What Are Your Unpopular Dis Opinions + Mine?

I’m curious to know what you guys are going to say. I don’t have any in mind tbh except for a few. Also wanted to say that my opinions are not meant to offend anyone. These are just harmless opinions, and you can like what you like as long as it’s not hurting you or others.

Here are some of mine:

1. I prefer An Extremely Goofy Movie.

I mostly prefer it because it focuses on Goofy and it’s set in college(I’m going there soon). I also relate to Max’s wish to have his own life. Though, I prefer the first movies soundtrack by a lot.

2. Moana is an okay movie.

It’s a fine movie. The plot was cool, the soundtrack was nice, and the twist was good. Moana is not as outstanding as other Disney movies like Tangled.

3. I prefer Frozen 2 over the first one.

I like the world building and the discovery of Elsa’s powers. It was more interesting than Frozen’s plot.

4. Toy Story 4 was not needed.

In my opinion, Toy Story 3 was a perfect ending to the series. It had heart and solidified the characters as a family. Toy Story 4 kind of ruins that for me.

5. I don’t like Naveen that much.

His character change was a bit too quick and was not as well done as I thought when watching the Princess & the Frog for the first time.

Thanks for reading!

A concept:

Toy Story 4 bloopers like the ones we got on earlier Pixar movies:

There’s background noise of someone BAWLING while Bo and Woody are saying goodbye and when the camera turns it’s EVERYONE IN THE CAST.

Buzz and Jessie being grossly in love and constantly missing cues for it.

Actual adult Andy talking to the new child Andy, just giving him tips and advice.

Someone yells ‘Cut!’ after Bonnie puts Woody in the closet and immediately she’s going back in there all teary-eyed like ‘I’M SORRYYYYYY’ just hugging him.

Woody blows to pop his head back into shape but it doesn’t work and Buzz is slowly but surely losing seriousness.

Gabby Gabby pulls her string and it falls out so she’s like ‘See?? This is garbage!” while everyone fucking loses it.

Lot’s of scenes where Forky is improvising it and the rest of the cast can’t keep a straight face.

Buzz presses his ‘Inner voice’ button and it starts saying ‘Dear Jessie, how I love thee, let me count the ways-’ as he frantically tries to turn it off, flustered.

During a scene, Bunny and Ducky are supposed to appear but they miss their cue and when the camera turns, they’re beating the shit out of Stinky Pete saying something like ‘YOU’RE EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THIS INDUSTRY!’.

Grandma does a wrestling hold on Bunny and Ducky when they jump at her.

Duke fucking dabs mid-jump at the climax scene and everyone goes OHHHHHH!!!!!.

Buzz says ‘We’ll always have Pizza Planet’ as Woody turns to Bo after ‘Bonnie will be OK’ and it’s like WHEEEZE.

Bo kisses Woody when she runs into his arms instead of just squeezing him.

“Uh, Bo, the script said-” “Sh-sh, let me have this.” *continue to smooch until they fall over and like ‘Sigh, take five’.

MISSING LINK (Dir: Chris Butler, 2019).

MISSING LINK (Dir: Chris Butler, 2019).

2019 is the year of the animated sequel, with follow-ups to How to Train Your Dragon and The Lego Movie recently leaving cinemas and further instalments of Toy Story, Secret Life of Pets, Shaun the Sheep, The Angry Birds Movie and the mighty Frozen to come. In a market oversaturated with sequels this, the fifth feature from Oregon based animation studio Laika, is a rare treat.

The second Laika production written and directed by Chris Butler, following 2012’s Paranorman, Missing Link is a departure from the dark fantasy of Paranorman and Coraline (Henry Selik, 2009) and finds the studio in decidedly lighthearted mode.

The adventure comedy concerns discredited explorer Sir Nigel Frost (Hugh Jackman) who teams up with a Sasquatch-like creature Mr Link (Zach Galifianakis) on a quest to the Himalayas to unite Link with his Yeti cousins.

As is to be expected from Laika, Missing Link is a beautiful realised stop-motion spectacle. It is easily the funniest Laika movie and the exquisitely detailed, hand-crafted animation is a joy. Galifianakis is a sweet natured, lovable Mr Link and is is supported by a first rate vocal cast which also includes Zoe Saldana, Emma Thompson and Stephen Fry.

Despite its disappointing box office Missing Link continues the run of excellent animations from Laika, proving them to be the most consistent of all animation studios. The movie is a sweet and humorous adventure, as entertaining for grownups as for children and is almost certainly the most original animation you will catch in cinemas this year.

TOY STORY 4 (Dir: Josh Cooley, 2019).

TOY STORY 4 (Dir: Josh Cooley, 2019).

Since the first movie was released in 1995, the Toy Story franchise has proven to be one of the most robust, not to mention most lucrative, Hollywood franchises of all time. The original film, a Pixar Animation Studios production released through Walt Disney Pictures, was a massive critical and commercial success, spawning a further two equally successful sequels. After the fairly definitive conclusion of Toy Story 3 (Lee Unkrich, 2010), the prospect of a fourth entry seemed to many unnecessary, albeit not entirely unwelcome.

Toy Story 4 reunites Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the gang and introduces new character Forky. Forky, made by the toys' new owner Bonnie from a plastic spork, pipe-cleaners and other discarded items, is determined to throw himself into the trash where he believes he belongs. Determined not to let this happen, Woody places himself in charge of the spork, a decision which results in the pair becoming separated from Bonnie and their pals. As lost toys they encounter the sinister doll Gabby Gabby and her ventriloquist dummy cohorts and Woody is reunited with old flame Bo Peep.

Happily Toy Story 4 is a sequel which lives up to its mighty predecessors. Director Josh Cooley and screenwriters Stephany Folsom and Andrew Stanton have created a movie that is by turns witty, exciting and ultimately moving. Its message is certainly as poignant as others in the franchise and comes with a climax that that seems pretty darn final.

It goes without saying that the computer generated animation in Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 4 is beautiful. Once again, the vocal performances, notably Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Annie Potts as Bo and Tony Hale as Forky, are exemplary.

This latest episode of the Toy Story saga thankfully does nothing to tarnish what is arguably the most consistent franchise of them all, while its finale suggests that this really will be the last we see of the gang. If this is the case then more's the pity, although Toy Story 4 definitely provides them with a high on which to go out on.

Can't believe people are literally hating on Missing Link, a stop motion movie by a small company, for beating THREE films by a billion dollar monopoly at the Golden Globes.

And that being said, literally none of Disney's animated movies from last year deserve any rewards because 2 of them are sequels to a cash cow franchise and one of them is literally an Animal Planet documentary.

People complain about lack of original content yet don't make any effort to support small companies that are providing you with such content. Y'all are just so amazing aren't ya.
