Omega Bad Batch - Tumblr Posts
Cuteness overload!

dad and daughter day at disney
I love this take on it.
The Ventress vs the Bad Batch fight was so good because it really gave a sense of just how powerful all of them are. I feel like up until that point, the batch had suffered a lot of losses, understandably so because they are going from soldiers to fugitives but they were still supposedly super-powered soldiers who were constantly losing fights.
However, seeing them fight Ventress reinforced that they were incredibly powerful because they were able to (mostly) hold their own against Ventress who, routinely dueled both Anakin and Obi-Wan, meaning that the Bad Batch was more powerful than most of the Jedi in the Order. And the choreography did a great job of not only showing Ventress struggling, but also in the differences between assassin and elite soldier fighting styles. Ventress was dodging and being more tactical about her offense whereas the batch were taking hits and overwhelming her with blows. And they fought for a while too, and Ventress has to resort to using the Force to end the fight before Omega returned.
Goodbye

Summary: Hunter has recently learned that he can sense Tech’s ghost and has shared that information with his family. Omega comes to terms with Tech’s death with the help of her brother.

Omega sat on her bed, holding her fallen brother’s goggles. She hadn’t done this in a while. She had been content to let them sit on her nightstand, silently watching over her. A thick layer of dust had collected on the edges of the broken glass. The light, formally glowing red, was now dark.
If she squinted, they would sometimes look whole, and she should imagine the chocolate-colored eyes behind them looking back at her. But not today.
Hunter had told them about his mission with Rex and newest encounter with Ventress. And that he had sensed Tech or Tech’s ghost or whatever it was.
Initially she had been thrilled. It was like getting him back again. Hunter had even pointed out that he was at the table, sitting with them, laughing with them. But in the dark, in the quiet, Omega realized that he wasn’t back. He wasn’t here. Not in the way she wanted.
There had always been a small part of her that had hoped. Hoped that he had found something to catch himself on, fallen into water, been saved by some miracle and now the reality of it crashed over her. He was gone. He had fallen to his death for them, and he would never show up on an idle afternoon, scratched, maimed, but alive.
A tear fell onto the goggles as this realization hit her like a fresh wave of grief.
She heard a creak outside her door and didn’t need to look up to know who it was.
“Are you okay,” Hunter asked softly, crossing to the bed and sitting next to her. His palms were in his lap, not wanting to intrude too directly onto her grief, but still close enough if she needed him.
Omega had always found Hunter’s lack of touch frustrating. She knew he loved her, knew he wanted to hug her, comfort her, but he wasn’t capable in the way that Wrecker was.
She sniffed in reply and dissolved, sobbing over her most prized possession, the last remnant of her long-lost brother.
“I’m sorry, kid,” Hunter whispered, putting his arm around her. He squeezed her close to him, resting his chin on the top of her head and holding her. She sank into his arm, drinking in the safety and warmth. She would have been surprised by his sudden affection was she not wholly consumed with sorrow.
They stayed like that for a while in silence, except for Omega’s shuddered breaths. She felt where the tears had fallen on her cheeks, as though they were permanently etched in her skin like her brother’s tattoo. The sun was streaming into her golden room. When she finally sat up, she wiped her eyes and exhaled deeply. She looked down at the goggles, ran her finger over the shattered lens, and gently placed them on the nightstand once more.
“I thought he might come back. Hoped,” she mumbled.
Hunter nodded but didn’t say anything.
“Where are Wrecker and Crosshair?” she asked, suddenly realizing how quiet the house was.
Hunter sighed, “Wrecker went fishing to clear his head. Crosshair is painting at the crest. Said he’d be back later. It’s difficult information to…”
Hunter paused and chuckled “of course,” he said to no one. He stood up from the bed and sat on the floor facing her.
“He’s here, if you want to talk,” he said with a smile at the space he had vacated next to Omega.
“I can’t sense him the way…”
“I’ll translate,” Hunter leaned forward, took her hand and placed it on the spot next to her on the bed. “he’s here,” he said gently, sitting back down.
“I don’t feel him,” she said, staring at the nothingness next to her.
“I know,” Hunter said sadly. “He asked how you are… oh sorry. Yeah, okay Tech.” Hunter looked at her, amused. “He said I need to translate verbatim,”
Omega giggled and sat up straighter. She noticed Hunter close his eyes and lowered his head as though not to intrude into a private conversation.
“How are you, Omega,” Hunter said, his voice punctuated in Tech’s familiar rhythm.
“I’m okay…Tech,” she said, feeling silly but also lighter than she had in a while.
“I’m very…proud of how you have grown up. You are an excellent pilot,”
Omega’s eyes swam with tears, “thank you.” she looked down at her hands and across to Tech’s goggles, “I’m sorry we couldn’t save you, Tech,” she said, feeling a weight dop into her chest. She looked at Hunter whose face had crumpled.
Omega had never seen Hunter cry, although Wrecker had assured her that he did, had, many times after she was taken; When he thought no one else was around. She was aware in that moment how young her brothers were and how much they had endured in their short lives.
“I would make the same decision again and again if it meant you were safe,” Hunter as Tech said.
“Did it…hurt?” she asked, finally voicing her greatest fear.
“I didn’t feel anything, Omega. I was not and am not in pain. I am lucky that I am somehow able to watch you live your lives in peace,”
Hunter looked up at the space next to Omega and smiled.
“Are you always here?” Omega asked hopefully.
“Not always. I seem to pop in every now and then. It’s not something I control. It would be fascinating to do further research. However, in my current state that doesn’t seem possible,”
Omega giggled; Tech was always trying to discover more. “Where are you when you’re not with us?” she asked and Hunter looked at her, surprised, as though it had never occurred to him to ask that question before.
“I seem to go to a strange, void space. It is black with white, glowing arches like some kind of ancient star map. I’m always alone but can hear other voices. It is quite an odd but not unpleasant sensation. Regardless, I much prefer to be on Pabu with you and…”
“Phee?” Omega supplied.
“Why…ah…yes…I do pop in on her from time to time,”
“Does she know?” Omega asked, directing the question at Hunter. He shook his head but kept his eyes closed and head down.
“Perhaps you can help Hunter with that particular conversation,” Hunter as Tech said.
“I’d be happy to,” Omega said.
The light was streaming through her window now, a beam of sparkling dust illuminated the space next to her and for a second, she could imagine Tech in his armor, looking down at her with a smile on his lips.
“I love you, Tech,” she said to the nothingness.
“And I you,” Hunter responded in Tech’s familiar tone.
There was a pause before Hunter raised his head and blinked open his eyes, focusing on the spot. Omega knew Tech was gone. She could see it on his face.
“Did that help?” he asked, concern in his voice.
She smiled and launched herself at him, hugging him around the neck. “Yes. Thank you.” She said, tears dripping onto his shoulder.
“I was just the translator,” he said softly. He picked himself up and wiped his hands over his face and through his hair absentmindedly.
“Should we go and see Phee?” Omega asked excitedly. She felt so light, happier than she had since she heard the news, she wanted to spread it as far as possible.
“I dunno, Kid,” Hunter said solemnly. “I’m not sure I can break anyone else’s heart right now. Maybe we wait until Crosshair and Wrecker get used to the idea.”
Omega nodded in understanding and took his hand. “you’re not breaking hearts, Hunter. You’re giving hope.” She said with a smile.
“It doesn’t feel like that,” he said quietly. He squeezed her hand twice and let go, crossing the common room to the kitchen beyond.
Omega looked back at the spot where Tech had been. At least, where she thought he had been. His goggles sat in a pool on sunlight, the broken glass which looked grey and devoid of life before glowed yellow and she gasped.
She knew she would carry the loss of him with her forever. It was burnt into her skin like a brand. But knowing he was watching, that he was proud, and that he loved her as much as she loved him, she realized that it was enough. The grief would never fully leave her, but it took up less space, knowing she could speak to him again.
“Goodbye, Tech,” she whispered into the room as she followed Hunter to the kitchen beyond.

I know this silly little goofy jokes has probably been done a thousand times over, but I am slow and I do not care (?) lol

Cool big brother, sweet sister and funny stepbrother.

"When you're lost in the darkness, look for the light."
I officially introduce my TBB x TLoU AU: Hope for the Hopeless.
I'm so excited for this and can't wait to work on it more. I hope to continue work on my fic, which will be under the same title on AO3, soon! Life's started to get a little hectic in my neck of the woods and has really slowed me down.
I'll keep y'all updated on the fic's progress as I share artwork for this AU!
Enjoy!

reunion
Someone may have already posted about this, but the amazing @uzuriart on Instagram posted these based on the face of Temuera Morrison and I just can’t with how beautiful they all are👀

Lord please take away all her pain and give it to royce hemlock

@badbatchsmolbean as you didn’t get any picture from prequel app, here my little contribution for you 👉👈

“You’re our kid, Omega”
Adult Omega cosplay 💕 I miss this girl and the Batch so much 🥺😭❤️.
Ok, but that conversation with Omega and Tech... that specific little piece of dialogue that Tech said, that’s me?!
I always feel out of place because i don’t react to things the same way my family does and, hey, I get that every person has a different reaction to a situation but mine’s are waaayyy different, so i did felt called out when he said that, so my question is... im I autistic?
I really don’t know how i would know this but, if anyone can help me see somethings that are connected to it, that would be great
Because i would know that im not alone in being that way that i am, and i think i would cry because that would mean im just built differently
Thoughts and predictions of “The Bad Batch”!
This are just a few things that have been on my mind since the last three episodes, so it’s a long post.
If you haven’t seen them, keep scrolling!
This will go in no particular order:
Dr. Emerie Karr
This one was not so much of a shock to me, there was something about her and the way she spoke that inmediatly had my attention. The way she was introduced was a bit creepy but seeing it from Cross’ pov, she seemed to look like Tech, not to mention all the foreshadowing of all of them in the episode “The Outpost”.
In the episode “Tipping point”, she’s always calling Cross by his name rather than his number which, from my pov, is a way to get closer to him, make him feel more at ease giving the circumstances but, why would an imperial scientist do this? The answer is, she feels related to him somehow, then she stops the torture, gives him some sort of shot to bring him back and she unbuckles the wrist restrain, only for Cross to wake up short after and, this is where it gets interesting because, she warns him that there is no way out and it sounds to me like she has tried to do that before.
This for me means that she doesn’t want to be with the empire, because she knows what Hemlock is doing with the clones and feels uncomfortable seeing it and doing it herself, which brings me to me next point...
Echo’s contact
That’s right, i do believe that the one that keeps feeding them the info is Dr, Emerie Karr, as I mentioned before, i think she has tried to escape herself to no avail, so, to alleviate her guilt from torturing her “brothers” she’s giving the necessary intel to the people who has being helping the clones without being to obvious about it to avoid getting caught and keep helping.
I do admit this is a bit far fetch, but i think ✨it’s obvious✨
Tech’s “death”
Now here comes the heartbreaking part of this post. Though I’m in the grieving and the denial wagon, I want to see this from both sides, so bare with me on this.
Tech being alive: There are a few things that says that this might be true; one of those things being that the rest of the batch fell from a little lower than he did and they survived, they were injured as hell but alive. Another thing is, of course, no body = not dead. And the last thing is, you got it right, Tech’s googles; this is a classic move for the villian to make and it usually always works.
I feel like Hemlock knew that that attack was made by Clone Force 99 so i think he gave the order to search for clues and they found Tech’s body, at that exact moment, Cid commed the empire and tell them that the batch was at Ord Mantell, the person that answer the “call” told to Hemlock, so he grabbed his googles and made his way to Ord Mantell to poke at the wound of their fallen brother in hopes to make them turn Omega in.
Tech being dead: I hate this possibility but, I do believe this might actually be real. Things in a war don’t always end up in a happy ending.
Tech made a choice and a sacrifice. Giving him development, a love interest, making him bond more with Omega, etc, feels incomplete because that’s life. We don’t always get to say a proper goodbye to the people we care about nor do we have a lot of time to make this decision, it’s a now kindda thing. And this might even be the final straw to make them fight the empire for good this time, besides from getting Omega back that is.
Omega
I think I know were this one is going. I saw the signs but never really paid attention to them before because ✨denial✨ but I can’t ignore them anymore.
I now believe that Omega is actually Force-sensitive. If Emerie is already a female clone, why would the empire need Omega? Yes, I know that they need Nala Se to help them and that’s why they wanted Omega but, what if there’s something else going on?
We know Palpatine is into his cloning phase, if we add to this that Omega has heightened awareness, knows how to meditate and the importance she has for the empire, then the only thing i can make of this is: Omega is force-sensitive.
The next steps
This is were the fun begins!
So, obviously they are not going back to Ord Mantell because they have nothing left there, they got AZI back and Cid finally betray them, so that’s not longer an option.
The most logical place where they should go is to Coruscant, back to Rafa’s and Trace’s garage. This because they need a place to investigate and get more fuel, not to mention that they could use all the help they can get, so i want to belive that Rex, Gregor and Howzer will help them at getting Omega and Crosshair back.
Not to mention that i hope to see a very feral Hunter and Wrecker, i do expect to see an aggressive Hunter due to the pain of loosing Omega and Tech and the same thing goes with Wrecker.
The reunion
Now, i’m not saying that I don’t want a reunion because I obviously want that, BUT, i feel like Filoni won’t give us this unless it’s the actual final of the show OR they give us 2 more seasons; s3 will be them getting all 6 of them back together (with Tech being alive because i said so) and a final s4 with Cross trying to win their trust back.

“He’s my brother. They all are.”
“You’re lucky.”

Erm, what the flip Dave?
It's so funny to me that a literal former Sith acolyte was ride or die for Omega after 5 minutes
But like, at the same time, you CAN NOT convince me that Ventress, seeing this young, bright-eyed child with no master no training and was not reminded of herself when she was young
advanced aging WHO???? not on my watch. omega is literally a scientist she figured out how to reverse it with emerie as a byproduct of unbrainwashing tech.
I've been seeing a lot of people up set that Disney didn't make Omega trans (which I'm assuming that they mean MTF) BUT there is still the option of her being FTM!
Either way, I fucking love this child and only want for her to be happy ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
