I think Garak has to believe that everything he's done and sacrificed and twisted himself into was worthwhile and necessary, so that he can go on living in his own skin. If he ever finds himself believing it was a waste or Tain just being cruel or didn't actually help Cardassia, the whole house of cards caves in, and genuinely I don't know how he could move forward from it without a complete mental break.
So you'd get people like Julian or Ezri who are very well intentioned and trying to be helpful and encouraging him to think about things differently and they don't understand his very fragile sanity rests on him believing shit like children deserve to be put in closets, and if he lets himself think otherwise he'll just fully implode.

I love Will and Mike’s dynamic but I kinda wish that they won’t be in the same storyline together again in s5 because (some) people in this fandom make literally every thing about them. Like…I just saw a tweet of El almost dying in vol2 and people were like “omg the light behind Mike and Will are yellow and blue that means they’re gonna end up together 🤩🤩 also the way they look at each other 🥰🥰”

US people with disabilities in the supplemental security income (SSI) program can't have a penny over $2K in their bank account at any time in order to keep their benefits.
You know this economy. That amount is completely unlivable & makes it hard for people with disability to save for the future or have a safety net for emergencies.
A new bill would raise the max to $10K (or $20K for married couples). It would make a world of difference.

how are y'all able to write wip intros in like a clear and concise manner. the only thing i can come up with for one of my wips is like either three sentences or fifty walls of text.
