i had been scrolling through tiktok when the song castaways by the backyardigans came up on my for you page.

ever since then i had been going around the tower singing the song and doing a little dance. every little thing i did i was singing the song, i just couldn’t help it.

i was walking into the kitchen for breakfast humming it, as i walked into kitchen i saw everyone looking at me.

“i have been singing that damn song all week” tony admits and i giggle.

“it’s so catchy for no reason” sam yells

“right” steve yells in hold his hand out to sam

“i swear i haven’t been able to get it out of my head” bucky groans and i giggle

“i heard my brother humming it while he was reading the other day” thor says as loki’s eyes widen.

“like sam said it’s catchy, it actually one of the only midgardian songs i like” loki admits bluntly.

“it’s so cute” wanda says and we all agree.

“i find it rather enjoyable myself” vision says and i smile

“it’s the fact that we are grown ass adults singing a children’s song” sam says and we all bust out laughing.

summary: after a mission gone wrong, vision accidentally hurts someone. tony is furious with him and berates him for his mistake, but fails to realize that he has feelings.

a/n: seeing vision cry makes me cry.

“how did you manage to hurt someone” tony yells obviously furious.

“i didn’t mean to sir-“ vision tries but is cut off

“you didn’t mean to” tony yells making me flinch “you aren’t supposed to make mistakes, you are a robot they don’t make mistakes” tony yells hitting the table.

i look at vision and see the hurt look on his face. i feel my heart break as he quickly changes his hurt expression to a neutral one.

“i’m sorry sir it won’t happen again” he says lowly, looking down at the table

“you’re damn right it won’t happen again” tony yells.

vision gets up and walks out, i look at a furious tony and steve and give him a look. i look around and notice the avengers just sitting there like vision hasn’t saved their asses in multiple occasions but won’t defend him.

“wow” i say catching everyone attention

“what y/n” tony asks bitterly

“for a genius you are really fucking dumb at times. why do you fail to realize that vision has emotions, he’s more than a creation tony. you don’t think he feels guilty about what he did. he’s saved humanity from ultron when we couldn’t, that should say a hell of a lot” i stop to take a deep breath “he’s hurt by what you said but you couldn’t take a moment to realize it” i say and tony just stares at me.

i walk out of the room and go after vision. i see visions door is closed so i knock lightly, i wait for a minute but he doesn’t answer.

“vis its me” i softly say as i open his door and walk into his room.

i shut the door behind me before turning around, i see vision sitting on his bed staring at the wall.

“you okay” i ask snd he shrugs.

“i didn’t mean to hurt her” he says softly “i would never do that” he says and i walk over to him and stand in front of him.

“i know vision and i know you feel terrible but what tony said isn’t true” i say softly as i lift his chin so he can look at me “you are allowed to make mistakes because it’s normal” i assure but he looks away from me.

“how do you even love me” he asks barely above a whisper

“i love you because you’re wise, strong, kind, loving, you’re the love of my life vision and i would not trade it for anything” i admit.

he looks back at me and his eyes search mine before a tear falls from his eye (gif).

i frown at the sight of the tear and quickly wipe it away. it was visions first time crying but i wasn’t going to make a big deal about it because he’s experiencing new emotions.

“thank you darling” he thanks and i look at him confused .

“for what” i ask and he stands up and caresses my cheek.

“everything” he says and i smile before kissing his cheek lightly.

today was my first mission.

to say i was absolutely terrified would be an understatement, yes i was trained by the best assassins know to man but still things could go wrong.

i was in the quinjet with my mom and dad in the way to the hydra base that had a flash drive we needed.

the flash drive has everything we need to know about hydras plan to created new facilities and create more super soldiers, like my dad.

“what’s wrong doll” my dad asks brings me out of my thoughts.

“i’m just a little nervous that’s all” i assure and he nods.

“there no need to be nervous, we’ll be right here waiting for you and if you need us we’ll be there” my mom says patting my knee and i smile at her.

“we’re here” clint yells and i sigh before making sure every weapon is in its proper spot and that my ear piece is secure.

“you got this” dad cheers and i smile before walking out of the quinjet and towards the big building.

i quietly walk towards the front door and choke out the two guards in the front, i grab one of their cards and swipe it before going into the building.

“the drive we need is on the far end of the building it should be in room 197” dad says into my earpiece.

i run down the hallway just to be met my three guys, they all come charging at me, i grab my gun and shoot one of them in the leg and he falls.

one guy comes up to my side and cuts my arm and i hiss before grabbing his head and smashing it into the wall. the last guy comes up to me and throws a punch but misses and i right hook him and he’s out.

i heard a lot of footsteps coming from down the hall, i look over my shoulder and see five hydra soldiers coming for me. i sprint down the hallway and go into the room with the flash drive, i see a guard and shoot him before i walk over to the computer and take the drive out.

as i start the encryption for the security breach i hear my dad voice in my ear piece “forget the encryption you gotta get out of there now”.

i do as he says until i feel a sharp pain pierce through my shoulder and i fall to the ground. i look at my shoulder and see blood pooling out if it at an alarming rate.

i grit my teeth to control the scream i want to let out as i get up from off of the floor. i grab my glock 17 and walk down the hallway, i shoot every hydra agent in my way until my amo runs out.

as soon as i get to the door a soldier pistol whips me and i groan, he’s a lot bigger than me and has the obvious advantage.

i do my best to fight him off with a gunshot wound, the man continuously makes blows at my ribs and stomach.

“dad, mom” i call out “i could use some help here” i say as the guys sends another blow to my stomach.

i heart two gunshots and the soldier falls in the ground in front of me, i looks up and see my mom and dad running up to me.

dad picks me up and i let out a painful cry as he does, he carefully walks out of the building and onto the jet. he puts me on the stretcher and my vision starts to get blurry before everything goes black.

i wake up and a harsh light is blinding my vision, when my vision adjusts i look around and see bruce and my parents sitting across from my bed.

“you’re up” dad yells and comes to kiss my forehead and i smile.

“did you guys get the drive” i ask and they both nod.

“we’re very proud of you” my mom says and i smile.

“how bad is it bruce” i ask and he sighs as he grabs his clipboard.

“you’re right collar bone is shattered, you have three broken ribs luckily none of them punctured a lung, and doctor cho was able to fix your stab wound while you were sleeping” he finished and i nod my head slowly taking it all in.

“how long will i be out for” i ask bruce and he puts his clipboard down.

“a couple months of healing and a lot of physical therapy” he says and i nod and slowly grin.

“what are you making that face” my dad asks and i giggle.

“you guys get to take care of me” i say and they all groan, i laugh until i feel a sharp pain in my ribs.

“you ok” they all ask at the same time and i smile

“i’m fine guys” i say and i watch relief flood all of their faces.

“this is going to be a long couple of months” mom says and i giggle.

today was christmas and i had decided to tell everyone that i was pregnant.

i had found out a month ago that i was pregnant after i was sick every morning for two weeks, one day i took a pregnancy test and it was positive. i was so excited to tell everyone but i wanted to surprise them.

after weeks of planning, shopping, and keeping the biggest secret ever, i would finally be able to tell everyone.

everyone was gathered around the christmas tree in the compound trying to figure out what to open first.

“let’s open the bags first” tony suggest and i immediately disagree and he looks at me confused.

“those are my gifts can i please save them for last” i plead and he nods before suggest another persons gifts to open.

after a what felt like a century it was finally time to open my gifts.

“ok everyone close your eyes” i say and they all hesitate but close their eyes.

i hand everyone their bags and give peters his last, i give everyone the ok to open their eyes and they do. they all look up at me and i nod letting them know it’s ok to open them.

i watch anxiously as everyone pulls out the ultrasound pictures. tony looks up at me and then the picture and then peter before putting two and two together.

“YOURE PREGNANT” he asks loudly and i nod.

peter immediately jumps off of the couch and tackles me in a hug, when he pulls away from the hug i notice tears in his eyes and he smiles.

“i’m gonna be a dad” he whispers and i nod feeling tears form in my eyes.

“yeah pete you’re gonna be a dad” i say and he laughs before hugging me again making everyone ‘aww’.

“I DIDNT EVEN KNOW YOU TWO WERE SEXUALLY ACTIVE” tony yells hysterically ruining the moment making all of us laugh.

“how did spider boy manage that” bucky asks and sam immediately cuts in.

“well buck theres this thing called sex and when two-“ sam starts but bucky grumbles before cutting him off.

“i know how babies are made sam” bucky says completely over it making me giggle.

“i cant wait to see a mini y/n and peter running around” nat comments and everyone collectively groan. peter and i giggle at everyone’s obvious excitement at the thought of a little us running around.

“i’m happy for you guys” tony says as he walks up to peter and i before pulling us into a hug, eventually everyone joins in making one big group hug.

i smile as i realize that this baby is going to have a lot of love coming from an amazing family.

it’s not everyday that you date a god but, it’s also not everyday that you find out that the god you are dating was technically is d.b. cooper.

“YOU’RE D.B. COOPER” i look at loki in complete disbelief and he nods. i get out of bed and start pacing around the room trying to wrap my head around the fact that i was dating d.b. cooper.

“darling you are in fact dating d.b. cooper” i stop pacing to look at him, he looks amused by all of this and it makes me want to punch him in his beautiful face. “i’m glad you find my face beautiful” he says and i huff in annoyance.

“stop reading my mind loki” i pout and he chuckles “you are one of the greatest unsolved mysteries, how did you escape with no trace” i ask and he smiles.

“the bifrost” he states and i nod, it makes since but why did he even do that, “i lost a bet with thor” he answers and i roll my eyes.

“loki” i whine as i get back into bed and he pulls me into him, i rest my head on his chest and listen to the beat of his heart.

“i’m sorry love but your thoughts are loud, it’s kind of hard to miss” i look up at him and playfully glare at him.

“does anyone else know about this?” i ask and he shakes his head.

“other than thor, heimdall, and now you i don’t think so” he rests his chin on the top of my head.

he opened one and listened to it,

he feels his heart break as you plead for him to come back to you.

he opens the next one and listens again

“hey peter, steve came over today and told me what happened. it may sound stupid that i’m calling you right now becuase you obviously aren’t going to answer but this makes me feel like you’re still here, i miss you and i love you”

he opens the one from his birthday

“happy birthday peter!” you yell happily and he chuckles as the tears fall down his face “today you would have been 17. i have a birthday cake here with spider man on it, it may be a little silly but i don’t care because the cake is absolutely adorable. i just wanted to wish you a happy birthday i love you”

he listens to every single voice mail over the span of three days, he opens that last one left and listens.

“hey peter we’re hopefully going to get you back today, i’m so excited to see you. i think tony may be more excited to see you than i am but don’t tell him i told you that. i cant wait to see you and i love you so much”

peter puts his phone down and smiles knowing that over five years you never forgot him.
