Mario Party AU
I did one for Kirby, so here's one for Mario. Honestly, this one started because people kept calling Bubble a Chain Chomp. Then I thought, "If Bubble's a Chain Chomp, does that make Gangle a Shy Guy." And a couple drawings later, and now we've got this.

My sense of time is so screwed up lately it's not even funny. It'll be Friday or something, and the next time I check it'll suddenly be Tuesday; but then the next two times I check it'll still be Tuesday, and then I check again and it's Tuesday of next week. I can recognize that time passed in between, and on average it passes at normal speed, but everything else could be either twenty times faster or twenty times slower than normal. It's very difficult for me to keep track of things to do like this, especially when one Monday I get an assignment due on Wednesday and the next time I think of it is Thursday.
So how the heck am I supposed to do my assignments like this, much less keep up a blog or a Youtube channel? I've already had to set a reminder on my phone every day telling me that another day has passed. That's not helping either, so now I have to find another alternative...
It's like my life is a game of Mario Party now. Roll the die, go that many days forward all at once, realize I accidentally gave half my coins to Luigi on the way.
Some days I sure wish I could roll a 0. I think that feature is in Mario Party 9 Life Simulator 9? But I also hear in that universe you have four people in your body?? I think I'll stick with this universe for now, thanks.

today I learned shy guy is a California girl
I was playing Mario party with 2 friends, one picked shy guy, the other Rosalina, I picked boo. The one who picked Rosalina didn’t play it before so we had to gang up on our bestie :)
anyway he had to leave early, I was stuck playing 2 characters and we started listening to California gurls. And my friend plying shy guy got a huge boost in luck, managing to narrowly snag a star last turn after the computer managed to roll a zero right before the star. And then proceeded to get both of the bonus stars.
point is
shy guy is a California girl, play the song on loop while singing it and playing shy guy probably a guaranteed win

Normally, whenever a board game finishes in a Mario Party game, there are clear rankings among the contestants as they are first ranked by stars, and for equal star values, ranked within those by coins. However, rarely, two players may have both matching star and coin totals, necessitating a tiebreaker which takes the form of a die roll.
Normally, if such a die roll is performed to determine the winner of a game, the winner of the die roll becomes 1st and the loser becomes 2nd. However, a code oversight in the 8-player mode of Mario Party 7 results in the losing team of the die roll being made 4th instead.
Note how the Toad/Daisy team and the Yoshi/Boo team have the same numbers of stars and coins, but due to losing the tiebreaker, Yoshi and Boo were placed lower than the other two teams, which had fewer stars.
