Self Care Spell Jar

Ingredients: A piece of my hair. Sugar to sweeten my attitude. Lavender to help me keep calm and bring happiness to my life. Dandelion to make my wishes come true. Agrimony and Juniper, for protection. Mullen for courage and motivation. Cardamom pods to attract love and lust. Orange peel, for luck and happiness. Rose for self love. Jasmine for love and protection. Cinnamon for love and money. And my favorite ingredient .. Orchid flowers fully bloomed, for inner peace and a reminder that I to will bloom beautifully.

I put sage on the top of the jar for a final cleansing and sealed it up with a white candle.

“Almost There” Career Success Spell (Disney Inspired)

A spell to bring you success and advancement in your career or job.

You Will Need:

Aventurine

Basil

Cinnamon

Dried Ginger

Green Candles

Paper and pencil/pen

Jar with a Lid

Cinnamon Incense

Steps:

Light your cinnamon incense and your candles. Place them nearby as you work.

In the jar add your cinnamon, dried ginger and basil

Take your Aventurine in hand and whisper to it your desires of success and how hard you have worked. think about all the effort you have put into this job and fill the crystal with this energy and drive. Place it into the jar

On your paper write down more of how hard you feel you have worked, all of the effort you have put into the job and what you wish to achieve through success. Fold it up and place it in jar.

Let incense burn to ash (make sure it is fully out) and add it to your jar.

Screw on the lid and then seal it with the wax of the green candles.

Place in your home where you will see it every day. After a stressful day of hard work hold the jar and focus the effort you have put into the day and put it mentally into the jar like you did before. Do not actually open the jar (don’t want to break the spell)

You Will Need:

Set Up:

To set up this spell clean and clear an area, cleanse it as needed to prevent energy contamination. Make sure your playlist is set up and ready to play whether it’s through headphones or over some speakers from a phone or computer. If needed, put it on loop to ensure it plays the whole duration. Make sure you set up proper fire safety for this spell does require burning a candle down and over the container so make sure if needed there is wax paper or newspaper to catch any loose drips and that you aren’t working over carpet. Tie back all loose hair and roll up sleeves, due to motions that will take place near the flame. 

The Spell:

🎵 Turn on your playlist, if using speakers be courteous to any neighbors or roommates you may have and try not to have it too loud (especially late at night - don’t be that person)

🎵 Set up the jar or bottle you will be using and add in your herbs. The more herbs the stronger it is - though if it is a smaller container be sure to keep it from overflowing.

🎵 Once your herbs are layered in as desired add in your gemstones or shards

🎵 Screw the lid on tightly and place your candle on top, make sure as it burns it is able to melt over the lid of the container to seal it. Light it 

🎵 Once lit focus on the music playing and the energy it gives you, hold your hands to either side of the jar or container and focus that energy from the music through your body into the jar. Focus like this until wax is well melted from the candle on the jar lid and until you feel satisfied

🎵 If needed blow out or snuff out flame

🎵 Store somewhere safe but nearby. In times of dire trouble take far in hands or arms, hold it close without damaging or risking break to it and feel the energy from it enter you once more.

Pathfinder Inspired Spell: Itching Curse

A curse to use on someone who is getting under your skin no matter how many times you have told them to leave you alone. This is more for creeps and people who are pursuing you in an uncomfortable manner that it gives you the creepy crawlies when they are around. 

You will Need:

Gloves (working or gardening)

Stinging Nettle (fresh or dried)

Poppet of your choosing or a picture of the target

A jar that screws tightly shut

Green candle and a means to light it

Steps:

Place your candle and light it to let it burn as you work.

Place your poppet into the jar, glue it in if you desire your can leave it free.

With your gloves on, add a very generous amount of chopped, powdered or fresh nettle into the jar. Do not fill it completely but add quite a bit. Half full should be good.

Screw on your lid and make sure it is tight.

“Under my skin you have gotten, The negative feelings you have given me shall not be forgotten, You will squirm, itch and scratch, your discomfort to mine will match, May you feel the stinging nettles, until my own annoyances have settled.”

Shake your jar very roughly, putting in your frustrations and thinking about all the discomfort and itching this person has caused you. Put that into this jar as you shake it. 

Finally pour green wax from your candle atop the jar to seal it.

Shake the jar vigorously after the person has done something that you are uncomfortable with and does not stop when you ask them to. 

To break curse once person has stopped or learned their lesson, unseal it or break it.

“Powder Snow” Spell Jar (Pokemon Inspired)

A spell jar to remove one’s own romantic feelings for an ex or a toxic lover.

You Will Need:

❅ Jar or bottle with lid ❅ White Glitter ❅ Salt ❅ Dried White Rose Petals ❅ Ground Charcoal (artist) ❅ Garnet Chips ❅ Clear Quartz ❅ White Piece of Paper and Pen

Steps:

❅ On your piece of paper write down all of the reasons why you wish to remove your romantic feelings towards the other person. Write down the pain they have caused you and your wishes to be set free. Be sure to write this person’s name on the paper too. Set to the side

❅ In a bowl mix your salt, dried rose petals, glitter and charcoal (small amount). Stir counter-clockwise to banish these feelings for this person, visualize them freezing up into ice crystals and blowing away and out of your life.

❅ Carefully pour mixture into your jar and place your garnet chips and clear quartz on top

❅ Tear up your paper from the first step into tiny shreds. Put all of your desire to rid yourself of these emotions as you rip and tear them

❅ Add the small torn pieces into your jar and close it and seal it as you see fit.

❅ Keep somewhere at room temperature and close to where you frequent. Whenever you feel these feelings rearing up again, hold the jar and take deep breaths focusing on your desires to banish them from you. Use the energy of the jar for this.

Note: to break spell unseal jar and dispose of contents (properly)

Toilet paper pill box.

Another small fun project for recycling! These are perfect for little gifts and a cute way to send your jewelry to customers… it not only give a nice shell of protection to the treasures you put inside, its cost free, customizable and keeps recycling on the mind <3

All you need are - toilet paper rolls - decor ( i used stamps) - Tape or glue

Step one: decorate your roll. I used some of my stamps, but don’t limit yourself to just that… you can use old paper, photographs, tissue paper, paint,sharpie and whatever else you have laying around to decorate. Mod podge and some pattered paper would be fun!

Step two: Once your roll is decorated to your liking, fold down the corners on one end, making it look like little cat ears. Make sure they fold over each other so there is no open gap, and tape down  ( you can also glue the end down) * side note… if you dont like the look of regular tape, they sell something called washi tape? that comes in all sorts of amazing patterns!

-Step three: When you have some side sealed and taped down, wrap and place your item/treasures inside the box ( i wrapped up some earrings) and seal the other end, again making sure they fold over one another so there are no gaps.

- Step four… your done!

Again these are wonderful for gift giving and product packaging. Small, sturdy, cheap, recycled pill boxes…. you can use old paper towel rolls too! those are larger and can fit a bit more than TP rolls.

“I will no longer be hurt by memories from my past.” ~Spell Jar~

Ingredients-

Description-

So, there’s no real need for steps on this one, you simply gather the ingredients and place them in the jar. You can also draw sigils, or say an incantation if you wish. I created this spell jar to help ward off bad memories from some trauma I experienced as a child, but it could be used for anything, and any memories you feel burdened by! You can place it by your bed, carry it around with you, and meditate with it whenever you feel burdened by those memories. (The picture featured a baby pentacle, my rose quartz, citrine, and some pretty dried marigold flowers I have!)

♥♠Fae Jar Spell♠♥

A fae based/ energy good luck spell in a jar!

I tried to make an easy to do one for everyone.

Okay to start, what kind of energy or spell are you wanting? Say good luck, love or just a day to day energy boost. Sit down and have a talk with the fae first or after, up to you but do talk with them. Tell them what you want this jar’s magick to be and ask them if it is okay to do so. If the answer is no you will as least still have a cool shaker jar, if it works you should be able to tell very quickly.

Too make the jar you will need:

An empty jar: I used a small mustard jar for this.

Glitter: Pick colours that suit what you want the feel of the jar to be

A scented extract:I used Blackberry which was also coloured a dark red

Food colouring(optional): if you want extra colour

Baby oil: I suggest this over the um well leave in conditioner I used….I tried, I really did.

Water: duh

Orange or lemon peel: I used dried lemon

An herb that happens to mean a lot to you: For me that is nutmeg

Note: You can use purely just water or purely just baby oil as well.

Start by adding a small amount of water and then the extract. You want to add a few drops of the extract only and then fill the water to a half way point in the jar.

Add the food colouring and the glitter next. After that add the baby oil and the herbs to the jar. Make sure you fill it up most of the way. To seal the jar tight add a piece of ziplock bag under the lid and close as tight as you can. Anytime you need a bit of magick just shake. Add extras such a ribbon and a bit of wax on top and you are good to go!

A jar spell for a lover or a crush

Warning: If your love is not genuine, this spell will function the opposite way, bringing this person away from you.

❤️ Best done at 4am - 6am 

❤️ Good at full moons and new moons

MATERIALS:

❤️ Jar

❤️ Apple Seeds

❤️ A Handful of Almonds

❤️ A Couple of Leaves of Spearmint

❤️ A Cinnamon Stick

DIRECTIONS:

1. Put a handful of almonds into your jar. This is the soil for a good relationship.

2. Put in one apple seed. Think of everything that you love about this person and imagine this seed growing a flower that represents that.

3. Put in a second apple seed. Think of why you would be a good match for this person and visualize this seed growing into a flower that would represent that.

4. Add your final apple seed, and visualize everything that you are looking for in this relationship and imagine it growing into a tree that would represent that.

5. Arrange your spearmint as if it were the flower that has grown. This will protect and cleanse your relationship. 

6. Lean your cinnamon stick against the side of the jar (inside). This is the tree that will protect you from judgement and shade you from self-doubt.

7. After completing the spell, charge for at least 3 hours in bright daylight. If you wait a while before charging it, that’s okay. Make sure that you create the jar on either a full moon or a new moon. 

8. Spray with rose water if you wish.

9. Enjoy!

Honey Jars

A little history:

Honey jars are used to “sweeten” a person or a situation towards you. They originated and are still used frequently in hoodoo. When honey jars were originally used the sweetening agent that was used was according to the persons skin color. For example if someone’s was trying to sweeten a white male or female to them they would use sugar water/corn syrup, a black male or female brown sugar water/molasses, etc. When these jars originated they were often used to sweeten people to another’s will, however, they can be used to sweeten a situation as well.

How to make a honey jar:

The example I’m going to give is for a simple money-honey jar. Let’s say you were having some trouble with the flow of your money, you could use this jar to sweeten up money and bring it your way. You will need:

1. Honey or some other sweetening agent ( As stated in the past originally the sweetener was selected based on skin tone if used on a person, however if you are sweetening a situation to you, in my experience it has never mattered what I used. I have had positive results with maple syrup, and also honey. By default, I usually just use honey.)

2. Patchouli

3. Bay laurel

4. Cinnamon sticks or powdered cinnamon

5. Allspice

6. Any kind of oils you feel resonates with your purpose (fast luck, better business, money, etc) this is *optional, I just like to use oils in mine

7. A jar or container with a metal lid, mason jars are perfect for this. A cheap alternative is baby food jars if you don’t want something too big)

8. A candle (color selected based on purpose. E.g green for money)

9. Coins and dollar bills *optional (if you don’t feel comfortable using real money you can use fake money. Most dollar stores sell this)

10. A paper stating your intention. (I write my petitions on brown paper bag but you can use whatever you like)

I assemble my jars using a layered method. So, a little bit of honey, herbs, more honey, more herbs, etc until I have incorporated everything.

Of course all the herbs listed here can be substituted for any you like to use to draw money. If you make a honey jar for a debt you owe, bank dirt would be great to use in here.

Once your jar is assembled, you can write money signs on the lid or underneath it, or even sigils if not that’s okay too. You would then burn the bottom of the candle your using just so it’s a bit melted and stick it to the lid of the jar.

You could then dress the candle if you’d like for extra oomph but that’s optional. You’d then light your candle and let it burn completely down. These jars are meant to be kept somewhere. When you feel they need a little refreshing, you could burn another candle on top. Or burn another candle on a certain day every couple weeks or really whatever you want.

If letting a candle melt down all over the jar is too messy for you, I have used 7 day novena glass encased candles as well and that has worked fine for me. I’ve also used birthday candles and had great results too. It’s all about intention Tip: it’d be a good idea to write your name and birthday somewhere in or on this jar just as a tag lock. You can also use hair if you’d like.

Freeze: A general ice binding

A basic binding spell my grandmother taught me. She called them hex jars, but Ive foind the effects to be better suited to a binding.

You will need:

A jar with lid

Water

A taglock, even if its just their name on a piece of paper

(OPTIONAL) vinegar, “for a taste of their own”

How to:

Place taglock in jar.

Add water and if desired vinegar. Remember to leave space for the ice to expand as it freezes. I generally only fill the jar ¾ full.

Focus on the aspects of your target you want to bind. Add your energy to the jar.

Seal the jar and freeze it. As long as it stays frozen your target shall be bound.

🍾what is a jar spell, and how is it different?

a jar spell is when the ingredients of a spell are combined or layered together in a jar, as opposed to a spell which would have varied and specific actions for each herb or stone. it is simpler and tends to cast a general effect or status, rather than bring about a direct action. 

🍾how to use

often after sealing the ingredients together, you can keep in in the house or on your person as a charm to benefit from its magical effects. as with a witch’s bottle, a popular jar spell, is sometimes buried or hidden on a property to grant the entire area its effects. if you feel a jar spell is wearing down, you can unseal it and recharge it with energy, from moonlight for example, and then reseal it. 

🍾there’s mold in my jar!

that’s because you sealed in moisture. to clean it, you way want to let some water/bleach combination soak inside it, or depending on the size of the bottle, wash it as with any dish or clean the inside with a q-tip and disinfectant. 

🍾how to dispose?

you can dispel its magical effects however you like, but often enough simply the act of pouring out the contents is enough to be rid of the spell. 

Jar Spell for Clarity 🍇

a simple springtime spell for emotional/mental clarity and wisdom

🍇 gather: raspberry, amethyst, bay leaf, sage, and sunflower seeds or petals

🍇 in a bowl, crush the raspberry. soak the close of the jar in the juice

🍇 fill the jar with dried bay leaf, sage, and sunflower seeds.

🍇 seal the jar carefully with wax of the color most calming to you

🍇 charge with amethyst as needed, shake to invoke

this jar spell started out as a sweet dreams spell, but more makes dreams easier to interpret so you can figure out wht the heck is up with your life !

(I know most of the ingredients are improvised. as they say, it’s all about intent anyway!)

1 bud of lavender- for clarity and sleep

peppermint (I used a tea bag) - dreams, happiness

rosehip (i used a tea bag) - protect against nightmares

sugar- to sweeten your dreams

Rose (I used rosewater, 1 drop) - to sweeten dreams

Amethyst (beads are best) - to balance emotions and prevent nightmares

thread (i used that from the teabags!

Carefully attach the thread to the amethyst and tie it to the outside of the jar

Layer the ingredients, other than the amethyst, with the lavender on top

seal your jar with wax or a candle. I always “seal with a kiss” out of pure habit

Burn a candle on on near the jar to charge

Leave near the head of your bed as you sleep

enjoy some clearer dreams and hopefully, a clearer outlook on life!
