SERIOUS SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON TWO

anyway half monologue/my initial reactions and then final comments

THEY PUT CHISHIYA IN THE JACK OF HEARTS GAMEEEEEEEE

i didn’t think we’d be able to see the jack of hearts game cuz it was originally a game without any main charas but holy shit we have it. yes oh my god

(and the king of clubs ending THEY DID IT SO WELLLLLLLLL they did it so fucking well that hit so hard when i read that and the way they adapted it was amazing…the whole ethos of the king, and how arisu interacted with him was so captivating when i read it and it was portrayed in a way that made me feel those emotions again)

augh,,,the king of diamonds followed by the three way standoff in the crossing and then the king of spades. fuuuuuuuck the end of spades was brutal. kuina and an <333 they’re so fucking. team.

THE FILM FROM THE COMMUNE THAT SCENE,,,,

chishiya and niragi bleeding out under the cars,,,aguni and hatter,,,,arisu and usagi heading off for the queen of hearts. i’m just at the end of the seventh episode. man. one game left. one game left.

ughhhugfjthfuahdkdoaodkkalwoov fuckkkkkkkkkk. Emotions

i was so curious how they’d do the whole mental bit in queen of hearts

i have one issue that they didn’t say that the tea was laced and that was what prompted arisu’s suggestibility, which probably wouldn’t be intuitive for first time watchers/non manga readers

but the way the meteor was portrayed, how all the cast was gathered in the crossing, the hospital with ann being revived and chishiya and niragi and arisu’s brother and akane and aguni and. the part that Got Me So Bad when kuina was reunited with her mother. and her father was there too. and it was just. aughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Man fuck. crying in the damn club they did so welllllll

the fucjing interlude with karube and chota in the bar. fuck. man

the vfx, the stunts, the cinematography was incredible. the way they incorporated the wildlife growing so quickly and diff things rotting at diff speeds in order to blend with the manga overgrown setting,,,,

they cut doudou from the cast, which, fair but akane and aguni and the spades king felt really really different as a game than the original material, esp without the split and reunion and ‘family’ bonding. since it had to be modified so drastically to make arisu a key part of it. that felt really different than like, the jack of hearts, since that had a rigid self contained game structure to incorporate chishiya in

though also a point about that, they didn’t have the jack of heart’s fake eye and they changed the arena from having no reflective surfaces in the first place to no /using/ any reflections. i was kind of excited for the eye reveal in the cell after banda and the businessman leave him in there but, oh well

and definitely the severity of wounds, while depicted in accurate looking gore, is much much much Much lower than reality, honestly, jesus, akane’s full body bullet hell, the amount of time everyone spent bleeding out was unrealistic even in the manga, and ofc the ability to dodge gunfire, protagonist’s halo style

but those are small small complaints in the beautiful fuckin whole. just amazing. the happiness rush i’ve been on is incredible. i’m really glad i get to watch this and have it mean so much to me. the sheer delight of watching aib has been. i Care so fuckin much i did not realize until. i started watching but my god.

Scenario:

One day, few of the executives and Hatter returns to the Beach with a child inside the car. Hatter requests for a meeting immediately to decide who would take turns taking care of the child, but the child wakes up before any final decision is made and is surprised to see y/n / reader, calling her "mommy!" before getting up on their feet to hug her legs.

Arisu:

Would be just as surprised as you when the child that looked no older than three years old comes running to you, calling you her mommy and hugging your leg with her small arms. Arisu wondered why would a child get transported here - but his train of thoughts would cut off when you accepted responsibility for the child. Having no choice, Arisu agrees to accepting responsibility as well. When the meeting adjourned, he would crouch down to meet eye to eye level with the child, holding his hand out to her and introducing himself as papa.

Chishiya:

Sees the child as a liability and is about to request someone else to take care of her but stopped and turned his head to face you when you accepted responsibility for the child. A million thoughts would start floating inside his mind, surviving is your supposed priority and not a well being of a child. Chishiya honestly is opposed to your decision and for the remainder of the day decided not to talk to you and keep his distance but made sure you were under his watchful look. And while he watched you taking care of the child - putting her to sleep, feeding her or holding her small hands in yours, a foreign feeling would melt his insides.

Niragi:

Would scare the child to get away from you. Only wants to be the one to get your attention and deep down he knows he's not good with children. Being a child once himself, he never had fun or memorable experiences, only bad ones. And in this world, he vowed to inflict pain on others. There were times wherein his mind would darken, thinking what if he kills the child. But the sight of you giving motherly care towards the unknown baby made him think twice. Because at one point, there was still some good in his childhood and he could not bare be the reason of your anger or sadness.

Last Boss:

Doesn't entirely know why you would take responsibility for a child you don't even know or is part of your family tree. When the meeting is over, he'd try to shoo or tell the child to run away, only to get scolded by you. One day, the child found him interesting and decided to raise her small arms up at him, wanting to be carried by him. He stared at the child for a solid minute before bending down and carrying her in his arms.

Usagi:

Is honestly worried for the child because she knew that her real parents are in the real world, looking for their child. And since you accepted responsibility, she'd be happy to look out for her as well. During game times, she'd tell the child to play hide and seek with her, instructing her not to come out of her hiding spot until she clears the game for them.

Kuina:

Would worry for you and how you would be able to play the games and the environment the child is in for the rest of her stay here. The Beach isn't exactly a child friendly place and therefore, she'd take the child on a stroll to places within the Beach that are quieter and more peaceful. Would ask Hatter to be in the same games as you and the child so she could help look after.

I’m seeing Chishiya get a lot of credit for carrying his games (which he deserves, he absolutely fucking soloed), but I think y’all are sleeping on Kuina tbh. My girl was out here never giving up on her friends, kicking absolute ass in her games, keeping focused on why she was still fighting, maintaining a positive attitude like 90% of the time. And she did all of it while fully committed to the bikini top fit. Put some respect on her name QUICKLY

Me Kuina Arisu and Usagi arrived at the king of clubs game when Kuina brought up Chishiya.

“Do you guys think he will be okay? Chishiya I mean”

“I think he’ll be okay, he’s a smart guy” Arisu stated comforting her. I wont lie I was worried about him but after what he did at the beach I still refuse to talk to him.

Flashback

“Chishiya!” I yelled stomping over to him angry as ever.

“What’s wrong?”

“How could you do that to him” i yelled with tears running down my face after finding out he burnt Niragi at the top of the beach.

“Do what to who?” ofc course hes acting confused.

“To Niragi”

“y/n I was doing it for your safety, he’s not a good person. He’s dangerous.”

“Are you kidding me right now? He was my boyfriend he was one of the only people that made me happy in this fucked in world!” I hit his chest crying because i just lost my boyfriend… so i thought

End of flashback

After all that, I refuse to talk to him at all. Sure I feel bad for it but he hurt me really bad, I do hope he’s okay though.

“So we finally have 5 players” someone from behind us said, we all turned around and saw Niragi standing there.

“You mean, your alive?” Arisu said looking at us and then back to him. Niragi tilted him head making a slight hum as confirmation.

“No, there’s no way i’ll be on a team with that jerk, he’ll never cooperate with us!” Kuina yelled at Usagi me and Arisu.

“My only goal is to enjoy these games, so if you don’t want to play with me then just fuck off”

“Who cares what his goal is, we either play this game and survive or we die to our visas or the king of spades.” usagi said to all of us while grabbing a wristband putting it on. Arisu did the same along with me.

“Ah fine” Kuina rolled her eyes clearly not wanting to play with niragi. The sound of the door opening startled us, but we walked in the door niragi following us.

“Didn’t know someone could live after being set on fire and after falling off a building.” I said my eyes tearing up seeing his beautiful skin all scared and him wrapped from his legs to his torso.

“Why are you crying? I’m still here, there’s no need” Niragi said cupping my face in his hands wiping my tears that had just fallen from my eye.

I pulled him into a soft hug being careful not to hurt him at all.

“I’m not made of glass y/n, you can hug me properly.” He pulled me into a tight hug kissing the top of my head mumbled something that i cant quite make out.

“I’ve missed you so much Niragi” i whispered into his chest.

“I missed you to, i love you so much y/n” he said taking my face into his hands again and pulling me into a passionate kiss. I kissed him back and once we pulled away he linked our fingers together and going up to the others to play the game.

Chishiya x reader

You took a deep breath but then Hissed at the sudden pain it brought you. You had been helping your friends take down the King of spades...You had atleast two or three gun shots. Two in your chest and one in your leg.

Usagi had just left the alley way to find arisu even with her leg being stabbed..Kuina was laying on the ground focusing on her breathing beside Ann. She stares at your attempt to stand. You got up but quickly had to hold on to the wall as your leg almost gave out.

You only had one leg to get to Him...When Arisu had reaveld that He would show the way Chishiya was if you helped them, you didnt have a choice..Wobbiling out of the alley you look up to see Arisu carrying Usagi bridal style and he looks worried for her. Hearing footsteps Arisu looks up at you.

"Which way..."

You said weakly. Arisu remembered what he had said. He nodded at the way since he couldn't point with Usagi in his arms. You didn’t even consider saying 'thanks' or 'bye'. You just started walking...Or more so, you tried your best to walk. He could be anywhere....You had no idea what you were thinking. You would probably not even find him. You walked quite the way to find niragi leaning back against an Abonded car.

You had always had a problem with niragi. He saw a figure covering the sun from him, and he opened his eyes and looked up at her. He knew you were looking for chishiya. Stupid people...stupid love.

"Niragi.."

You addressed him, and he scoffs and looks off to the side. He understood you were in a bad condition.. He could easily take you over now if it wasn't for his own pain. He coughs and avoids your e/c Eyes.

"Your prince is waiting over there."

He stares in the direction Chishiya sits, Hes a bit far away from them. Far enough to not hear their words. You stare at him before limping towards the way he told you. You were met with a sight of Chishiya sitting down, leaning back against a car resting.

"Shiya.."

You feel a wave of calmness hit you and you let go of a breath you didnt know you were holding. He hears your soft voice that was like a whisper. He could hear your hurried footsteps but also the dragging of your injured leg. His calm eyes open as you did your best to sit down beside him. A loud wince was heard from you and he quickly examined your condition.

"Your hurt."

He stated softly, Inside he Felt bad for not protecting you and he wished he could wrap up your wounds. But you smile so sweetly at him.

"You are too, y'know?"

You already understood Niragi was the reason for his injuries. He felt you lean into his side that wasn't injured. And he leaned back against you. He gave the side of your head a kiss and just sat there with you. Neither one of you had the energy to do anything else.

Time moved like seconds as you two sat there, Before you knew it you heard the fireworks and saw the beautiful colors in the sky.

"Shiya...They did it..."

Chishiya smiles and nods, The Loud voice then was heard from the sky...'Your now allowed to pick either to stay here as a citizen or Leave to go back to the real world." A woman's voice said that sounded made up said.

You look up at him, and he stares up into the sky.

"I wanna leave.."

He said with a small smile as you copied his words. You even heard Niragi say he wants to leave from afar. Your hand that is intertwined with his gives him a squeeze. He looks down at you with confused eyes as you look scared.

"Shiya, Promise me that you will go look for me in the real world again...? Please..."

He still has that confident glint in his eyes as he kisses the side of your face.

"I promise, Y/n.."

Then everything went black.

Chishiya stares at the unfimilar man in the bed beside him.

"What the fuck are you staring at?"

The man rasped, half of the man's body was covered in bandages.

"I heard your heart also stopped for a whole minute.."

Chishiya said with his normal face, He felt like he had forgotten something important..

"So what?"

The man spat, seriously not caring a shit. He sighs.

"Do you feel like something in you changed?"

He doesnt really know why he is asking. A part of him feels missing...more then before.

"Not really...Guess I just look flashier now. What about you?"

The man chishiya already knews name was Niragi suguru. What happend now again...?

"...I lived a useless life..but now..im gonna make up for it..."

The way chishiya said that so casually made niragi laugh but he stops when he hears their room door opening, A woman stood there. She looked like she's here for the same reason as they were.

"Ah, im sorry! This is the wrong room.."

Chishiya looked over at her and examined her closely...Then your eyes met, he felt his missing spot getting filled once more as he heard you say his name nickname you gave him.

"Shiya...?"

Not you randomly remembering his nickname and saying it out loud.
