That One AU Where Shinichi Is A Fanfiction Author

-         Shinichi starts to write Sherlock Holmes fanfiction from an early age (13/14 years old).

-         His user name on his fanfiction account and other sites for similar reasons is ‘onetruth4869’ wow you’re so creative I.W.P-chan.

-         One ‘magickaito’ (actually Kaito because you couldn’t guess I’m sure /slapped) is a faithful follower and reviewer who keeps Shinichi on his toes and is the main reason Shinichi ever writes Sherlock Holmes crossovers (mainly with Arsene Lupin).

-         One ‘shipalltheboys’ (actually Sonoko) is usually the third party in any discussion Shinichi and Kaito have. She always insists that Holmes and Lupin have a thing for each other and should get together. She also insists that ‘onetruth’ and 'magickaito’ should get together too.

-         Shinichi and Kaito typically team up to vehemently deny being a couple and argue against every point that 'shipalltheboys’ presents.

-         None of the three is aware of who the others in the discussion are in real life.

-         Sometimes, one 'whitehorse4869’ (actually Hakuba how surprising was THAT anyway?) shows up. He is a big fan of 'onetruth’.

-         Once, 'shipalltheboys’ challenged 'onetruth’ to write HolmesLupin. 'onetruth’ replied with a one-shot featuring T-rated HolmesLupin slash (also the first Lupin POV that he ever wrote) a week later. Hakuba reluctantly admitted that he could see how a thief and a detective could enter a romantic relationship despite them being, y'know, a thief and a detective. Kaito had to stop and take a breather half-way through the fic and admitted that it hit him in a place inside him that he didn’t know existed before. (Be patient with him, it’s his first time dealing with Feels). Sonoko grudgingly admitted that 'onetruth’ can write a good romance.

-         After KID makes his reappearance, Sonoko changes her user name from 'shipalltheboys’ to 'KID-samais#1’. Her constant ramblings about him are the real reason Hakuba came from England to Japan to catch KID in hopes it would shut her up. Shinichi is somehow never present for those ramblings. Kaito is usually fangirling over old heists from his father’s days rather than his own.

-         Shinichi remains ignorant until his Conan days and he meets KID face to face. Then he manages to never miss a rant from Sonoko.

-         Sonoko challenges 'onetruth’ to write a decent fanfiction about KID. Shinichi writes a long, multi-chaptered one that is built on Conan’s observations of KID accompanied by 'stop challenging me it’s starting to get ridiculous and no I won’t insert you as KID’s love interest’ aimed towards 'KID-samais#1’ either clearly stated or written in code inside the fic itself. Kaito is suspiciously silent save for 'stop writing thief POV YOU’RE KILLING ME INSIDE AND MAKING ME DRWON IN FEELINGS I NEVER KNEW I HAD BEFORE!! *cries*’. Hakuba would never admit that that fic is the main reason he called Kaito to tell him about Chat Noir and why he changed his attitude towards challenging KID. Sonoko is impressed.

-         'onetruth4869’ is very good at writing thieves and their POVs and Kaito thinks it’s unfair. As long as he doesn’t think about it too much and no one reads it out loud to him, he won’t spontaneously start crying.

Danny dies and gets reincarnated into the DC world, Lex Luther had made a second stable clone from half Superman and Batman, he used lazurus water as a stabilizer and Danny’s soul was perfect for it. He was going to keep him as a weapon against Batman but when he and Connor get freed everyone is alarmed. Danny wasn’t done growing and comes out as a 10 year old and is basically Connors little brother.

The Jokes of the Ghost:

While de-aged, Danny stumbles into the Joker's hideout. Nothing special; it's a Clown. Well, Danny can prank him! The spirits around him all told him what they wanted to do to this clown. But no death, they don't want his ghost near Gotham, but very far away.

So Danny was causing harm with playful ghostly antics that turned the Joker's plans into comedy. Danny played pranks on the poor Joker for already one month. The Joker can't even leave the room without getting a bowling ball in his balls or a stumple to fall on his face. The money he stole is gone, the food he eats is rotten, or worse, his car is frozen solid, or his weapons are fake guns.

Much to the amusement of Gotham.

Then, one day, an angry joker and the police see who gave him all the problems. It was a meta! Dressed in a Bat Onesie.

Danny is no stranger to curses, he’d been on the receiving end of many.

Being cursed into a doll and thrown through a natural portal was new though, and very much not enjoyable.

When he was thrown out of the portal and into a dark attic, he thought he’d finally be able to calm down from the initial shock and get home to fix this.

And he might have, if not for his powers not working.

And there were a lot of footsteps coming too close for comfort, so he decided to take a page from Toy Story, stay as still as possible and hope these people didn’t visit the attic regularly enough to notice a random porcelain doll the size of a toddler. Yep, totally an easy thing to miss.

The Wayne Manor’s attic was a disaster.

With as many kids that have lived there, it was filled to the brim with old keepsakes, toys, and weapons.

Every year or so, the family would all make a game of sorts out of it, cleaning the attic. They’d keep what they didn’t want to part with, restore weapons they had renewed interest in, and donate most of the old toys.

This just so happened to be Duke’s first time doing it, and Dick and Tim already warned him about some of the stuff in here, like Damian’s weapons and Jason’s book collection that didn’t fit in the library. No one told him about the glowing marionette puppet looking doll though.

Well, technically it wasn’t glowing, but it was glowing to him, and considering it was coming from some creepy doll?.

It only took his siblings to agree that they’ve never seen it before for him to decide that, no, he was not cleaning the attic today. He’d rather never see that doll again, thank you.

So why on earth is Damian carrying it with him to dinner like it’s an actual child.

Respawn had no idea who this guy was. He had woken up on the forest floor somewhere after a fight with Robin that had admittedly ended poorly for both of them.

All his wounds were bandaged and looked after. He wasn't even in pain! A rare luxury indeed. Looking over he saw a guy around his own age cooking some fish over an open flame. The other teen, as if feeling eyes on him, turned toward Respawn and smiled.

"I hope you like green onions." He said, motioning towards the plate stacked high with the vegetable, "They're the only edible thing I could find."

The day dragged on with the guy-Danny- playing nursemaid and insisting to take care of Respawn as he recovered, even going so far as to cut his food for him. Hes pretty sure Danny would have fed him himself if he had struggled anymore with handling the stick the fish was on.

Blessedly his enhanced healing factor ensured that he wasn't down for too long and he could take care of himself. He couldn't bring himself to be annoyed with Danny though. He was actually rather grateful.

When Respawn asked why Danny was out here in the wilderness he sheepishly told him about how his mad scientist parents had made a portal to another dimension and had tried to create a portal gun for portable access to said dimension. They were showing it to him, his sister and his two friends when something went wrong and the gun went off, sucking them all into the new portal. He woke up in the forest alone.

Looking back on thier past conversations, Repawn decided that it made sense. It would explain why Danny didn't know what a meta human was or that they had rights protecting them. Danny had been so excited when he had told him and immediately began using his unholy number of powers to help them survive in the wild.

Aka Danny, Jazz, Maddie, Jack, Sam, and Tucker are all thrown into the DC universe and all of them have been separated and are worried sick about the others and trying to find them

okay but "the symbolism is Real and Trying to Kill You" is my favorite kind of symbolism
