Thinkin about this au again I think it’d be funny if there was just ONE (1) dragon who suspected that MAYBE Moon did have powers but nobody believes them. That dragon would probably be either Winter or Qibli and I cannot decide which one. (I came up with this addition at 3 am and for some reason the first dragon that came to my half-asleep mind was PERIL probably because she’s my other favorite but as funny as it would be I don’t think she would suspect so now that I’m awake it’s gonna be one of the Qinter and I can’t decide which so

Winter: (glares)
Moon, panicking: What do you want from me I can’t read your mind???
Moon, who can in fact read his mind: (under her breath) nailed it.
A scenario I kinda wish would’ve happened in canon is that somehow or other the topic of Peril eating rocks for a majority of her life comes up and PYRITE IS HERE.
So Pyrite’s all “no wait don’t you see she’s had her mineral intake for a LIFETIME now!”
And Winter’s like, “I… don’t think that’s how it works…”
Cut to the Hailstorm reveal and I’m betting Peril either absolutely hates or finds it VERY funny
I feel like the problem with Qibli x Moon is that it Qibli won't really grow with her. Qibli's problem is that he's a people (dragon?) pleaser, he wants to be loved and he will do anything to make people love him. It's especially visible during their confrontation with Winter in Darkness of Dragons. Does Qibli really believe Winter is in the wrong? He must know he has a point, but he will side with Moon anyway.
On the other hand, Winter is not so easily pleased and he will stand for what he believes in. Qinter would allow both of them to overcome their issues and they would inspire each other to grow, while with Moon, he just follows the same harmful pattern.

If your ears are that big, you can easily turn them into a certain position to make them look like the cape of cobra when angry or with the intention to impress someone. For example, Burn would keep her ears like this almost constantly
