Walking along that fading road with you
Would have been, to my past self,
Enough to make my heart race for days
Before and after. My older self wonders
When this path will be paved over
To smooth out the scrapes left behind
By years of drivers who don’t look back.

not always for the better
and we should do what we can to change them
but not dwell on what we cannot fix
and through it all remember
that we are not alone
and that hope remains

this photoset was really challenging
first time trying to tell a story in pictures
but I think it was worth it
despite the flower crown falling to pieces every other picture.
i know things are really horrible for a lot of people right now
and I wanted to express
that somehow we'll make it through
we must
