can not WAIT for season 2, simply to see how they cast people. would love to see if Dina is the girl Ellie yelled at in episode 6. and Jesse! was he in season 1 as a background character? what are Yara and Lev gonna look like? are they gonna cast a trans kid for Lev? I hope they do :) who's Abby gonna be? did we already see her in episode 9?

and the cameos? I hope they cast both the voice actors and the body actors. would LOVE to see Cascina and Jocelyn and Laura somewhere in the season. like Cascina could play Dina's older sister, Talia, and I haven't thought of who Jocelyn or Laura could be, but I want them all in there, at least. I don't know who all had two different actors for one character, though

Have You Guys Heard Of The Traveller?

“Have you guys heard of the Traveller?”

4/8/20– A doodle of everyone’s favorite trickster Cleric, Jester Genevieve Lavorre!

I honestly thought she was going to be my favorite character when I first started watching critical role because everyone loved her— alas, then the dirt wizard showed up and my heart was stolen. Jester is still in the top 2 though! She’s the perfect mix of vulgar, cute, and violent— no wonder everyone is in love with her.

Reblogs help artists a lot, and are greatly appreciated!

Being Marisha Ray’s Younger Sibling | Critical Role cast x child reader

Summary | I was going to write bing adopted by Travis and Laura did this instead.

Genre | platonic, fluff

You are the younger sibling of Marisha Ray, (y/n) Jude Huber, and your big sister absolutely adores you.

Despite the huge age gap and distance between your lives, your big sister is your best friend.

Chances are she’s bragging about you to the rest of the Critical Role cast a lot. (They already consider you an honorary member before they’ve even formally met you.)

There’s no doubt about it, your Matt’s favorite little Critter.

If Marisha doesn’t introduce you to DnD, Matt will, and if she does, Matt will “properly” introduce you.

You can bet each time Matt and Marisha visit, you're inviting all your little friends for a kid friendly one shot at least once during their stay. (Matt will swear a party of grade schoolers is easier to manage than the Crit team)

You definitely braid Matt’s hair at least once.

You might not be able to watch the live stream because it’s past your bedtime, but Marisha definitely sends you the highlights over the weekend.

You absolutely adore your big sister, nonetheless you also love hoodies. Marisha might be fuck sleeves, but you are fuck tanks.

Your parents and Marisha situate so that during school breaks such as summer or spring break, etc you're able to stay in California with Matt and your sister.

Which leads to your first in person introduction to the rest of the Critical Role staff.

(You’re five the first time you meet them in person and they’re just starting arc five of campaign one.)

You’re a pretty well-behaved child for your age, because of this, and so that you can spend more time with your sister, you’re allowed to accompany her to work.

The whole Crit role staff would be obsessed with you.

Especially Laura Bailey.

This woman would love you as if you were her own. She’s always the first one to volunteer when Marisha needs someone to look after you.

You were her baby before she had her baby.

If someone finds you with sweets, 99.9% of the time you got them from Laura.

Liam and Sam are like your uncles in a lot of ways.

Both having young children of their own, they have an idea of what sort of things you’re into.

Having said that, you’re not their kid, so they don’t have to follow the same rules. Did someone say bad influences, fun uncles?

With Marisha’s blessing, Sam has had you on for some of his ad reads. According to him, your cuteness is marketable.

There are playdates with Sam and Liam’s children.

You’re heartbroken when you hear that Liam’s character, Vax, has died. There are tears.

Which absolutely breaks the cast because they hate to see you sad.

You’re upset with Matt and snuggly with Liam for a while.

While Liam and Sam are the fun uncles, Ashley is the fun aunt.

You two have matching super cool sunglasses.

She always makes it believable that she didn’t let you win Just Dance.

You and Ash will be belting out songs in the car when you’re in her care, she even lets you say the bad words.

Travis calls you lil” K or Little Kentucky. Which you have led you to calling him big Tex’.

You, much like your sister, have a relationship only comparable to that of a brother and sister with Travis.

If you’re in a particularly sour mood, Travis’s Texan accent is usually enough to turn you into a barrel full of laughs.

You enjoy saying, “yeehaw,” or “ride ‘Em cowboy whenever Travis enters the room. (Sam definitely supports this).

He’s made it his mission to turn you into a Cowboys fan, much to your dad’s chagrin.

Taliesin, this guy might just be your favorite outside of Matt and your sister. They’re just so weird.

You start a childish investigation to find out if they're a real life vampire.

When you get too close, Taliesin makes you his minion, tasking you to spread mischief wherever you deem fit.

For the first week after you’d met them in person, only five, you were convinced their name was Talespin.

Which led to a running joke amongst the others, singing bits of the theme song now and then when you’d get the name wrong.

You beg to dye your hair the same way they do so you can be matching. To pacify you, Marisha agrees to the temporary hair chalk.

When you’re a bit older, you do get to dye the ends electronic blue.

Always messing around behind camera with Brian, or Max, who are usually assigned babysitting duty.

Henry is your bestest California friend in the whole wide world.

There’s always a week at the end of the summer where they tone down the inappropriateness so they aren’t sending you, the angel, back to your parents completely fallen from grace.

As for the Critters.

There was a definite period where there were rumors circulating you were one of the cast members' kids. (Popular theory being you belong to Laura and Travis).

Often showing up in the background, passing through sets, or just a small voice off screen, the critters were curious.

The cast, especially your sister, was careful to keep your face out of social media posts. When you were pictured, your face would be covered by an emoji or shrouded from view.

Then you landed your first voice acting role as a recurring character on Disney channel’s Sofia the First. You were to voice the youngest royal sibling, Ethan/Anna (sshhh, just pretend they’re a character.)

Omg Travis voices King Roland. I didn’t even realize til I wrote this.

Your sister just had to brag, which lead to your formal introduction to the Critter community, “Our favorite little Critter just landed their fist role!”

Suffice to say, the Critter community, for better or worse, lost their minds. Many praised your accomplishment and voiced their opinion on how adorable you were. Others complain and criticize, probably out of jealousy for your close relationship with their favs.

The negative comments were largely drowned out by the positive ones and those that managed to draw attention were hidden from you, as your sister was in charge of your new media presence.

If someone ever does step to you while you’re staying with your sister, they’ve just placed an invisible target on themselves that all the Crit role staff would love to aim for.

The Critters beg for you to make a guest appearance just once in their campaign.

They decide to make that one of their stretch goal rewards for their Vox Machina Kickstarter.

A goal the Critter’s quickly surpassed.

This you make your DnD Critical Role debut during the second campaign.

You sat right next to your sister between her and Travis, which allowed them to help with the math.

You’re obsessed with Laura and Travis’s baby.

Almost seven(?} at the time, you played a child changeling/warlock who was on the run because of their unruly magical abilities.

You were so believably awkward, and apologetic, and humor was soon to follow whenever your character's magic would have a mind of its own.

Your character’s relationship with Liam’s Caleb quickly became favored by the Critters.

Your little annoyingly curious warlock and his rough around the edges wizard.

You made it to the end of the episode but not without having to roll some death saving throws after a misfire on Liam's account.

Luckily, Taliesin and Laura refused to let you die. Marisha definitely gave Liam a few good slaps for nearly killing your character.

Nonetheless, your character survived to part ways, but left the possibility open for returning and maybe even studying under Caleb one day.

A cute moment the chat loses their minds over.

There’s plenty of art of your character apprenticing under Caleb.

The Critters immediately begin to campaign your character’s glorious return.

You are an amazingly kind and talented child.

As you get older, you take more of an interest in voice acting resulting in you moving out to California full time (you, of course, still love and visit your parents).

You’re a DnD master in the making.

You’re an endlessly positive and humorous child to be around and work with.

Marisha lucked out in the sibling department.

All the Crit cast loves you

And to you, they’re your other family.

There’s nothing they won’t do to ensure you have a happy and full childhood.

Because as far as they’re concerned, you’re their kid.

Being the Youngest Critical Role Member | Critical Role cast x child reader

Summary | You are five years old and newest member of the main Crit cast for Campaign 1

Genre | platonic, fluff

You were invited to join the campaign by Liam, your godfather. He and your parents had been teaching you the game since you started to display a basic grasp of mathematics. Moreover, you’d been sitting in on their home games since you were an infant.

You’d met Matt a couple of times before through your parents’ work with him. You always liked him. He didn't talk down to you as most adults did and seemed to genuinely listen when you made your childish rants.

Under the supervision of one of your parents, you and he created quite the flavorful PC. One that allowed you to come and go as you needed without feeling out of place in the overall narrative.

You were playing a young magic user following the commands of an unseen patron on the quest to avenge your fallen family. Originally you’d wanted a family member as your patron, but Matt’s suggestion allowed room for more improvisation.

Just as your parents had taught you to be, you were as polite as possible during your first session. Which translated into your character. You introduced your character as a child, selling all manners of enchanted weapons they’d retrieved to make ends meet as they traveled Tal’dorei.

Everyone at the table, the first time you spoke, in that instant made up their mind you were a cinnamon roll to be protected.

However, their characters had mixed views; Percival was suspicious as Talisin had rolled high to perceive how you’d attained your magical merchandise; Scanlan was intrigued, amused by your character’s puerile tales of adventure; Grog was interested in a tusky club; the twins were both charmed, you’ve got pluck; Pike, well intentioned, was concerned about your lack of supervision; and Keyleth trusting as ever took an interest in the tales of how you’d retrieved such goods.

Suffice to say, the chat thought you and your half-elven PC were the cutest things. Even your PC’s klepto means of restocking only added to their charm.

You really brought the energy your first time playing with the cast. At first they’d walked on eggshells, taking it easy on you. However, they realized quickly that you were completely capable of holding your own. Liam couldn’t be more proud.

Initially, you’d only join the campaign every once in a while, when the stream and the night staying with godfather correlated. You did have kindy work and a bedtime schedule to consider.

You were a genuine delight both in game and out. The party missed you when you were unable to accompany. Though, Liam did FaceTime you before streams so everyone could check in.

Matt kind of just falls into a pseudo big brother role. (Which is dangerous considering his task as the DM.)

If you mention off handed that they’re something you’d wish to retrieve or witness in the game, there’s a good chance, if possible and plausible, he’ll make it so. You once told Marisha you wanted a pet, only because you’d seen cute images of familiars online. Three sessions later, you had a toad, whom you named ‘Crab’

You always look forward to the ren fair when you know Matt will be there. He makes a big show of you “slaying” him with your toy sword. Moreover, he’s a champion at the craft table and lets you sit on his shoulders to watch tournaments.

His heart breaks when he’s forced to combat your PC. The little pout you make when you’re knocked unconscious. It takes everything in him to stop himself from giving you all your hit points back without rolling.

The Critters miss you when you’re gone. However, because Matt begins to say “Goodnight little critter, sleep well” before break, they’ll blow up the chat with goodnight messages for you as well as others tapping out of the chat at that time.

You develop a fake rivalry with Sam. For the stream. Ever since Liam told you you’re his favorite and Sam remarked, “I thought I was your favorite.” There’s been a contest, all in good harmless fun, of course.

Off camera Sam’s your self proclaimed godmother. Doting but not spoiling.

Your two families, along with Liam’s, made a habit of having Saturday brunches together every second Saturday of the month. You thoroughly enjoyed seeing Riegel's children.

Sam, both in game and out, would attempt to involve you in his tame shenanigans. Knowing how easily the other cast members were charmed by you made you the perfect accomplice.

He does tease you, but picks up quickly when you’re not in the mood. If you allow him, he’ll offer a comforting hug and let you sit on his lap during the stream, though he does understand sometimes you just want space.

Ashley throws off the vibes of an older sibling's best friend who makes an effort to chill with their friend's younger sibling. While she can be a bit of a mama bear, she’s still your friend.

She suggested you go out for a part in “Blindspot” auditioning for the role of Oakley “Oakes” Wagner. Succeeding on your own talents, you managed to obtain the spot. Thus, on occasion, as your role was only reoccurring, you had the opportunity to work alongside Ashley in New York.

While in the city she often indulges your Lego wants, treating you to a new set, the two of you can work on constructing together while on break between filming.

When roleplaying, your two PCs get along well enough. When you’re patron is discovered to have been lying, tricking you into murdering your own family. Pike does their best to heal one of them. While it fails, you are allowed some final words with the person. For that, you are grateful.

Every now and again, when she was recruited to babysit, Ashley offered to take you out for ice cream after streams. You’d get to snuggle with Sully and Henry while watching the classics, such as Iron Giant, E.T., Back to the Future, etc.

Tears spilled from your eyes when Matt told of the illusion fading and revealed the people you’d fought off, believing them your enemies, were actually your family. Everyone was a total mess, caught speechless as you roleplayed. After the cameras stopped running, you were bombarded with questions about your emotional state; are you okay? Matt is so apologetic for making you cry.

Liam couldn’t be more proud as you wiped your eyes and beamed, proclaiming that was the coolest session ever. You couldn’t wait to tell your kindy friends about it during circle time.

Everyone does their best to make sure when you’re on set you feel comfortable and safe in the busy production environment. There is always someone with you to keep you company, though there are times you have to accompany them to some boring meeting or other.

Of the cast, Travis is your best friend, usually up for keeping you entertained with board games, tea parties, or imaginative play. Your favorite is playing superhero because he’ll spin you around to give you the impression of flight.

You follow him around, attempting to sneak up and scare him. Initially, your little jumps work, but soon he comes to expect them. Still, he feigned fear.

Outside of Liam, Travis is always the first person you want to tell about your day. Whether it’s about a cute dog you saw or a fact you learned by chance, no matter, he gives you his full attention.

Travis is determined to turn your character against Vax, in his and Grog’s prank war, knowing it would effectively and amusingly drive Liam crazy.

Still, Travis is perhaps the best at saying no to you. If and when you break the rules, he doesn't bend against you, losing the ability to play that week.

By Arc 4, you are a regular member of the crew and were treated as such. Still, there were more restrictions for you; set by your parents and the other cast members.

Naps/ settle time were required on recording day; You couldn't repeat the fowl language off set without permission; There was a code word for when you became too stressed; Your socials were private; And you weren't to do individual and greets without a trusted adult present.

Laura, you knew through both Liam and her work with one of your parents. In fact, you yourself had shared some voice acting projects with her. A bit of a mother hen, but still, she's basically your aunt.

By the critters, you're dubbed Bailey-B or "B-B" because you're essentially Laura's mini. Mid campaign 2, it somehow became a running gag to say, "Hello B!" when you made an appearance or arrived on stage.

Treat fields. When you're packed sweets as a recording snack, you most always share with Laura. Funnily you don't save any for Liam, much to the amusement of others.

Initially, Vex was trusting of your character. Deciding to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, after your first kill, her opinion changed. You'd played the encounter mercilessly, following the instructions of your patron. Now Vex was weary of you and suspicious of the voice in your head.

You don't help Laura's dice habit. You'll see pretty dice and often treat yourself to them. You're not a hoarder like her, though. If she shows interest in the dice, you'll let her borrow them with the understanding there's a slim chance you'll see them again. What's yours is hers when it comes to dice and food and vice versa.

Marisha sits on your left during the recording. She’s the only one directly next to you for campaign 1. Hence, you two are whisper buddies. Furthermore, she usually takes notes for you, considering your penmanship is obviously that of someone still learning to write.

It becomes somewhat traditional for you to whisper something to Marisha in an attempt to get her to laugh. Drives the critters and others crazy; they don’t know what you’re whispering about. Eventually, Marisha begins posting your childish comments after the stream, so everyone gets in on the joke.

Marisha, much like Travis, is fairly good at wrangling you. Generally, very chill if she switches to a sterner tone you know to listen up. She has a talent for getting you to focus and calm yourself before each game.

She does cast off those cool older sibling vibes. Marisha will bail you out, but knows where to draw the line. Just don't do something too shitty.

Keyleth dotes on your PC. She remembers the wonderment of the world when she was first out on her own. Her time with Vox has somewhat hardened her. The world isn't as gentle as she thought it to be. Your PC is so young she doesn't want your innocence taken from you.

Mama Kiki. She's always making sure your PC is hydrated, has enough to eat, and doesn't get to beat up in battle.

After much pleading, Marisha and Travis green-light a series allowing you to co-host called "Camp Critter." It stars you and Laura teaching the workings of DnD; its target demographic, children.

Talisin is your teddy bear. They’ve become used to you running up to them, with very little warning, to give them a tight hug whenever you see them. You’re such a cuddle bug when it comes to them. It’s not uncommon to see Taliesen holding you as you talk their ear off about your day.

It happened once Marisha accidentally elbowed you in the forehead. You’d think in your pain you’d run to Liam, yet you went pouting over to Talisin. The critter community exploded over the cuteness, even drawing art of the moment with you and Talisin as your respective pcs.

You call them Tally. Initially it was difficult for you to pronounce their name so they allowed you and you alone to call them ‘Tally’. It’s sort of just stuck around. Talisin affectionately calls you ‘Gremlin’.

Percy was distrustful from the start. Most of your interactions are kept at arm's length. You were too naïve, too bubbly for him to place faith in. There is the saying “you catch more flies with honey.” How could he trust someone, even a child, so sickeningly sweet?

However, after your PC came to murder their parents, he saw his mirror looking at you. You were in a dark, vengeful place. Too easily could fall down the path he’d trodden. So he was understanding and present. Ever the watchful eye, he kept you from losing yourself. He’d engage all manner of childish activities to prevent you from turning down a dark path.

During quarantine, it becomes a highlight of their zoom calls to see what you’ve been up to. You excitedly show them your first handstand; lost tooth; learning to ride a bike with no training wheels; and more.

While you’d gotten your start as a recurring character in the campaign, the cast couldn’t imagine the next seven years without their kind B-B. It’s an honor to watch you grow and develop not only as a player but as a person.

Humor me for a second. Imagine if there was one more regular Critical Role player to make Laura and Marisha's starting dou a trio.

Hear me out... now make their pc a centaur. You have Laundna the creepy warlock, Imogen cowgirl sorcerer, and their cluess cinnamon role centaur third.

I need there to be a oneshot with Beth May, Emily Axford, and Laura Bailey. The pure chaos! Bonus points if there pcs are Ron Stampler, Fig Faeth, and Jester Lavorre respectively. I dunno maybe their trapped in a middle plane and trying to get home to their respective planes. I really don't care what the adventure is. I just need them to play a session together.

Kids Are a Handful of Love

Summary | Post Campaign, Fjord and Jester are pseudo parents to a little girl that's been traveling with Nein since the start of the campaign when they picked her up on the side of the Amber Rd. Though she doesn't refer to them as her parents and the two aren't married they're doting parents. Both are eager to finally give her a somewhat normal upbringing and provide the childhood they never had.

Author | Full writing credit to, @angelltheninth

Notes | This story was commissioned

Warnings | Fluff

———

When they decided to take an impromptu vacation off the coast of Nicodranas to spend some time with their kid, neither Jester nor Ford could have predicted how much fun it would truly be, or how much such a simple gesture would mean to their child.

She was still so small and new to many things, so of course when the opportunity to experience something for the first time presented itself she was eager to take it. Even if it sometimes ended with a fire or two. Oh well, nothing was permanently damaged. Except for Marius and his clothes. And he may have a few bite scars for life. But other than that Anwen was not a menace, no more than Jester at least.

“Where are we going today?” Anwen looked excitedly between Fjord and Jester as Fjord steered the ship toward the port.

“Nicodranas. We’re visiting Marion today. So make sure to bring her lots of shinies.” Fjord was of course referring to the treasure jewels they found recently, not to the big stash of coin and trinkets that Anwen ehm... borrowed along the way.

Anwen’s smile only widened, which showed off her sharpening dragon teeth, “Okay! I’ll go see and find something really sparkly and pretty!” She put a few jumps in her run as she took off towards the lower deck.

“And you tell me I’m the bad influence.” Jester smirks up at Fjord who only shakes his head, “Not very fatherly of you, blaming me for it.”

“Very funny. I know she’s just exploring, that’s fine, we were both like that when we were kids, I just wanna make sure she’s safe while doing it. You know?”

“For her to know she has us there with her.” Jester finished for him. They shared a knowing look. Fjord nodded, his head turning towards the little girl running up to them, “Exactly.”

“I found it!” Anwen held a big red jewel in hands, almost the size of her head, “It’s red like her.”

Jester knelt down to the little girl and patted her light brown hair, “I’m sure she’ll love it. But how about we put it in the Bag of Holding for now, really make it a surprise?” Anwen seemed a little reluctant, she really liked all things shiny and sometimes found it hard to part with them if it wasn’t on her own terms. But she relented and gave Jester the jewel, which the cleric then put away.

A few minutes later, they were docked in the Port, which was brimming with life. Fishermen offering new goods, posters and people offering and looking for helping hands for future voyages, all kinds of animals hoping to get a few pieces of fresh fish.

Jester and Fjord flanked Anwen and gently took her smaller hands on their bigger ones, “Come on little Bee Up!” They both lifted her up a few inches off the ground, at which Anwen giggled with excitement and kicked her feet before they touched the ground again. They did this a few times more as they walked around the market.

“I thought we were going to see Grandma?”

“We are, we’re just taking a little detour, maybe we can find a few more things for her.” Fjord scanned the market with expert eyes for anything tasty. His smile widened when he found the perfect thing, “Hey Anwen, look over there. See what I see?” Anwen tilted her head in confusion. Jester snickered as she watched her daughter’s eyes light up.

“Ice cream! Can we get some?! Please?” She looked excitedly between the two of them. Fjord and Jester merely smiled down at her and nodded, their smiles widening even more when Anwen’s eyes sparkled in excitement.

It brought them even more joy when the ice cream vendor gave them extra big scoops for being such an adorable family.

“Don’t eat too fast, it will freeze that smart brain of yours.” Jester patted Anwen’s smeared cheeks with a napkin, only for the little girl to go right back to devouring her ice cream. It was gone in a span of minutes, while Fjord and Jester were still halfway through theirs.

Next stop was a small store close to the center of the marketplace. There they bought various scented candles and a big basket, which Jester then arranged and wrapped in a big blue bow.

“What do you think? Will she like it?” The basket was almost comically big, shielding Jester’s head and part of her torso from view.

“I think we went a little hard on the candles there, but other than that yeah.” Fjord gave a thumbs up and immediately regretted his choice of words when he saw the mischievous look on Jester’s face, “There’s a kid here Jester.”

“I wasn’t gonna say it!”

“Say what?” Anwen looked confused but before she could ask again Fjord scooped the little girl up and put her on his shoulders, her hands tangling and fisting into his hair. It didn’t hurt him however, Anwen knew to be careful.

He tilted his head to the side and slightly upwards, “Ready to go see Grandma Marion?”

“Yes! Let’s go!” The little dragon girl pointed excitedly in the direction of the Lavish Chateau.

It wasn’t long before the three found themselves traveling through the currently empty halls and stairways, knocking on Marion’s door and being met with the brightest smile in Nicodranas.

Imogen’s reaction to Laudna’s “cold” comment has me intrigued. Especially since Laudna hasn’t brought it up yet. Obviously there’s still time for her to bring it up, but I do think it’s interesting she didn’t mention it before they went to bed when she could catch Imogen alone or something.

With all of Laudna’s talk about utilizing Delilah to help them, it’d be so interesting to see if she stays more quite about Delilah’s messages from now on

And if I say Imogen wanted to dance with Laudna…

Like sure she said “I want to see them [the people] dancing,” but she could have definitely used that as a cover to get to dance with Laudna

And just imagine a Tangled Kingdom Dance esque type scene with Imogen and Laudna dancing with the people of Zephrah

When I tell you I have wanted Laura and Aimee in a campaign/one-shot together for months, I mean it. And the Queen by Midnight stream only turns that want into a need

They are just both so chaotic and funny, and this back and forth is enough to tell me their energy in rp would be incredible

And I know Aimee has already been a guest on C3 as Deni$e, but I desperately want Imogen and Opal interactions. Like two young adults plagued by a plethora of voices and unwanted responsibilities.

Revisited the cooldown episode for c3e93 and for my own personal wellbeing I am choosing to believe that Laura also sees the Opal-Imogen connection.

Like just look at this reaction to confirmation that Opal is also gonna be fighting Predathos:

Revisited The Cooldown Episode For C3e93 And For My Own Personal Wellbeing I Am Choosing To Believe That

Like you cannot tell me this news hasn’t opened something up to her. She is totally planning. She sees the story enhancing potential I just know it.

CR give me either:

1. Laura talking about/acknowledging the similarities between Opal and Imogen (stuff I’ve discussed in my last post) and/or talking about their potential dynamic on like a 4-sided dive or at a panel/convention

OR

2. Opal and Imogen meeting in campaign 3 and having a discussion/moment(s) with just the two of them. Where they can actually connect/bond over these similarities and maybe even help each other.

Actually I lied I want both. And I would do anything to get even just a single mention from ANY of the cast on this.

Signed,

The most passionate Imogen-Opal friendship truther

Be warned, this is long, Really Long... i have been think about this for WEEKS

I can agree with the general standpoint. From a 4 Sided Dive episode that included both Matt and Laura, they were talking about characters and their development before the campaign. This is where Matt inferred to us that Imogen wasn’t originally gonna be a Ruidusborn. Fearne was originally the sole Ruidusborn, and was gonna be a standpoint for the lore, but when Laura said that Imogen was having nightmares about storms, that’s where Matt created Imogen as an Ruidousborn. I don’t think this was explicitly said and confirmed but Laura didn’t really know that Imogen was Ruidusborn, thus not knowing that she would be intertwined more into the lore. I say that she was more connected to the campaign 3 lore more because we didn’t know about Fearne being Ruidusborn until much later in the game. I think Matt realised that the cast wouldn’t get that information unless they went to the FeyWild so he directed the attention to Imogen as the “main character”. It was referred a lot by everyone, including the cast and Matt as a DM and that Imogen was kind of the main drive along with Orym because of the death of those he cared for because of Otohan for Bells Hells to continue on and would later open more opportunities for character development for the rest of the characters. I think it Laura and maybe Matt wanted to backstep because it was already such a forefront so early and had so much attention towards it. Yes, I do want Imogen to be more of a stand out point because how close she is with the whole situation (which I really want) but I do get why. She isn’t as involved with conversation like this because of her character growth of trying to disconnect to her mother’s past actions

It was kind of shown in Episode 104 & 105 (Spoilers)

When they were presented in front of the leaders and everyone. Everyone didn't know that Imogen and even Fearne were Ruidusborn, Matt just acted it like people like the Bright Queen seemed to already known about their connections with the Ruidus which they shouldn't because this was their first time meeting her. This can be debunked with Keyleth or Allura telling them about the both Ruidusborne but nothing was mentioned about this. Episode 105 showed that when no one asked her questions even thought she was a giant part of this, no one reacted when Imogen her title of 'Exaltant Hope of the Red Storm' which summarizes her part in this. Showing that they already knew she was Exaltant Ruidusborn.

(End Spoilers)

But also because of how more important she would be in the future episodes, especially with featuring Liliana, Predathos, Ludinus, and the casts thoughts/predictions about her being a potential vessel.

I hope Imogen plays a bigger part but I do get it. See you all next Thursday!

Still wondering why Imogen wasn't questioned when, at face value, she is the most likely to betray and turn to Predathos. Even last episode, at the splinter meeting, she wasn't asked. The only reason I can think of is maybe Laura's trying not to take up too much airtime, and asked Matt not too? Imogen's balked at the idea of being a 'chosen one' (and so has Laura) so it's understandable, I just wish we could've seen it- she undoubtedly is the most tied to the overarching narrative.

My Opinion on Episode 107, Conversation between the Arc Heart & Bells Hells

So basically, the Arc Heart is leaning towards team Ludinous. The Arc heart is one of the two divine gods who want to move on, we don’t know the other god. They are basically saying that they want to run, but they know that the others would only run if they had something to fear. The only thing that they will fear would be Predathos. He is practically telling them a plan that he wants to happen. Imogen and/or Fearne since they are the only Ruidousborn who know this plan would take Predathos, take that sacrifice, not know what would happen to them. They don’t know anything about a vessel, they think that Imogen and Fearne could take control, using Laudna as an example. They would become one with Predathos, take control, and make the gods fear them so that gods would want to fear.

I think this is a little selfish, in the perspective of someone who is just hearing this conversation. But for someone who watched the faults and hardships of the god in Downall, this is selfish, but I kind of get it. The Arc Heart had feelings like his children, like mortals, he cares for his family and thinks that need to move on. They think that mortals could evolve, if they didn’t rely on the gods. They don’t know what would happen to the vessels that would take Predathos, but he is still asking for them to make that sacrifice, he is asking for help, he realises that the gods need help. I think this makes the cast as players and as Bells Hells, especially Imogen/Laura and Ferne/Ashley. I think Matt wants them to think how to approach Predathos and their decision of being Ruidusborn. I think that Laura and/or Ashley would need to make complicated saves and decisions when it comes to Predathos, and Matt wants to expose these different perspectives to build up the complex decisions they would need to make in the end.

I’m writing this as the conversation goes on, the Arc Heart is sounding more selfish. He said that Predathos wouldn’t care about the mortals because they are like ants to us, small and worthless but there would be mass destruction and cataclysms. He is basically saying that the gods are all he wants, he wants the Ruidusborn to possess him so they would have a head start.

This is the build up and I think this comes back to the opinion about Imogen’s current position in the narrative in a reblog. Matt is basically building up the narrative and we have known that Laura/Imogen will greatly impact the narrative, that’s why she is currently taking a backspot when the topic could refer to Bells Hells as a whole or individuals. Ashley is becoming more of a central character because her father and they are currently in the Feywild and might need to do the same as Laura and take a backspot before that arc where Predathos and their decisions would be very important, especially with the current arc where Bells Hells would be in direct contact with the gods. Fearne as a Ruidusborn wasn’t really built up as much as Imogen, partly because we didn’t know that she was Ruidusborn until later and again with her position as a Ruidusborn until everything was revealed with her backstory and it is still being built up.

With all of this, especially with this plan, Bells Hells would most likely be presented with a few perspectives of the gods. We know 2, to fight Predathos or to use Predathos as a subject of fear so the gods would run. With their already split opinions, these perspectives would change on how they think and their decisions in these final arcs

I just want to voice my opinion about this and I do want to be a little more social on this account so voice your opinion on this if you agree or not! See you all next Thursday!
