Wesper really has it all now. The books gave us that amazing slowburn and the build up and the pining and now the series is giving us all the fluff and being together and being mushy as fuck.

I am kinda offendend by the lack of interest the people behind Shadow and bone put in me personally and my response to seeing the "stay in ketterdam" scene on screen. I mean , you'd think they'd at least come ask for permission before turning my entire existence upside down.

So I just started reading Siege and Storm and it was revealed that the Darkling found Alina and Mal in Novyi Zem because they had traded her golden hair pins instead of using money. He said they left “a very expensive trail.”

In Shadow and Bone 1x08, the Crows agreed to not try to kidnap Alina again but Kaz was bitter about it and said “You are quite valuable, you know” and Alina gave him her hair piece and said “So is this.”

Alina said that the hair piece wasn’t a gift, but a payment so the Crows would keep quiet about where she went from that point on (which implies that they know where she intended to hide). Kaz intended to use the hair piece to pay off Inej’s indenture and get the Crow Club back from Heleen, so he is probably going to pawn it or lead a trail back to himself.

I’m wondering if this will foreshadow the events of Siege and Storm in SAB season 2…

Can we talk about how perfect this tiny bit was from the teaser because

First of all, almost all 6 ahhhh

But also regardless of what that flash of light is, their character reactions are so spot on

Kaz is looking directly at it and doesn’t flinch, impassive

Of the others, Inej notices first, turns her head faster and doesn’t flinch, maybe slight concern

Nina and Jesper notice next and redirect their attention, also no flinch but a slight eyebrow raise from Jesper

Wylan notices last and distinctly flinches away

It’s mostly that I noticed Wylan’s reaction and how distinctly different it is than the other crows, which makes so much SENSE

Anyway the point is both that I’m obsessed and that this cast is so GOOD

Okay, I get it, we’re all terrified Shadow and Bone is gonna get cancelled, but remember, this is Netflix, if it gets crap fucking tons of views in its first month, it gets more seasons. So, when I say our safest bet is to rewatch constantly, even if you’re just playing it on your tv while muted or a separate tab on your laptop while you work, I mean it.

We need to fucking watch and rewatch that show like there is no tomorrow, that’s how we get a third season (and if we’re lucky, in Netflix’s tendency with Bridgerton and Witcher, a fourth)

i've just seen the new cast of shadow and bone and all i can say is aaaaaaaaaaaaa, they are perfect! nikolai is few details different from how i imagined him, but he is per-fect for playing both versions of nikolai. wylan hit the target perfectly. just give him red hair and boom! done! taken straight out of book pages! tamar and tolya are a perfect example of why i am bisexual. summing up, i can't wait for season 2

so they basically remixed all grishaverse books and put them on shuffle, but i can't even get mad properly, because i just love seeing all my favourites on screen too much
