summary: peter listens to the voicemails you left him during the blip.

peter was scrolling through his phone when he saw the amount of voicemail notifications he had, he opened them and noticed every single one was from you.
he opened one and listened to it,
“peter come home, please come back, i don’t know what’s going on but everyone’s gone please come back to me please”
he feels his heart break as you plead for him to come back to you.
he opens the next one and listens again
“hey peter, steve came over today and told me what happened. it may sound stupid that i’m calling you right now becuase you obviously aren’t going to answer but this makes me feel like you’re still here, i miss you and i love you”
he opens the one from his birthday
“happy birthday peter!” you yell happily and he chuckles as the tears fall down his face “today you would have been 17. i have a birthday cake here with spider man on it, it may be a little silly but i don’t care because the cake is absolutely adorable. i just wanted to wish you a happy birthday i love you”
he listens to every single voice mail over the span of three days, he opens that last one left and listens.
“hey peter we’re hopefully going to get you back today, i’m so excited to see you. i think tony may be more excited to see you than i am but don’t tell him i told you that. i cant wait to see you and i love you so much”
peter puts his phone down and smiles knowing that over five years you never forgot him.

i walked into school completely lost on how they expected some of us to move on like we didn’t miss five years of our lives.
i walked down the hallways and watched as friends reunited and found each other., it made me sad and happy that’s these people got to see people they missed.
the more i walked through the schools the more i realized that maybe all of my friends did move on. “y/n!” i heard from behind me, i looked over my shoulder and saw mj looking at me with tears in her eyes.
i ran over to her and hugged her tight as if she would turn to dust again, surprisingly she hugged me back. we stood there and cried for a minutes before pulling away “shit i thought you were dead” she says through her tears and i giggle “i could say the same for you”.
“have you seen peter or ned” i ask and she shakes her head “no i was looking for them too” we walk down the hallway and catch up on everything we missed since the last time we saw each other.
as we walk down the hallway i see ned and peter hugging and relief floods through my body, the tears i didn’t even know i was holding in fell down my face. “go get em” mj says with a smile on her face and i run down the hallway.
“peter” i yell trying to get his attention but the hallway is too loud “peter” i yell again and he looks over at me and smiles.
i run up to him and jump on him clinging onto him as tight as i possibly could, he wraps his arm around my waist pulling me impossibly closer. i raise my head from his shoulder and grab his hands with both of my hand before i kiss him, it takes him a minute but he kisses me back gently.
when we pull away he puts me down and i smile at him “god i missed you so much” he whispers and i laugh through my tears “i missed you too pete” the use of his nickname makes him smile.
“you guys are disgustingly adorable” mj comments making us laugh “it’s good to see you parker” peter smiles and hugs her.
i walk over to ned and hug him “thank god you guys finally admitted your love for each other” i laugh as he pulls away from the hug.
“it only took them two years but yay” mj deadpans and we all laugh. “it’s nice to be together again” peter says and we all smile at each other.
