In which Yoongi, a proud Tiger and former prince finds you, a simple stray cat roaming the streets, trying to survive somehow. His mate, as he realizes quickly.

He walks around the streets, head low as he greets some of the people he knows around town. It's busy, everyone walking around with their own work to get done. It's the that he spots a small person sitting close to a small store, hugging their knees. He doesn't know why, but he can't take his eyes off of her- something pulling him towards her as he walks closer.
He's seen you before as well- you're hardworking, taking on any task that would pay you at least a little. He's also seen you share food, and help elderly people carry heavy things without taking anything in return. You're an easy target for anyone who wants a little bit of food or money, and he's never been able to quite catch anyone in the act- always only seeing the aftermath of it, when you'd sit with your head held low, just like now.
He crouches down, waiting for a reaction that doesn't come. There's a small bowl of water next to you, but you don't touch it. He takes it for himself, smelling, but its just water- a sip he takes confirming it. You seem absolutely dehydrated, and yet you don't drink, simply raising your head a little to watch in longing. Your eyes seem heavy, ears hanging low.
The tiger in front of you will just take what little you have now, probably happy to get some more food and water for himself as easy as this. But he doesn't, holding it towards you. "Why aren't you drinking?" He asks, and you look up a little, before pointing to your throat.
There's some dark marks- you've clearly gotten into a dispute with someone recently, and its then that he understands. You probably have a hard time swallowing, making him furrow his brows as he thinks of something he could do to help. You're staring at him, unable to look away- has he noticed it too? Maybe your senses are growing delirious now, imagining something that's not there. "Wait here." He tells you, getting up to walk away.
Well, what else were you supposed to do than stay here? You don't really have a home, simply sleeping wherever you can find shelter. The town had been in this state ever since the new prince had taken over- well being of his people seemingly not interesting him at all as people steal and starve while trying to keep things running somehow.
When he returns, it's with something in a bag. "Come. I promise you I don't mean harm." He mumbles with a deep voice, helping you stand up as he leads you away from the bustling town, to a small home- its tiny, but its a home nonetheless. "I was told this should help. Let's hope they were right.." he murmurs more to himself than you, nodding towards a blanket he'd spread out on the floor next to what you assume is his nest- a mattress on the floor with several blankets and pillows. You sit down where he points while you watch him put down his hat, tiger ears revealed along with his black hair. There's a scar on his face, running over his eye; both of his eyes golden and full of pride, even during times like these.
"I'll let you help around here if you crave to feel useful, but I want you to know that I didn't take you in because of that." He says. You look at him. "You know why." He says, and you nod.
"Mate." You say quietly, voice raspy.
He nods.
