I haven't drawn any of my Wings of Fire OCs lately so I'm posting some messy doodles of them lol

When she`s startled - they go slightly up and back, surprised - straightly up, calm - just hanging down, angry/protecting herself - they get turned into a position that reminds about the way cobra`s cape looks like (probably trying to look bigger or more menacing). If your ears are that big, you can easily turn them into a certain position to make them look like the cape of cobra when angry or with the intention to impress someone. For example, Burn would keep her ears like this almost constantly

more of Sandstone and my Nightwing Legend. they exist in an AU where somehow Sandstone, a runaway Sandwing inventor, became head of the abandoned Jade Mountain Academy and rebuilt it from the ground up with the help of a few other dragons, including many of my and others' ocs.
sandstone is more idealistic than pragmatic and spends a lot of their time caving in the mountain, investigating new places for classes and occasionally falling through the ground of unstable tunnels - and through the roof of a classroom. they call this a "lesson drop-in" and is quite possibly the only legitimate security measure the school has. Lunundam, their partner, is sort of their only impulse control. [I do not own Lunundam]
Legend arrived during the second "arc" of events as a warning for the arrival of a villain named Soulscript, who possessed two of the students, and ended up sticking around after he was defeated after seeing the state of the school.

I might do more of these with some other ocs like Sycamore (one of the students who got possessed) or Northstar (separate lesbian ice/night love story) if u read this far which should I post next

couple of wof things I drew throughout the year.
Princess Manta ( Fathom's mom) concepts. I wanted to give her a spikey fin/sail because I wanted to reference Albatross's Icewing ancestry. Which I soon learned was debunked.
Fathom and one Indigo [mid bottom left]. I really like his design here but then I realized he's supposed to look similar to Turtle, and I didn't want to change Turtle's face so I went for a shorter one for Fathom. Still figuring it out.

Hyena my sandwing oc. He lives in the scorpion den and has a genetic condition that makes him unable to gain weight easily. This paired with sandwings small appetite makes him very skinny.
Finally got around to updating my main wof oc, Scorpion!! Not much has changed from the original(bottom) but I really like the new design.

My secret santa gift on one of my servers! This took me three hours and I also chose to draw each individual scale on the face so please pray for my hand lol
This was started like a year ago??? Maybe more??? I had done most of the lineart by the time it was abandoned but I now finally have the time to finish it. Patch notes: Seafoam patterns on the webbing and wings, slight color changes

WE’RE BACK, BABY- I took a weekend break because I’m sick BUT I am working out the plot for a story with these goobers.
As I do, I’m making references. Here’s another!! Outback is the town clayworker, and she’s known all over the Kingdom of Sand for her pottery. It’s truly beautiful, and very therapeutic to make.

She usually moves using her tail to prop herself up so she doesn't drag on the ground, propelling with her front legs or using her wing edges as extra stability (AKA, as backup back legs). She does the wing thing less, it’s a bit of a strain to support her entire body with her shoulders.
When she's on flat, stable paths, she uses the wheelchair specifically designed for her by Titanoboa.
Originally I conceptualized that she’d almost exclusively use her wheelchair without moving around otherwise. Then I realized that a, it’d be too heavy to fly with, and b, those wheels would not work well in sand. They’re designed with tiny grooves, but not made to withstand the sandy environment to its fullest. Those are for traction.
Titanoboa offered her a set of prosthetics. Outback refused. She wants to know how to mobilize without any help in case anything goes wrong. As it often did under Burn.
