What is your opinion on cutting a castle?

I would cut a castle in half diagonally. And let me tell you why.

So picture a cube-ish shaped castle with one guard tower on each corner

If you cut this castle in half horizontally you're going to have one half of a castle that is fully defended with four guard towers and another half of a castle that is has zero defense what so ever because it has no guard towers.

Similar for cutting a castle in half vertically except each half of a castle would have only two guard towers and two undefended sides.

BUT

If you cut the castle in half horizontally (from top right to bottom left and top left to bottom right) each half of the castle would have four guard towers and would remain fully defended on all four sides.

This option would leave you with two very unique castles, one shaped like an hour glass and one shaped like and x which I like to call a xastle

Also guys the person who asked this is my best friend and I brought this up to her forever ago and she hates my diagonal idea
