#Jackrabbit
Definitely Jackrabbits are way earlier than birds. But the question is, how many of them?

Everybody's leaving their suites from the Resort today. It will be closed for a period of 14 days due to the Coronavirus. No case of infection has been found; it's only preventive measure.
And now these empty halls reminds me of a scene from 'The Shining' movie. Don't you think so?

#RedFox
Another visit from a Red Fox who's probably looking for a little Red Squirrel to chase. We've seen three of these Squirrels around the house, eating sunflower seeds for birds the entire morning.

April’s Twilight Scenery

Chicken Egg eaten by Raven at Dawn.
Have you ever wondered how Ravens eat chicken eggs during Winter?
Well they dig a small hole in the snow, put the egg in it, crack it, then pull off some of the eggshell wide enough so their beaks can go in.
Unfortunately this one has been disturbed by a small Red Fox and didn't have time to finish his egg.

#NorthernBarredOwl
The hoot of a Northern Barred Owl (Canadian Chouette rayée aka la Chouette Folle) has been heard last night. My girlfriend caught the sound with her mobile. Of course no picture or video has been made; It is always pitch dark around here at night. But the sound is great. It was around 2am.

#LifeAlwaysFindsAWay

#RufousGrasshopper
These kind of species can be encountered around here until mid-December; and this one didn't mind me getting some close up pictures. Here's one.
