Engines ✨️
Guess what everybody? The world's most splendid red engine has just become the world's most splendid red plushie!!
I started making this James plush as a birthday present for my brother! And although I'm over two months late for the occasion (oops), I'm still glad to finally have this lad done ^v^
In terms of plushie features, the most notable thing is that the tender can be detached from the engine. I've also decided to put a coupling on the back of the tender which I've made to be comparable with any other train plushies I may end up making in the future.
In terms of plush construction, I should note that the baseboard is made of a block of upholstery foam I carved out, that way it'll keep its shape but still be squishy and huggable! Also, I used a thin sheet of acrylic foam for the cabin roof (but I'll probably use something else for the roof in the future since that thin sheet ended up warping at the edges and has a bit of a weird feel from the outside)

My bsf is moving away to Florida tomorrow morning and I decided to make them an oc based off of them. They requested that the oc had red hair like James the splendid engine because he’s their favorite ❤️ I’m going to really miss them, but it is not goodbye forever.

My Thomas AU I suppose? (Headcannons and what not)
Age
In this AU, everyone has the ability to become a human. Engines live for a significantly longer amount of time than an average human being does. Despite the fact that they can get older, their physical appearance doesn’t change. They’re kinda just eternally young. Engine years are much different from human years. An example being that my oc Pamelle is only around 30 in engine years even though she was built in 1920.
Speed + Strength
The engines (when in human form) are significantly faster and stronger. Their speed and strength in human form depends on the speed and strength of themselves in engine form (E.g. Percy can move at a speed of about 35 mph, meaning that he can go this fast in his human form)
Gender(s)
The engines can really be any gender they want, if they use enough energy then they can possibly make their human for the desired gender. Or they can just use an identity. Whatever floats their boat.
Shifting Form
It can feel uncomfortable at first, as their bodies are quite literally reforming into something they generally aren’t used to. It can be awkward to walk at first, but after some time it does eventually become easier.

What are the relationships between the characters of my au? Part 3
💚3️⃣ Henry:
💙1️⃣Henry tends to view Thomas as a younger brother or (almost) a son. He took care of Thomas for quite some time when Edward would leave to work. He cares for Thomas even though he might insult him sometimes.
🩵2️⃣Since he was one of the first to help build the railway of Sodor, he obviously had met Edward. He and Edward became quite close friends before Gordon had arrives, making them the original railway trio. To this day, their friendship continues to stay strong despite the fact that their trio isn’t exactly what it used to be. Not since James had arrived.
💙4️⃣He wasn’t too sure what to make of Gordon when first meeting him. As he eventually became more acquainted with Gordon, they started to take a strong liking to each other. Their relationship had eventually developed into something quite intimate.
❤️5️⃣He thinks James is much more annoying than Gordon. Despite acting like he can only tolerate James, he actually feels quite fondly of him, as he is one of his best friends.
💚6️⃣He views Percy like how he views Thomas, a younger brother. At first, Percy seemed to just be an annoying and cheeky little engine, as he would often scare Henry by weeshing loudly. Henry, however did eventually warm up to him and did start to bond more and more with him as time went on.
