Draenei (Uprightstanding Cows are good too but I'm a simp)
Goblins (MONEY)
Dwarves (MEMES)
Undead (I just like their story, ok?)
Ysera (I just don't like how Alex is put on a throne of gems, and yes, I'm just as much of a simp as the next person.)
MALYGOS (He deserves better and I'm prepared to fight for that.
Death Knight (Plot is my favorite part of the game and I think that's pretty obvious.)

Mage (I main mage and I love my main to bits)
Grand Magister Rommath (Tall dark and mysterious feminine voice of reason? Count me in! Grand Magister? Sorry. Grand Magister? Sorry. Grand Magister? Sorry.)
Matthias Shaw or Magister Umbric (I like my men suspicious and morally grey or not at all. Mostly not at all, I prefer women.)
Silvermoon (That beautiful, amazing place has my entire heart and soul) or maybe the new place coming with Dragonflight (From what I've seen it's pretty and lore relevant and that's all I want.)

Rommath and Khadgar Headcanon
From around a little before Kael'thas took the Fel up until the Suramar plotline, Rommath had no strong opinion on Khadgar. Sure, he'd poke fun at the Archmage a bit, there was no Kirin Tor member he WOULDN'T poke fun at (Actually he avoided bullying Jaina from the destruction of Theramore until the Purge of Dalaran, then she was his primary target) but there was no real malice there.
Then, during the Suramar plot, Khadgar walked into the Horde camp and just.. didn't leave. Somehow, him and Rommath started talking sh!t about the Alliance and how confrontational they were being that expansion and Rommath stopped poking fun at Khadgar. Very few people noticed, and those who did just assumed Rommath felt bad or ran out of jokes to make about him. In reality, they were friends!
Also after Lor'themar just left Rommath behind while Aethas went to Argus despite having not done sh!t to rectify his past actions, Rommath was mad at the other Blood Elf leaders so after that he also talked sh!t about them.
Khadgar and Rommath don't even get LAST names. Medivh's last name is harder to find than Waldo in a where's Waldo book in which some asshole edited out all the Waldos.
Isn’t it strange that Anduin is the only character with a middle name? Yeah his full name is Anduin Llane Wrynn. Name another character that has a middle name I’ll wait.
Warcraft Men and How Much I'd Trust Them With My Drink
Khadgar: 10/10. He would put a ward on it. He would be so good with holding people's drinks. He has a lot of experience from holding Medivh's drinks.
Anduin Lothar: 6/10. He won't p0ison me, but he might drink it, or if he's already drunk he'll drop it.
Llane Wrynn: 9/10. He's a very nice man and he won't p0ison me, but he's not very good at seeing when people aren't actually good people (Looking at you, Sargeras in Medivh)
Medivh: 7.5/10. I trust MEDIVH with my drink. I do not trust Sargeras with my drink. Also I feel the need to mention that Medivh is amazing and I love him.
Belo'vir Salonar: 8/10. He's a very nice man but he has a small tendency to a$$a$$inate people.
Rommath: 8/10. Same reasons as Belo'vir.
Gul'dan: -10/10. I will hand him a glass of champaign. I will get the bl00d of Mannoroth.
Illidan: 5/10. I leave for two minutes and he's drunk flirting with a completely uninterested Khadgar.
Anduin Wrynn: 3/10. He'll get k1dnapp3d while I'm gone.
Mathias Shaw: 0/10. He's gonna see the chance to 0ff me and take it. I love him tho.
Flynn Fairwind: 2/10. He'll drop it because he's wast3d.
Genn Greymane: 0/10. I get a bad vibe from him. I don't know why.
Wrathion: 7/10. I love the boy, but he's an idiot who makes terrible decisions. Still better than Sabellian for Aspect, though.
Nielas Aran: 10/10. One of the few people who actually cared about Medivh, and that's all I need to say.
Moroes: 10/10. See Nielas' answer.
Edwin Vancleef: 8/10. I don't work for the Kingdom of Stormwind so we're all good.
Durotan: 9/10. I just get chill vibes from him.
Thrall: 5.5/10. He's probably h1gh as ba||s.
Halduron Brightwing: 5/10. Manwh0r3.
Lor'themar Theron: 3/10. I don't like him. He should listen to Rommath more.
Baine Bl00dhoof: 7/10. He seems nice but is not particularly effective.
Orgrim Doomhammer: 1/10. No.
Velen: 10/10. Will see if someone is going to p0ison me and stop them.
Turalyon: 0/10. I get suuuuper sketchy vibes from him. I think he's in a cu|t.
Malygos: 7/10 pre-insanity, 4/10 mid-insanity, 0/10 post-insanity. I play a mage. He seems sweet before he goes crazy, and when he's crazy he's a giant spider.
Kalecgos: 9/10. Will find a powerful mage and sleep with them immediately, somehow managing to keep my drink in his hand the entire time. I like him.
Nozdormu: Yes/10. He will put it in a pocket dimension.
Murozond: See Nozdormu.
Magni Bronzebeard: 10/10. I f*cking love this guy.
Brann Bronzebeard: 8/10. Easily distracted by shiny objects.
This got way too long, so I'm gonna have to stop here.
I'm divided between Kael'thas kinda just using Rommath because Kael knows Rom will play along, and Kael being a complete simp. Like:
Illidan: Make tea or I'll kill you.
Kael'thas: No.
Rommath: Hey Kael-
Kael'thas: I MADE TEA! *Pulls tea out of thin air*
Spymaster Matthias Shaw and Grand Magister Rommath can be summarized in the phrase "Pure unadulterated rage"
Shaw's like, the one human who isn't racist and it's because he loathes everything equally (Excluding Flynn Fairwind, Edwin Vancleef, and Khadgar. He's slept with 2/3.)
Rommath also hates everyone and everything. He hopes you all rot. He is valid. Poor little meow meow (Make the elf purr you fckin' weeb, MAKE THEM PURR!)
Rommath is so fucking done with everyone's shit.
He's done with Kael'thas's weird magic shit.
He's done with Lor'themar's avoidance shit.
He's done with Liadrin's noble shit.
He's done with Jaina's "I'm not racist but..." shit.
He's done with Anduin's pretending everything can be solved with peace shit.
He's done with Khadgar's done with everything shit.
He's done with Halduron's drunk shit.
He's done with Thalyssra's "IS THIS MAN SECRETLY ELISANDE?" shit
He's done with Valtrois' "IS THIS MAN SECRETLY GAY?" shit because it's not a secret at all he's very blatantly gay
He's done with Belo'vir's horse girl shit (Should out to Salonar the Horseman for being some red haired elven horse girl lmao)
This man
is just
so
fucking
done.
You know what? Same.
Showing the Good of/Redeeming the Horde, Several Pieces at a time
Lady Liadrin: After the Fall of Quel'thalas, Liadrin was forced to kill her now Scourge adoptive father, Vandellor (seen in Bastion). This, combined with the already present stress of the Fall itself, causes her to fall into survivors guilt and bloodlust. If you had watched your friends die painfully and then been forced to murder the man who you would have died alone without, wouldn't you do the same? She is abandoned by the Light in her moment of need and, because of this, lashes out at M'uru, draining the Naaru of it's power and taking Astalor's offer. She does this in anger, and regrets it immensely. She has since rejoined the real Light, being forgiven by the main thing she has wronged. If it can forgive her, so can you.
Grand Magister Rommath: I could go on for days about Rommath, and I probably will. If you've ever been in an abusive relationship, be it romantic, platonic, queerplatonic, familial or any other kind, you know how incredibly difficult it is to get out. You think what you're doing is right. I mean, they can't be that bad, they're your partner in crime! The one you rely on! They're your friend! But they aren't your friend. You're being lied to. For you, it could have been them making you drink more alcohol until you depended on it and they were your best supplier. For me, he (my online best friend) cut me off from most real life socialization, isolating me and making me dependent on him for any social stimulation. For Rommath, it was the Fel. We know that Fel magic is highly addictive. We know that most Sin'dorei are getting a highly filtered version of it that is considerably safer to consume than raw Fel magic. We know that Rommath and Kael'thas are two of the only exceptions. We know that it quite literally drove Kael'thas to going insane and harming his friends.
Imagine being in Rommath's situation. Completely dependent on the now somewhat insane Kael for Fel magic, which you would die without, seeing Kael fall apart. You've been friends (maybe more) for more than most mortals are even alive. You stick around because you can help him. In this action, you throw yourself right into Sargeras' line of fire. You're no longer just dependent on magic, no no no. You're dependent on Fel magic. The edges of your razor sharp psyche begin to break apart, remaining sharp enough to cut diamond, but no longer in the way that a knife is. It's more like the violently shattered glass of the mirror you punched when you realized that your once blue eyes were blazing lime green and brighter than fire. You can see that you're not ok. You can see that it's slowly starting to change you. It changes your mind, bringing the rage further up. It changes your body. You look pale and tired in those shards of mirror on the floor.
But you can't leave. If you leave, he'll die. It'll be all your fault. You keep going. Further away from the light. Further away from the Arcane magic you held so dear. All you have is Kael. All you have is Kael and pure, unadulterated fury.
Can they really blame you for using that fury to try and save your people?
I mean, it's not exactly like Lor'themar gets much of a choice...
This is for you Romkael shippers out there btw, if you are not one of those Romkael shippers out there, this isn't for you.
So let's flashback to Anasterian's reign real quick. Near the end of his life, Anasterian is getting weaker. Fearing that he may falter, he places Belo'vir Salonar as his second in command. Sylvanas, while a good military leader, is just that. A military leader. Belo'vir is:
Well versed in the magic that this kingdom was built on
Incredibly intelligent
Quick witted
Married to Vandellor, the main religious leader of Quel'thalas, cementing his power (Semi-canon)
And last but not least, set up with an heir. Rommath.
These are all qualities that Rommath shares.
He's well versed in both Arcane magic, the power that Quel'thalas was built on, and Fel magic, the power it was saved (and doomed) by.
He's remarkably intelligent, as well as having a death glare that could probably actually kill (it's how Kael'thas died lmao)
He's the adoptive sibling of Liadrin, the current religious leader
He's set up with Astalor in line to take over his position, and if Astalor can't, he has Esara, and if Esara can't, he has a whole host of other people (HC: Including Cindrethresh, one of the most talented assassins and warriors in recorded and probably unrecorded history. Ya can't tell me Mx. Bloodthirsty "Please sit down Cindre you're scaring Viridia" won't join the group known for being merciless demon massacrists with minimal moral restraints.)
And most importantly (ROMKAEL TIME BITCHES) he was engaged to Kael'thas. We don't know how Thalassian succession works, but that sets him as a prime candidate for the throne.
So. Rommath is:
The heir of Belo'vir, who was in the position that a queen would have held
The person who would have been monarch-consort if Kael hadn't died
The only member of Silvermoon's triumvirate who has an heir
A man who has ties in the church
Patriotic (Not metaphorical government dick sucker)
Smart enough to maneuver himself into this position
Smart enough to get out of this position if he needs to
Basically the savior of the elven race after he made the conversion spell that makes Fel magic safe to consume
It's not looking good for Halduron, or hell, Lor'themar if Rommath wants the throne. Hal is a good military leader, but he doesn't have the political standing to get very far. Lia is too tied to the Church for separation of Church and State to let her rule. Thalyssra doesn't even have a claim to the throne, and even if she did, doesn't have enough backing by the military for her to rule.
Pretty much we get a council or we get Rommath. I honestly don't care. I really like Rommath.
the wiki: With the fall of the Sunstrider dynasty, Quel'Thalas no longer has a clear line of succession. If Lor'themar were to fall, it is possible that in the absence of a designated successor, Grand Magister Rommath would come into power; his current station is arguably the highest in the kingdom below Lor'themar’s. Alternatively, power might pass to Halduron Brightwing as Quel'Thalas’ military leader.
lor’themar: neither of them it would be liadrin thanks
I love terrible men.
