How to be approachable
Being approachable is an important characteristic that can improve your personal and professional life. Here are some suggestions on how to cultivate and sustain these quality:
Smiling can increase approachability and friendliness. It creates a pleasant environment and encourages others to interact with you.
Open Body Language: Avoid crossing your arms or standing with your hands in your pockets since they can make you appear closed off. Instead, use open body language by facing people squarely, creating eye contact (this can be really hard though), and having your arms relaxed at your sides.
Active listening demonstrates a real interest in what others have to say. Nodding, and asking follow-up questions show that you value their input and promote additional conversation. I always try to listen attentively It makes people feel heard especially when you also ask questions when they tell a story. As someone who talks a lot I also love listening
Be approachable. Physically: Position yourself in situations where people can easily approach you. Do not isolate yourself in a corner or bury your face in your phone. Initiate Conversation: Take the initiative to engage in conversations with people. This might be as easy as a polite greeting or a question about their day. Small gestures can go a long way toward making others feel comfortable approaching you. This is so important not all the time people will want to approach you because they might be shy or wary, so if you're interested in making a conversation with someone, sometimes you just need to get up and go for it. Approachability in Communication: When communicating, be aware of your tone and body language. Strive to express warmth and openness rather than being combative or dismissive.
I hope this helps and you feel more inclined to approach people and others see you as approachable

What~i~do~when~i'm~behind~on~work~or~assignments
This is a step-by-step guide to what I do when I'm behind on work. For example, not too long ago, I wasn't feeling like myself and couldn't work, and my work began to pile up, and I started panicking, which just made things more overwhelming. This is what I did to get back on track.
π β braindump: anything you have in your mind that you need to do even something simple like put your water bottle in the dishwasher WRITE IT DOWN, writing things down is the easiest way to know ok Iβm supposed to do this ok this is next do an intense braindump
π β break it down: once youβre done with your brain dump, divide your tasks, for example, assignments divide them by due dates for other tasks just divide them based on how much theyβre a priority to you. after dividing it, do physical tasks first, stuff like trying to hit 10k steps, do tasks that are hardest first especially when youβre really motivated and have the energy for it but if you donβt have the energy for it do milder tasks that way at least something gets done.
π β create a plan: create a realistic plan or timeline for finishing the activities or assignments. set aside precise blocks of time to focus on each assignment, taking into account your other obligations and deadlines. also if it's not a bunch of work you have to do that particular day, try and add each task to a particular date and remember to take breaks.
π β focus and minimize distractions: create a distraction-free workplace to promote productivity. turn off notifications, choose a quiet workstation and avoid multitasking to keep focused on the subject at hand.
π β use time management techniques: to increase productivity and efficiency, utilize time management strategies like the Pomodoro Technique (working in short, focused bursts with breaks in between) or time blocking (allocating certain time slots for different tasks). I use the Pomodoro method and it works great for me
π β stay positive and keep moving forward: it's natural to feel frustrated or overwhelmed when you're behind on your work, but try to remain positive and focus on making progress one step at a time.
bye, my dew drops that is all for todayβ¦
