I'm not sure what I find more disconcerting: the knowledge that Mr. Ratburn and I have rather similar blogs, or the fact that I'm completely ok with that.
This is high-brow literature at its finest.
As much as I love it, I can't claim that it's my favorite children's book. That distinction belongs to Tuesday (go read it!).
