Got back into blogging again!!
Poppy Playtime is probably like… one of the most interesting games to drop this year (well, more like last year but since it’s updating chapter by chapter I think that technically… I’m not wrong!) I wrote a brief article about what it is and whatnot. I’m excited for the next chapter to come!!

First, there was the "internet horror" phase of indie games. Then, it quickly turned into "PS1 graphics" kinda thing. Then it turned into "ARG/Lost VHS horror", and as that trend seems to be simmering down, games like Amanda the Adventurer is probably one of the last remnants of this indie horror game trend as a new one will soon come to take the spot.

Y’know, game development is a lot harder to learn than I thought 🥲 or maybe it’s cuz I’m using Godot?
I wanted to make a visual novel with Godot, but it took me literal WEEKS before I even figured out how to change one set of dialog within a dialog box to another… so I decided to give Ren.py a go again 😅 hopefully it’ll be easier for me to use! 😁😁

The Backrooms have grown from a simple creepypasta to a popular trend for both indie games and film. There is so much to expand on, and I’m excited to write those posts when they come!
