Headcannon that the second Cass saw Jason she was just immediately like… that is my baby brother. And Jason pretends to be really annoyed by this, he’s like a foot taller than her and (probably) older. But Cass doesn’t care and keeps finding ways to take care of him. She’ll leave notes in his safe houses reminding him to sleep or eat, and he can never figure out how she’s getting in. She’ll carry him with unnatural strength whenever he’s injured. Bruce needs to give him an apology. Jason was in the right for many things, and he undermined it and just beat the shit outta of him for it. Sometimes Jason is in the wrong, but sometimes he doesn't deserve it like in the Gotham War, when the Outlaws broke up, and other times. Jason deserves better, and if I were him, I would leave and never return.

The Jokes of the Ghost:
While de-aged, Danny stumbles into the Joker's hideout. Nothing special; it's a Clown. Well, Danny can prank him! The spirits around him all told him what they wanted to do to this clown. But no death, they don't want his ghost near Gotham, but very far away.
So Danny was causing harm with playful ghostly antics that turned the Joker's plans into comedy. Danny played pranks on the poor Joker for already one month. The Joker can't even leave the room without getting a bowling ball in his balls or a stumple to fall on his face. The money he stole is gone, the food he eats is rotten, or worse, his car is frozen solid, or his weapons are fake guns.
Much to the amusement of Gotham.
Then, one day, an angry joker and the police see who gave him all the problems. It was a meta! Dressed in a Bat Onesie.
Bruce: who are you? A new crime lord?
Jason: *takes off his helmet*
Bruce: *squints suspiciously* a new crime lord who looks like a grown up version of my dead son?
Jason: *sighs in annoyance and forces a bright smile*
Bruce: JASON THE NEW CRIME LORD???
DPxDC PROMPT ---- Self-Defense
Danny gets a job in Gotham as a self-defense instructor.
It satisfies his protection obsession, because he's teaching people to protect themselves.
He is teaching at a local gym. Basically, the gym gives classes, and finally decided to institute a bit of self-defense in the curriculum, because it's Gotham, after all. (Don't ask me why they didn't have it before, idk)
And Danny came rolling in with fake credentials, beat the other applicants, and got the job.
Jason has been going to this gym since he returned to Gotham, so he decides, what the hell, might as well try this class. it'll probably be a light, relaxing thing.
Wrong.
The first time Danny and Jason spar to gage Jason's skill level, Jason holds back, so Danny wins, but Danny requests a rematch, because he can tell Jason's not giving it his all.
Five minutes later, Jason is on his back on the mat, gazing up into sky blue eyes, and he hasn't been thrown like this in years. He was too big once he came out of the Pit, and honestly, the fact that this guy can manhandle, flip, and pin all 6' 4'' of him is extremely hot.
Danny is happy because he's fulfilling his obsession. Meanwhile Jason is pining for this man, and Danny is oblivious. Jason is slowly dropping hints of his interest, and Danny is misconstruing them in a platonic context, and Jason is getting to know him and falling more and more in love.
You know what, what the hell, let's add de-aged Dani in too.
One day, Jason follows Danny home. (he's a bat, they don't do boundaries like normal people do.)
He sees him head to an elementary school, and panics because is this perfect soulmate of his, like, a kidnapper or something?
He sees him pick Dani up and resigns himself to following this guy because he might be involved in trafficking thing or something, and then he's duty bound to shoot Danny, which is really quite a pity.
Instead, he sees them go home, and Danny being a good Dad, and he's just like "aaaaahhhh he's a good parent how many boxes can he check that i didn't know i had."
Eventually they end up dating. Don't quite know how it happens, but it does.
I thought I might write a mini drabble for this because I am inspired. I'm also avioding my research paper, but shush.
Warnings: Some angst, swearing, questionable activities.
Jason, Tim, and Stephanie hardly ever teamed up on cases or missions. A pair from the three names was more common but the overlap that lead to the current situation had a background in unconnected case parts.
Jason was working on a human trafficking ring, which happened to be run by the same people Stephanie was going after for a qeapon's trade, and Tim was following a drug trafficking case that lead the three of them in the same location. They had come to the understanding after several moments of arguing that they were dealing with a case of a larger organization.
It had gone well. Which normally meant something bad was going to come up later. However once the three had wrapped up the case and gave a few compliments, and riding off the adrenaline high they all made their way to a hole in the wall location where they ordered some good finger food.
Stephanie and Jason were hot headed but soon realized that they got along fairly well, and Tim who would consider himself the odd one out in the situation was dragged right back in when old Robin stories came up.
It was the closest to normalcy that they would get.
It was interrupted when out the window where they were seated they saw a small figure in oversized dark clothing and medical mask break into a car.
The three got up with all the intention to make sure the small figure which couldn't be older than a teen was alright.
Moving to the car they could hear the sound of tinkering.
Jason who was most curious and empathetic to younger law breakers took the first step forward.
"You alright kid?"
The gasp and a squeak could be heard before a small head with a beanie, medical mask, a worn hoodie and too large jeans could be seen. Not a street kid but the clothes weren't new or of high brand.
"HI mister, sorry is this your car?"
"No, but you looked lost an confused so my friends and I wanted to make sure you were okay."
Tim seemed to be scanning the area while Stephanie watched the kid for injuries.
"OH than, you won't mind if I hotwire this car to get home will you?"
The accent was of higher class. Younger and influenced by a foreign accent. Something in the back of Jason's head felt like he should know it, but he let it be in the moment.
"Why are you hotwiring a car to go home?"
"I checked Public records and this man is a registered child molester. If I get rid of his car than he can't travel far. I'm going a great justice taking it off his hands. I font have a phone with me and the numbers I know seem to be disconnected."
Stephanie looked impressed, Jason was weighing the pros and cons. Was entertaining this kid going to make Bruce mad? Sure, but patrol finished and he wasn't going to argue with the kids logic.
"How did you get the public records? Most places are closed this late?" Tim questions.
"I broke into the library and borrowed the computer. I didn't realize library computers were so advanced."
The kid talked like he still used dial up internet.
Stephanie, Jason, and Tim look at eachother before shrugging.
"We might as well join you to make sure you get home."
"You know that statement sounds like a kidnapping. However you three radiate chaotic energy and I haven't added an arson charge tonight yet."
au where bruce started being a small time vigilante when he was like 12 but his morals were alot more questionable back then and the only ppl who know about that phase is him and alfred

Dick and Jason are never letting this go. Ever. Damian attempts to ensure all evidence of that time is completely destroyed. Cass prevents this by taking all the pictures because it’s cute. Steph encourages Bruce and gives him ideas. Tim and Duke correct his mistakes. No one tries to actually stop him though.
