Sometimes I wonder if y'all (my mutuals & followers) ever get "special" notifs like these when I post after a long break.... 🙁
We all know that Tumblr notifs usually follow this format: "(blog name) just posted/reblogged a (type of media)", but there's something so heartwarming about this "special" type of notifs. I've always been on the receiving end of these, obviously; but I'd love to know if any of y'all have received these from my blog? If y'all ever do, could you DM me a screenshot of it? Or maybe send it as an ask? 🥺👉👈

Speaking of notifications, did y'all know that the latest Tumblr update includes post notifications in the permanent activity notifications now? This morning, I got an activity notification from a mutual, but it wasn't because they interacted with my posts. It was because they were active and posting again, after a long hiatus.
Which is great! I'll admit I was a bit disappointed initially, when I realized it wasn't really an activity notification, but then I thought of the benefits. This is very helpful especially for unpopular af blogs like mine, whose posts don't really get much attention. If my mutuals are notified when I post, especially if it's a permanent activity notification, my blog will gain more recognition! As we all know, temporary floating notifications are usually cleared by users, but you can't clear permanent activity notifications.
Also, could y'all (my mutuals/followers) send me a screenshot of these notifications, if y'all receive them for my blog? I'd love to see them! 👀 You can DM me or send it as an ask!
