Stranger Things Questions I Have

Idk what else to make my first post so here's this:

My Questions for Stranger Things:

Why could Max enter Vecna's mind? Why did Vecna call her "the chosen one" (through Lucas in Vol 2)?

How did El know Will in s1? Did she see him in the void during her time with Brenner pre-escape?

People with psychic powers are automatically connected to the Upside Down-- but why, and how? Did Henry draw his dark power from the upside down somehow? Why did El defeating him (the first time, in Brenner's lab) end with him going to the upside down, why couldn't she just kill him? Was El's banishing of 001 the first time a connection between the Upside Down and the real world was made outside the void, or even at all?

Does this really all start with Vecna? We know the Upside Down existed long before... how can we be sure no one else ever had powers or established a connection with the upside down before his existence/being discovered by Brenner?

Does the 3-headed dragon in Will's painting somehow actually exist? What other monsters can be created from the dust that Vecna bent into the Mindflayer?

How did Will survive the upside down?

Does Will have powers? If so, will Will have any ability to control Vecna's mind or an UD monster in s5?

How much of Will's true feelings could Mike pick up on in season 4? Aka how oblivious can this guy get? lol

How much does Will realllly know?? Probably more than he's letting on....

Can El, or any other character, time travel? It seems like throughout the seasons, there are more and more discussions about time in relation to the upside down... I'll make another post about that lol.

But yeah we see her literally reverse a death in s4 vol 2, and she seems stronger than ever, so what does that mean for her future powers in s5? More revivals? Undoing of past actions? Will she have to sacrifice anything in order to keep people alive? because she didn't seem to sacrifice anything in order to revive Max.

Who is El's biological father?

Was it really just a demogorgon that got Will in s1? I know people have pointed out that during the scene where first he gets captured, there is a bunch of evidence that Vecna was involved, from the fact that Will wasn't bleeding, to the Vecna-like silhouette of the figure, to its slow movements, to its telekinetic manipulation of the door lock, to its selective target of Will (not even Will's dog that was in his house with him), to the fact that they never showed a demogorgon, to the fact that it didn't kill Will! EVERY other one of the demogorgon's victims died pretty much on the spot. Some say it's a demogorgon controlled by Vecna.

This leads to my next question, which is that if Vecna somehow did make Will the chosen one... why? Why was he kept in the Upside Down, just rotting away, on the verge of death by the time when he was saved? Was it so that he could be infected by the Mindflayer (through the vine in his mouth)? What was happening in that time other than him being scared, singing, and trying to find a way out through the walls in his house? And why was the Byers house the only house to have demogorgons literally living in its walls?! Idk... maybe Will was just a good target since he might have been the first person to pass by the Hawkins lab after the demogorgon escaped.

Does Mike really love El romantically? Or does he just really idolize her?

Is it possible for people who were killed by UD monsters to be brought back in some form? Are Billy, Eddie, and/or Vecna's 3 victims of s4 somehow stored in Vecna's mind, or the UD somehow?

I hate that they don’t really value his feelings as a friend. It really sucks but he’ll be the first to be called out if he does something wrong 😑

i feel so bad for lucas. he's made his intentions clear by joining the basketball team from the start. him, mike and dustin all said they wanted high school to be different and he's sticking by what they said. he just wants him and the gang to stop being bullied because they're outcasts... like he's not even doing it for himself; he's doing it for everyone.

then lucas said that mike and dustin coming to his big game was really important to him and yet they chose a campaign over him. he saw them exiting the hellfire club looking like they had an amazing time without him, like they didn't even care that he was there or not. he had no one - not a single person - come to support him. lucas' ambition and efforts to experience a better life is lowkey being punished by his friends.

he's also trying his best with max. he's being so concerned, gentle and understanding with her even though she's evidently been brushing him off for months. he won't give up on her. he offers her the ticket, sees her suffering and expresses his worries but doesn't get angry and push her. he's so patient and understanding.

lucas is trying his damn best. he's so underappreciated by his friends. he's trying to better himself whilst helping all of them and he deserves better.

How to Get Killed Off in Stranger Things:

1) Be queer-coded but not queer (Will and Robin survive via Gay Plot Armor).

2) Be shipped with Steve Harrington.

3) Have a mullet.

4) Be an adorable woman interesting enough for her own narrative arc (Lookin’ at you Barb, Chrissy, and Heather). 

The only thing I don’t like about st being set in the 80s is teenage Max not being able to listen to mitski, fiona apple, and Florence + the machine because she would’ve loved them
