Ninjago Magazine Comics Translated Issue 85 - The Sea Monster

Hey everyone! If you didn't know, Blue Ocean has a variety of non-canon Ninjago comics (minus one canon comic ft. the story of Lilly) in magazines. They're fun extra stories that happen between scenes or episodes of the show; but some of my favourites, like the one below, are between seasons. This one is Post Seabound. You can sometimes find these magazines in English, but they tend to be pretty rare depending on the area. They are, however, very popular in Europe, especially Germany, which is where I got my collection. As I'm bilingual in German, I've translated the comic below, trying to keep it as direct as possible while still making sense in English. Let me know if y'all enjoy it and if there's any issues in particular you want to see translated (I don't have every issue, but I have a fair bit from newer seasons and a few of older seasons).

Issue 98 (Post-Crystalized) -- The Kidnapping

Here they are! Big iron on thier hip! (Metamorphicly, it's obviously in their arms)

This was so much gadam fun to do I loved every second of it and designing pix in cowboy fix had no right being this amusing.

I did go hard on the purple for this design because, although thier main color is cyan and lime green now I still love the purple on them. The earrings are so neat I love them. I was going to go with more of a robin Miss all Sunday vibre originally but I decided to do more of a denim style, the influence is still thier in spirit. I don't know if it shows well but pix's hair is in low pigtails mushed together to look like a star.

I don't know what I'll do next but yeah that was fun I should do more post where I let y'all decide.

SO UH ABOUT S3....

I mentioned before that I am working on a personal project, and said project requires me to go by the seasons so one then two etc. I have just finished rewatching/taking notes on s3 and man I don't remember it being this bad

But like it is bad, weak plot weak motivations terribly writen relationships i could go on but I'll savour that to my seasons reviews

I took a few days to think about how I felt and what I wanted to do moving forward since this effects the personal project and most importantly for this blog at this time my metal nya au

And I have decided that I will rewrite s3, it would be just a normal rewrite (as in no metal nya in it yet) all 8 episodes

This is sort of an anouncment post but it's also a discussion post, I want to know how other people feel about s3 to help guide my writing choices. You don't have to tell in detail, you can gush about your favourite character or moments

This is a discussion/circle sharing after all and I love seeing people's points of views

But if you don't want to don't feel pressured, just enjoy the silly art of 2 pixels

ALL PIXEL ENJOYERS I NEED YOUR HELP!

Hi everyone bun here,

So if you missed my last Post, I anounced I'm rewriting S3 [Here] and a part of that is me going back to review my pix design . I came up with three designs plus my original design of pics or technically my OG re-design [OG design post here]

So here are the options

Pixel A, this design is definitely more business casual, it radiats more professional office worker

Pixel B, their outfit is more fun designed, it's more comfortable it's definitely radiates a sporty comfy feel and that's kind of the point and I gave them a warm coloured pallet to compliment the green

Pixel C, this design was mostly to play around with the hair texture and to see what a more futuristic outfit would be like

Pixel D, I diched all my design rules and I wanted them to be unique so it's not as a would normally design them hence the name wildcard, I gave them the blue of thier samurai Y outfit [curious? Here (same as the one on top) ]

Sorry I just watched the fnaf trailer and I'm obsessed omg if ya'll want to hear my thoughts about it lmk

Design D was the most popular but after reading comments and consulting my friends I decided to mesh the elements of designs A and D that people liked. It took some attempts to find a nice middle ground also time to actually draw it (see my last post why)

I feel happy with design but if you have any criticism or suggestions I'm all bunny ears
