just had a thought about Harrow and her 200 souls. if, somehow, in atn these souls are removed from her - what would happen to her necromancy?

there could be motivation for these souls to be removed, which is why I bring it up - whether this is something that harrow would want because they are haunting her, or if it is something that is done to her to perhaps hurt her, is another question. but since those 200 deaths gave her her necromancy, what would happen if someone were to "exorcise" them from her? would she then lose her necromancy?

now THIS is intriguing i don’t think she would lose her necromancy given that the 200 were both to give her necromantic powers and to ensure her birth so we have to assume she has some genetic affinity beyond the two hundred she also does have a bit of gideon in there and like maybe the body? but i do think that even if it meant losing her powers she would voluntarily give the two hundred up it would be the only way to absolve herself from her (guiltless but nevertheless perceived and haunting) crime of existence and to free the souls that never consented to being her battery harrow’s thing is very much that she doesn’t want anyone to be in her service especially at a cost to them so if she could end the literal plague of her existence and the perpetual warcrime that is being powered by 200 dead children she would i think it would hammer home that she is a good person and let her grow beyond a creepy little bone witch even further
