Then in the present he believes her ghost is helping him, which in reality is just Susie getting Moloch to do things for her

Or: I thought a bit too hard about Robert's family, realized we hadn't touched upon his little sister, and thought "why not cut off the whole family line?"

I feel weird about Stolas x Blitzo. First of all, they are technically not childhood friends. They hung out for one day and did not see each for more than twenty years. Blitzo probably didn’t think about Stolas for years. Stolas was the one who remembered Blitzo despite not seeing him for years.

Think about that!

Imagine hanging out with someone for a day as a kid and still thinking about them for more than twenty years. Isn’t that a little weird? Also, Stolas technically doesn’t have to be with Blitzo now. He is a gay man who is single, rich and young(people in their 30s are still young) . Even if it doesn’t work out with Blitzo, he can easily date someone else. No one is stopping him.

You're preaching to the choir. Stolitz never clicked with me and I always saw it as messed up, but I didn't mind it's presence since the show made me think that it being messed up was going to be addressed.

The childhood friendship was retconned in to make it seem more palatable, but, ironically only made it worse.
