasped out.

Crosshair handed him a bottle from the cooler which Rampart took a large drink from.

"Can't handle your spices Edmon." Crosshair teased.

"Usually I can, but that was spicy even by my standards." Rampart said.

"Sorry about that, that must have been one of my fireball wings." Fireball piped up.

"What's the difference?" Rampart asked.

"They're much spicier than normal porg wings, that's how I got my name, cause I love spicy food." Fireball said.

"I see." Rampart nodded taking another drink of water.

Daniel was typing away on his tablet while chewing away at a pork chop with a healthy amount of apple suacce on it.

Nemec sat down next to him.

"Whatcha working on Danny?" He asked.

Daniel swallowed his food and wiped some sauce off his chin before awnsering.

"My own starfighter, I'm hoping to build it one day, once I'm old enough to do so anyways." Daniel said.

"Can I see?" Nemec asked curiously.

Dan nodded and passed Nemec the tablet.

Nemec whistled impressed.

"That's a nice looking fighter, I'd hate to be on the wrong end of that." Nemec said.

Daniel nodded his thanks blushing slightly with pride.

Sunset was approaching and by now the younger kids were getting tuckered out.

Sami, James, Lyana and Omega were passed out against Batcher who was curled up on the grass.

Eva had crawled onto Rampart's lap half an hour ago and was out cold, head resting against her adoptive father's chest.

Rampart was chatting with Martha along with Daniel who was fast asleep on his mother's lap similar to Eva.

Cynthia and Katie were chatting, about something funny, the two giggling on occasion.

Boba, Jax, Zander and the triplets were huddled together talking in low voices while nearby Kordi read a book with Rowan lying across her lap fast asleep.

Meanwhile Tech and Phee reatreted too the roof where the two watched the setting sun.

"It really is beautiful isn't it?" Phee asked.

"It most certainly is." Tech nodded in agreement.

The two shared a kiss together as the sun set and the others had fun.

A Smoothie:

Hunter: umm, what you got there Wrecks

Wrecker: *who found Cynthia and James and adopted them* a smoothie

QaA Part 2:

Interviewer: So Wrecker, I hear you and James you two like to go fishing together both on and off the show

Wrecker: oh totally, we like to go every couple of weeks, we actually caught one of our biggest fishes ever

*he looks at a photo James gave him*

Interviewer: wow, that's massive, how'd you catch it

James: well it almost ate me, but dad stabbed it between the eyes with a harpoon

Interviewer:....ok then

Next:

Interviewer: so, you three are the batch triplets

Mox: yep that's us alright

Stak: I don't know how we got that nickname

Deke: but after a while it just stuck

All three: can you imagine that

Interview:....yep, they're definitely triplets

Next:

Interviewer: *To Jax, Sami, Eva and Baryn* so, this is your first acting project, how are you finding it

Jax: oh definitely a fun experience, everyone on set is so nice, even Hemlock, which is absolutely unthinkable considering what his character on the show is like

Sami: it was certainly worth all the time it took for the auditions and filming, and we made some good friends

Eva: we'd certainly like to do it again, wouldn't we Baryn

Baryn: *coos*

Eva: *giggling* sorry, he's just so cute

Next:

Interviewer: Boba, Joey, Daniel you three certainly got to shine, members of the freedom fighters, that must have been fun

Joey: oh so cool, I've played video games like that before but I never thought I'd get to do it for real

Boba: it was great, it was fun showing those imperials what we could do

Joey: *smirking* Joey also has a crush

Daniel: *almost dropping his Nintendo switch* I do not have a crush on Sami

Boba: *grinning* no one mentioned Sami

Daniel: *blushes madly and hides his head between his legs*

Sleepover:

At the Rampart-Fett house Jax, Joey, Daniel and James were sitting together in Jax's room in their pajamas.

They were having a sleepover and were trying to figure out what to do.

"How about a game." Joey suggested.

"Like what?" James asked.

Joey rummaged in his backpack and pulled out a few items.

"How about we play some card games." Joey said pulling out a deck of cards

"Sounds fun." Jax nodded.

Joey nodded and arranged the cards to play a round of sabbac, getting a few stray credits from his backpack to use for the game.

"You wanna play Danny?" Joey asked Daniel who was sitting nearby working on one of his devices.

"No thanks, I'm good." Daniel said putting down the screwdriver in his hand and picking up a pair of plyers.

"What are you working on?" Jax asked.

"I'm making a few alterations to the portable movie player, basically I've not the viewing quality on it has been a bit hazy so I'm trying to improve it." Daniel said.

"You sure you can do it?" Jax said.

"Danny once took apart and reassembled our TV, I think he can this." Joey said confidently.

Daniel smiled and kept working.

Joey arranged the cards and the other three began the game.

They played a few rounds before Rampart and Fives called the group down for dinner.

The four went downstairs and were greeted to four plates stacked high with spaghetti and meatballs.

"Wow, this smells delicious dad." Jax said before tucking in.

"Thank you Jax, I'm happy I didn't let Fives cook it, not after last time." Rampart said giving Fives a look.

"It was only a small fire." Fives said defensively while the kids just laughed.

After dinner the kids began a spirited pillow fight which Rampart and Fives overhead.

They went up and gave the kids looks.

"I can't believe you kids are having a pillow fight." Fives said.

The kids looked at him.

"AND DIDN'T INVITE ME." Fives said joining in making the kids laugh.

Rampart watched the scene unfold.

"Fives, I thought we were going to watch a movie." Rampart said.

A pillow suddenly hit him in the face.

"Oh it's on." Rampart smirked, grabbing a couple of pillows and joining the fray.

After a while Rampart and Fives were worn out and Jax, Joey, Daniel and James were all panting for breath.

"Ok kids, Fives and I are going to watch a movie downstairs, you guys feel free to watch something up here, but try and get to sleep at a decent time alright." Rampart said.

"Ok dad." Jax said.

"Yes Mr Rampart." Joey, Daniel and James nodded.

Rampart and Fives smiled and left the room.

"So what do you guys want to watch?" Jax asked.

They all talked for a few minutes before managing to pick a movie.

Daniel put it in the dvd player and the kids were all surprised at how clear it was.

"Wow, the quality is so good." Jax said surprised.

"I told you Danny could do it." Joey replied giving Daniel a playful punch on the elbow.

Daniel just grinned.

Later that night Rampart and Fives found all the kids asleep and tucked them in before going to bed themselves.
